They are a real company, owned by ILS COMPANY... However it states clearly that their business model is subscriptions. So, the purpose of falinas.com is not sell products, but to sell subscriptions. From that perspective you could say that it's a scam, because you think you're going to make a one time purchase... but you're not.

To me, I call it a SCAM because they automatically start billing your credit card MONTHLY and when you question this they say that you checked and agreed to the Terms and conditions. Who reads that $#*!? And, they know no one reads it and this is how they base their business... is that legitimate/ I suppose it is and buyer beware but what an awful way to FOOL CUSTOMERS... Also, many products are MORE EXPENSIVE than you can buy in a regular store... I'm sooo disgusted with sleaze balls like this..

It is a sophisticated scam really. You buy a product thinking you are ONLY going to pay for it, but afterall, you are not just paying for the thing you just bought. You are also giving your permition for Falinas to charge you 24.95 euros per month, as a payment for being "VIP member".

It's not exactly a scam because they supply products, of quite good quality, up to the value of what you've paid in, however, "membership" is compulsory and as soon as the direct debit is cancelled, membership ends and any credit on your account goes to zero.
It's a pity because their Aloe Vera products are very nice but I'd never purchase from them again and I had the feeling that I'd been done.

Products are advertised at the lower price, and that is the price ticked ready to go for the customer. It does not at any point state clearly that by proceeding you agree to the VIP membership. Who would? It costs 94 euros a month, in two 47 payment every 2 weeks. The funds have an "expiry" date, meaning you can only spend it for 30 days, after which period the money disappears. Many people don't even realise that they have "subscribed" until months later, only to find out the payments are non-refundable and support services of the company do their best to blame the customer for not being vigilant enough. There are groups of victims, European Customer Care centre is also aware of the problem.
