Very easy to use and it offers many filters for hotel reservation. Way easier than other booking sites. I tried booking our family holiday on other sites but they either did not give the option for calculating children fees; others did not offer filter for apartment booking or 5 people in one room alpharooms automatic finds the option and offers it. Way way better than any other! This is our second holiday booked with alpharooms will definetly use again

Site is easy enough to use and book a room. However, if something goes wrong with your booking, don't expect this company to get it sorted. My hotel closed due to coronavirus. The hotel stated they would be willing to give me accommodation at another of their hotel, all they required was Alpharooms to contact them so they could modify the booking. I have contacted Alpharooms customer service numerous times, after being kept on hold for 30-40 mins each time. My issue still isn't resolved. They weren't even aware that the hotel had closed. They just take your money, book the room then forget about you. Will never use again!

Site is easy enough to use and book a room. However, if something goes wrong with your booking, don't expect this company to get it sorted. My hotel closed due to coronavirus. Booked early Jan, now told 3 different reasons why hotel is cancelled.No alternative offered and hotel is still available but at way higher price. This site is a con and call routed to India where told to take a refund or keep the flights, no email or number for senior manager given despite asking numerous times. Avoid at all costs!

Booked a hotel in Portugal through alpharooms for my daughters wedding this September. As I thought it was a very good price I contacted some of my family to book aswel. We all received confirmation emails and happy our hotel was booked. A few wks later we received emails saying no room availability and an error occured. What a joke we checked website and they still had rooms available. Will never book with alpharooms again. Avoid!

Disgraceful company, used for 15 years No More
Had a holiday booked for the middle of May, obviously couldn't go due to covid 19, have e-mailed them several times with pathetic replies eventually coming through, won't give a refund and won't even give a voucher now, going to have to take it further, when we pay early they obviously use our money to pay there suppliers for other customers hence no cash flow and running there business with our money, worrying ethic that.

I have called alpharooms twice now to request a rebooking of my hoilday till next year due to Corona virus. Both times the ladies said that someone would get back to me, and they didn't. I'm truly frustrated with this, and dissatisfied, the lady on the phone talked over me and did not listen to a word I had to say, just wanted to stay on script and get me off the line. I was on hold for a period of time ( which is understandable, but what horrible music). No one has yet to still get back to me in regards to my holiday.

AVOID
I booked a hotel with this company and when I got there they had no booking confirmation. I contacted alpha rooms and they said there was nothing g they could do. I had to pay again at reception. I have been a emailing alpha rooms constantly with little reply only to make excuses to get rid of me

I have used Alpharooms many times over recent years however my trip in Dec. 2020 will be the last time. Accommodation and transfers were booked with Alpharooms and unfortunately the airline changed the flight day. We contacted Alpharooms to request a change of hotel to airport transfer which they agreed they would arrange however they failed to do this so no transfer turned up. We contacted customer service and were told to take a taxi at our expense (1 hour taxi journey) and claim it back on our arrival in the UK. Several emails and a letter have failed to bring a response or the refund. Don't waste your money booking with this company as they will not refund if there is any problems.

Short summary: This company, Alpharooms should not be allowed to function! Extremely poor/actually, non existent customer service and after 14 months of chasing for a refund, numerous emails and calls still not refund. Next step is to contact my lawyer! DO NOT book your holiday with this company... it's only waste of time and headaches!

Brilliant value only snag was I add to add a person to my booking and had to pay 3 x £30 modification charge

Booked the hotel golden rock 17 th of September. Payed in full for the12th to the 19th of October all inclusive 2 people. Got our accommodation voucher. And arrived at the resort hotel to find Alpharooms had cancelled our booking on the day of arrival with out sending us a email. Hotel reception contacted Alpharooms and they gave us a in resort help line. Who were unhelpful and belligerent. Said we would get a refund in 3 days and it was a technical mistake by Alpharooms and there was nothing they could do. We had to pay again £480 to the hotel reception. Guess what Alpharooms have not refunded us and judging by all the reviews of them of the same thing I think we will have a fight on our hands to get a refund. Back at home now and have contacted Alpharooms who don't give a monkeys. Given the same spiel as when we phoned resort helpline will be refunded in 3 days. Yeah of course we will. They would of left us in Turkey without a hotel and was nt bothered one bit if we had the money to pay for another hotel. All I can say to people reading this review is book at your own risk

I have used alpharooms for several years, and never been disappointed. When compared, always the best prices. Easy to understand online information.the paymebnt methods eare helpful.

