Customer service for this company is non existent. They blame their selected carrier for packages that are lost and will not refund or replace the product. Their customer service is very rude and keeps lying to you just to get you off the phone. First it's 5 days then 10 days then 48 hours after that. Basically you'll never get your items and you just got ripped off. Go somewhere else.
I won't be ordering from Altitude Sports again. I have issues with sore feet and read about the Altra shoe brand on Reddit so thought I'd give it a shot thinking I could return the shoes if i didn't like them. Found their Olympus womens shoes on Altitude Sports, a bit steep of a price around $200, but thought they'd be worth it if they made my feet feel better. The fit was fine, but they are honestly pretty ugly and look like clown shoes. I wasn't a fan, so I decided to return them. After paying a return shipping cost of $12 and waiting two weeks for my refund, I got an email saying the return was non compliant because there was some dog hair on the shoes. I took these shoes out of the box to try them on and put them right back. The pictures they sent back showed a bit of dog hair, but this wasn't damage to the shoes. What if I had tried these on in store and happened to have dog hair on my pants that got on the shoes? It's not like they'd make me buy them. They then said I would not get a refund and would have to pay an additional $16 in shipping to get the shoes back. So now I've paid shipping on these shoes two additional times. Don't order from this place unless you're really sure you'll keep the gear. Not worth losing all that money in this economy.
Absolutely useless store. The SALE deal is a scam, they just want you to buy in bulk so if you buying a singlejacket on 40% sale, ITS NOT A TRUE DEAL. They will return the item.

I ordered a winter jacket from them. I did a lot of research on the best winter jacket because I needed a good one when I walk my high energy dog in Canadian winter. I spent days and found the one. Altitude Sports had only one left in my size and colour I liked, so I ordered it before someone else would take it. I just received the package, which was relatively quicker than I expected and it was the right timing that it started snowing. But they sent me the wrong jacket. It's not even the same brand, not the same colour, not the same size, and it was way cheaper than the one I ordered. I checked the website and of course they don't have the jacket I wanted anymore. The only available one is xxs in a different colour. I was already furious by the fact that I couldn't get the jacket I wanted, no chances to exchange because it's gone. And the customer service rep who chatted online didn't know how to speak to a customer. I was a customer service in years, I know how they should talk to customers especially when it was their fault. Now I have to print out the return label and pack the wrong item and drive to Canada Post to send it back to get my money back. They didn't lose anything and talked to me like I did something wrong on the chat. Why would I have to do all this for nothing, for THEIR MISTAKE, and I'm not gonna get anything. If I could, I wanted to give zero star or minus 100 starts. Don't buy anything from them. They don't even apologize.

After reading bad reviews I was worried about buying Altitude - Sports, however I got my Barbour jacket in just three days and after I just checked out my product I receive texts day by day letting me know when I will get my jacket. Great Job!

Have shopped there for years and their customer service has really deteriorated. Had a package lost and took 2 months to resolve and get my money back. Multiple phone calls, emails and promises from customer service but no resolution. Extremely rude staff and never able to get through to a supervisor. Higher management is buffered by their employees. Very disappointing Altitude sports, you use to be great and now you're one of the worst online stores I have ever shopped
I've ordered from Altitude sports quite a few times - I bought running shoes, gloves, winter jackets (x3), school bags and they were always delivered in great condition, perfect quality and authentic. Delivery was always super quick (I live in Canada) and I like their lifetime membership perks. They even have interesting sales and offer credits as perks which attract me more to buy from them than another store who would have a similar sale. I have never had to return anything so I cannot speak on that part. I also have chatted with their customer service and they've all been pretty helpful.

The refund process didn't happen in five days. As of today I've been waiting for ten business days. Fifteen days in total with weekends and a one day was a holiday. I called today Altitude Sports today and was told they will need to call the company where item was sent from (and where it was sent back to) as they is no information available regarding the refund. They will leave voicemail with the company and the company will call them back in two to three business days. Once they know the status of my refund they will send me an email. Because it's a Friday, I'll be waiting another four-five days for amy information. Any other online shopping sites has never taken nearly this long or has kept me out of the loop. If I send a pkg back on a Monday I receive email wnen pkg arrives (by Tuesday). Then another email is sent to me to inform me that the refund has been sent. Refund has been sent. The refund is back in my account within one or two day's. This has been a the standard wait time for four other companies I've been purchasing from in the last three years.
I figured they were very busy so I decided to give them a few more days so to find out today that they haven't even began the refund process and it's also it is going to take even longer,.is very disappointing. I also need winter boots! I cannot buy another pair until I receive the refund from this pair. There's a winter storm on the way and it's going to be a big one which will last several days so this fact adds to my disappoint. Customer service was friendly however the five day refund process stated on their website is misleading and intrue. Just keep in mind that there is a shipping fee on returns that is taken out of your refund. I'm not upset about this, just letting you know incase you aren't aware of this.

