When you use AA Eshopping: 1. Keep a copy of all receipts 2: Follow up frequently if the points do not show. They post WalMart well but LG poorly (I have been waiting 3 months) They do not respond to inquiries or send boilerplate "We are working on it." No explanations for anything. Poor advertisement for American (They are a vendor, I am sure) Trying to find the executive in AA to whom wone can complain.
Have made six purchase through the site and only two went through automatically. The others I had to file for points to be applied - despite the success message from their browser extension button appearing. Two failures were quickly processed but for Sam's Club they say an 8 week investigation is needed, and that means I won't earn status before my next trip as planned. It's enough to consider another airline with more reliable partners.

Tip for consumers:
Be afraid, be very afraid (not of flying but of shopping) and hope programmers do not fix planes.

Viator does not pay the miles offered when making a purchase. They give vague excuses as to why the miles aren't paid that do not relate to my purchase. American Airlines does nothing to correct the issue. They should stop working with this partner until issue is resolved.
aadvantageeshopping.com is run by cartera commerce out of MA. They run many other travel related websites as well. Cartera (and as such American Airlines) has a long history of posting "mistake" specials and rates and then refusing to honor them. One of the latest is "Glittergate". AAdvantage offered 83,870 bonus miles if you ordered certain items. After ordering them, having my credit card charged and have the item shipped, Cartera is saying, "Ooops, we screwed up, so we will give you 2,500 miles, rather than the 83,870 miles we enticed you with". And, oh by the way if you don't like our offer, talk to our $1,000 per hour lawfirm in Washington". American Airlines is basically saying: "What offer? Talk to Cartera".
If you can't trust that they will give you the miles they advertise, what good is that site? The credibility of the website and the airline is at stake, but none of the involved parties even see an issue here.
Stay away from any website run by CARTERA COMMERCE. They will screw you when they can.