We are due to travel this week and as soon as our flights were cancelled 10 days ago we have been trying to contact them. I have emailed numerous times with no reply. I have done online reviews that are obviously not great and you get a quick response promising contact but nothing still. This morning I eventually managed to get on the live chat function, but guess what theres nothing live about it. Nearly 2 hours later and all I have been told is they are looking at my booking... it's a 3 night hotel only, nothing complex about it... we will now be contacting our credit card company to try and get our money back. No telephone line to contact them unless you want to book a holiday... Don't do it, take your business to somewhere that has customer service

I have been trying every Avenue to contact Alpharooms as they have 1200 euro of my money for a holiday I cant go on... I asked them via email to please not take the final payment of 2000 from my account as I have to cancel... due to covid restrictions... They still tried to take it! After all my emails! They have never replied to my emails but they did send me an email within 24 hrs of trying to get my 2000 euro to say that I need to pay my final balance! (Luckily I cancelled my card!) What is wrong with them? They are taking peoples money and then no one is responding, or offering any refunds to people. Thieves and cowboys!

After a cancelled holiday in March, we asked this company for a cash refund, my brother was told they would keep back 10%, i was eventually after numerous attempts told my refund would be in my account by July, July? Nothing, but they did phone me July 2nd for references of other bookings on my card. After years of booking 2-3 holidays a year with them! They can now go fly a kite, lying gits.

I started using Alpharooms services since 2012 and have booked my summer vacation several times, always at great prices at 4 stars properties and everytime got the best service.
Booking process was easy and smooth and payment scheme very convenient, secure and reliable.
Just booked again my 2018 summer vacation at very competitive price and looking forward to enjoying a great experience I had in past.

Alpha rooms stated there was a "glitch" in the system and took 400 out of my account which I had not aurthorised. No warning nobody told me till I checked my account later that evening. Rang and customer service was horrible and I did not receive my money for a long time and my mortgage was not paid due to your mistake. Spelled my name wrong and after ringing twice to fix that I'm still called the wrong name.Not a trust worthy company would not book again.

Would not recommend. Could not give us original hotel so told us they had booked us into a hotel 10 minutes away when it actually turned out to be 1 hour away and would not offer any other alternative other than cancellation with no refund even though we had not got what we had paid for otherwise false adverising. We tried to speak with staff which was otherwise useless as they did not understand us which is not their fault but if you are running a customer service surely they should be able to speak English. They could not understand what we were saying therefore going around in circles. We then changed our transfer times as the airport told us there was delays. We rang alpha rooms to change our transfer time to an earlier time which they confirmed that they had done. Only for us on the day to be sitting waiting/ running late an hour. A joke of a company to be dealing with and I will never be using again. Shambles of a website. Stick to booking.com or hotels.com

Carlos, Carlos handled my booking and flight transfer, called me when I was busy with college as stated in all my emails. Took extremely long time as well as calling me 4 times in one night. This request was made two weeks ago, after 7 calls and various angry emails my request was finally completed. Really unprofessional customer service work.

I have used AlphaRooms for years and will continue their site is good and their prices are keen. Just two negatives their support whilst in the booking process is poor I spoke to two different people online one gave totally wrong info and the other spelt the company name wrong, secondly the £4.95 charge every time you make a part payment is annoying. BUT other than that very well recommended

You will not receive any refund from this outfit even if you have paid cancellation fee. They are not taking phone calls or replying to emails or there own cancellation page. Think there finished

Very easy to use. Only thing wrong on site is its charges which should be when you select your hotel showing nil to direct debt then credit card charges as some sites do not charge fees
