Nick E., same thing happened to me. Charged my credit card in full. I'm flying into London in 6 days from the USA and now I have to find another room. The hotel rates are sky high now. A system glitch. Yeah right!
I tried selling with Cancelon, they canceled my listing, AND CANCELLED MY ACTUAL ROOM WITH MY BOOKING AGENCY. I advise you to look elsewhere if you are looking to sell your room.
I had a bad experience with cancelon. I booked our hotel, paid the total amount and then I had to call them for my hotel confirmation to which I got told was the reason I did not receive my confirmation was because another customer booked before me so my booking was cancelled.
But I paid in full!' The answer was I will get a full refund within 7-10 days.
They offered me 10% off my next booking with cancelon.
After that ordeal they seriously think I will book with them again?
