I've bought a lot of cheap junk from BoomStreet, and been fairly satisfied, but I'd be leery of buying a high-dollar item from them. Google "BoomStreet reviews," and you'll see why.

Not from Boomstreet! They might be all right for small purchases, but not for important electronics. If you want a good refurbished Mac at a fair price, Apple sells refurbished units themselves. http://www.apple.com/shop/browse/home/specialdeals

I would never buy anything from Boomstreet again. I let $50 on a past experience with them (they changed their company name and refused to honour my purchase). If you read through this entire thread, you will see that it happened to others as well.

I did and it did not work. Boom street was unhelpful and I had to threaten fraud charges to get a refund. I will never purchase from them again.

My best advice is make sure there is a valid warranty in case you run into trouble. I would never buy anything from Boom Street!

Just make sure you can update the software. I bought one and can't do anything with it.
