I am not sure why so many are having problems with payouts. I have been a member since 2009 and have received several payments and on time. I don't qualify for as many surveys as I would hope to, but I have stuck with them because I know they will pay out, and they don't have offers that you have to sign up with, that carry tons of spam junk mail like many other survey sites do.

After finishing about 10-15 surveys I noticed that the emails stopped coming. I contacted the support and got vague response: "A search of our records indicates that you are not an active member of American Consumer Opinion®. There could be a few reasons for this. Your account may have been flagged for non-compliant activity, or you are signed up under another email address (besides this one). If your information was flagged, this could be due to several reasons. Your survey or registration data was not valid. We have found that you were not being compliant with the American Consumer Opinion® panel's Terms and Conditions agreement." They never responded to my demands to clarify and give my a specific reason for deactivating my account. Of course it happened as soon I've earned my first 100$ worth of points.

After many years of membership at this panel, I saw their rewards getting less and less incentives. Asking a question to them, seems hard to receive a complete answer or they only answer at one question only, don't ask more than one question on the same message when contacting them. This panel use Zendesk as member services and let me tell you that Zendesk desk is anything but far from being ZEN at all. You need to have patience when contacting them, they seem to have difficulties to understand you. Avoid at all cost, you'll lose your time, doesn't worth the efforts at all. Too bad, this panel seemed to have a beautiful future and a pleasant panel but got worst only in a few years.

Tip for consumers:
Your time worth more than the rewards given by ACOP

Stay away from this site I entered my email and password and never could login and reset password doesn't work they may be taking and selling personal info if my info is compromised they will definitely be on the list for sites to look into

I have been a member for a while at this survey site ACOP (American Consumer Opinion). If you tried to answer a screener survey but you were disqualified, you would get at least 5 points or an entry into their monthly drawing for a $100 Amazon gift card. I always got the 5 points. Nowhere on my Dashboard did it say I had an entry for the drawing.
Then I kept trying surveys and since July 14 I stopped getting the 5 points for answering screener surveys but not qualifying. I emailed support back and forth all the survey #'s I tried but didn't get my 5 points.
I finally found out this first week of August that they too are no longer giving 5 points for just trying. Seems a lot of companies are doing away with this.
Well to my amazement, I received an email that I am the winner of the $100 Amazon gift card!
You need 1200 points minimum to cash out to Paypal. It is hard to pass a survey on this site so I would rather win the $100! Which I did! I am 200 points away from the $10.00, but am glad I got the $100 Amazon card!
Support is very good on this site too. They are very helpful on explaining things. I can't wait to get my $100 Amazon card next week!
You never know, maybe I will win next month too!
They do send alot of survey invites, give it a try!

This site evidently does not fulfill promises or obligations to pay for surveys. I cashed in my points in early December 2017 and haven't been paid yet! I've contacted them and been given excuses and stall tactics. I will discontinue my membership when and if I get paid. Then I'm going public on all social media sites to warn everyone else about this scam site!

ACOP use to be a good company about 3-5 years ago... they paid promptly... but now they are just like all the rest of the shady survey companies... they want you to do the surveys but will never pay you for your service... shame on them... i have been waiting since feb 5,2018 for my 10.10 and every story is the same when i contact them... we will move you to the top of the list...

I cashed out $40 and it was approved on June 20,2017. I was told up to 12 weeks for payment, which in itself is unheard of. Most survey sites pay within a couple day's, some pay instantly. Well it's October 5th, 2017, over 14 weeks and still no payment. I've emailed them numerous times and they either don't respond or send me some response about how they are looking into it, a week has gone by since the last "we are looking into it", with no further response. I complained about non payment on their FB page, along with hundreds of other users, and they blocked me. They delete and block all negative posts and only keep up the positive ones. Now they have blocked me from emailing them.
*update* I received payment about three weeks after writing this review. So I am still doing business with them. They will pay it just takes forever.

Been with them for a long long time out of the blue they just close my account and don't even tell me why When they did pay it took forever to pay

When in the world will they pay you for cashing out points? Honestly, they are good about sending surveys but to pay you, that is another story.

I cashed out in mid-December and again in mid-January and have yet to receive my checks. I have messaged them numerous times and even though these payments have been approved, they are unable to give me dates as to when these checks will be mailed.

DO NOT sign up with them unless you prefer to wait several months for payment.

They used to be much better a few years ago but as of recently, very poorly managed.

Have been a member at least 5 years and they used to be really good. Now surveys are few and cashing out points is truly cruel and unusual punishment... There are many great sites, this is not one... Waiting for a measly $13.20 check from March 5... very sad that this company cannot keep it together...

This survey company does not pay - I have been waiting 3 months for a measly $11 payout (that took forever to achieve) Best to just stay away!

Fifteen years ago, American Consumer Opinion was a lot of fun. I got tons of items to use and review, like dishwasher gel, cat food, cereal, perfume, shampoo and conditioner, etc. I also got lots of different and fun surveys. They've devolved into occasionally sending a "screener" survey that gets me nowhere and is worth almost nothing to complete. It took months and months to collect enough points to cash out (there's a 1000-point/$10 minimum), and when I did, it took six months to get my money--via PayPal! How hard is it to send money to PayPal? Six months? Really? And I NEVER received my last payment of about $40. I deleted my account.

I am waiting for 25 dollars from July and August via Paypal and I have not received it yet. When I previously asked for checks over a year ago it would take 2 months. I called the BBB and left a message.

I did surveys for a while without cashing out because I was waiting for my account to build up to $100. Now that it is about $98 dollars, my account was suddenly closed. I sent a couple mails, but had no response. I am not sure how I am going to get paid. This is very disappointing. ACOP was reliable when it was time to get paid for surveys, but this is very disappointing. I just need to get paid all of what I am owed.

12/14/2015 - Finally received check after all this time.

They used to be really prompt and payment were on time but my last 2 cash outs never arrived and when I email them I get no reply at all anymore. This is exactly how rewardport.com acted before they stopped paying people. Don't do anything here you won't get paid.
