I am somewhat concerned about a lot of negative comments regarding after sales service. i am left wondering if it is really that bad?

Answer:

I completely agree. They advertise the items and yet haven't even sourced them from the manufacturer yet, I have instantly requested a full refund. Hopefully I will see this.
