on 12/16/20Let's just say, they advertise falsely. They misrepresent what they are selling. Buyer beware.
It's a legit company, but they host a lot of resellers, some of whom might have terrible customer service.
They are a scam. Period. Despite what the alibis rep "Michael" posts on all the review sites. I suggest he spend more time responding to customer concerns.
They are a scam. They charged me $50 for shipping that cost them $10 and then pretended to not understand when I asked for a refund. Never, ever use them for anything.
They will not investigate issues. They will simply quote their return policy without any attempts to correct their actions. You might get lucky and walk away with a cheap book, or you might get scammed into buying a book without any content.
Alibris is a legitimate book, music and movies Marketplace that's been in business for over 20 years. We don't intentionally misrepresent any of our listings, but if you have an issue with something you receive you can always contact us at info@alibris.com so that we can investigate the issue.