Customer service was polite the two times I've spoken with them. I just wish I was aware of how long a refund would take to be returned to me. The brand of boot sizes is not the same as their sneaker sizes so these boots were a size too small. I am responsible for the shipping fee to return them.

When trying to purchase over Christmas could not reach anyone via phone or email. I had questions about the product and this because had no assistance purchased it and had to return. Signed up for newsletter for which I was supposed to receive a discount - never did. And when returning said item never once was I told there would be a fee for returning it. I WILL NEVER purchase from altitude sports again. It was a terrible experience from start to finish.
Beware this company has no physical locations and their returns department only communicates via eml. If you wish to return a product they charge you $10 and reserve the right to refuse any return at their discretion. Even if the product is returned in perfect condition they will send it back to you if the packaging is damaged in any way. Stay far away from this company.
I was un-able to return a jacket that was opened X-mas day, because I bought in Sept. Never been worn other than to try on, and I was just wanting a different size. Sad experience and unfortunately I will never use Altitude Sports again. They didn't even try to make anything possible. Just left me with a expensive Pantagonia jacket that I will have to try and sell on the side, and then buy a new one elsewhere. Terrible experience. Keep this in mind when shopping with them.

I bought mountaineering boots from this website. They were on sale for $300 so I purchased The North Face Summit Series Breithorn FUTURELIGHT boots. The order was placed over two weeks ago and said to arrive on July 10th. However, the delivery service postponed it to July 11th for unknown reasons. The delivery said it would arrive at 1:00 PM. Unfortunately, they delayed it to before 9:00PM. Then it was delayed AGAIN to 2:45PM today, it didn't arrive and was delayed further to an unknown time.

Spend thousands here but won't anymore after dealing with their horrible return policy that only benefits them. There is a reason they have no Google reviews linked to the web site.
On week 3 of no answers as to where the return process is at.
Mistakes on the web site with pictures not corresponding to the product that's shipped.
Nobody is rude just no communication.
Heads up they don't list "marketplace" items on the product web page when you order that are not even shipped by them but by other companies. Your returns on a "marketplace item" take months to get done. Way better choices out there.

I bought a pair of ski pants for Black Friday and when they delivered, the delivery service they used just left the package outside my house even after I specifically told them not to. Calling customer service required a 30 minute wait each time before I got to talk to anyone and the customer service representatives don't know what they're doing. They seem to have no power and try their best to get the customer off the line. They also continuously provide false information and go back on their promises. For example I was told that they would switch carrier only to be told an hour later via email that they can't do it.

They false advertised boots as vegan but it had wool in it. They were extremely difficult to convince for a refund due to lying on their product description. If you check their refund policy they can deny it and take your money for something as small as a hair found after trying them on. Best to avoid Quebec companies in general as the place is a bunch of scammers.

I should really start reading reviews before I order from new sites. 3 days after my order and the items are still being processed for shipping. I received my other items from other sites, but Altitude still has not processed anything.
I ordered a pair of Salomon worth $300 and my order stayed inactive for more than a week, i had to ask them about the status, after 3 attempts i found out that order was not sent out, customer service as brief as possible and very bad, i rather drive to US and buy there even if its more expensive for me but i earn a great customer service (fleet feet in Buffalo is where i drive to)

Altitude has super fast shipping and fast returns. No waiting and wondering when your refund will come through. I purchased the ´lifetime free returns'. It's totally worth it and makes purchasing online simple and risk free.

My first, second and third experience using Altitude Sports has been top tier in customer support. I ordered a boot in a size that should have had plenty room but turned out to be too small. I tried a second time and the next size was still too small. I chose to request a refund and it was hassle free including shipping fees. However, my refund was withheld. A quick call and it was addressed immediately. I woukd recommend using this online Canadian company. They don't make the size of shoe, only sell them. Something must be done about shoe size standard in this country though!
