She released this statement: "To be recognized as a source of quality financial service and sound advice in the local community is truly a great honor. I look forward to continuing to provide quality service and advice to my clients, to help them work toward their financial goals". Beware! Pearl Lee is greedy, deceptive and manipulative. Lying to your face is not beneath her! I fired Pearl in 2010; after 18+ years of being her loyal client, this greedy woman defrauded my retirement account, my life savings. 18 years of investing resulted in nothing - she pocketed all the growth and walked away unscathed. Today 2021, Pearl Lee did not win the Five Star award last year 2020! In fact, she hasn't won this award for the last 5+ years. Pearl Lee is still an active employed broker with Janney Montgomery Scott. It is time to remove your "Congratulations" from your website (or add a disclaimer that you are not endorsing this broker). Please google "Pearl Lee Janney" or "Pearl Lee Gitter" and you can see the many growing negative reviews (and pics) that have not resulted in any cease and desist letter nor a defamation suit. Beware! Pearl Lee is a petty White Collar criminal and deserves nothing but contempt!

The Five Star Wealth Manager Award is a Joke!
Each year, Five Star Professional dot com grant Five Star awards to wealth managers/investment professionals. These award recipients must meet 10 eligibility criteria but these criteria are NOT true achievements of any kind (unless you consider not being arrested as an achievement).
These criteria are deceptive because they are a "low hurdle and measures the wrong things".
And on their website disclaimer: "The award methodology DOES NOT evaluate the quality of services provided."

When you are looking for a financial adviser to manage your hard earned money and life savings, wouldn't you think "Quality of Services" matter?! Quality of Service is a measure of one's integrity, honesty, true professionalism and embracing the fiduciary oath for his or her clients.
The Five Star award is a marketing ploy, their end goal is basically to sell advertising to the "winner".
And the end goal for the recipient/winner is basically self-promotion to gain unsuspecting clients.
In other words, these 2 cons are working together to fool the public.
You can be rude, greedy (which Pearl is) and incompetent - and still be a 5-Star Professional Winner!
This award is pathetic and so is Pearl Lee!
