The atlatl is impressively put together. It looks so good, and works very well. When I have a little more time, I am going to grab a target. Right now, I am just working on my "swing." I said "good darts" because the fletching at the end is slowly deteriorating. The wood part of the darts is impressive, and I don't really think there's a way to get the fletching in there permanently. It feels like these will last a long time. We'll see when let the kids try them.

The oak shafts will be perfect for the custom work I am planning. Out of the 10 that I purchased one had a flaw that was not visible until it broke. I made contact with the Atlatl Madness and they stated they would replace the defective shaft. What more can you ask for? Anytime you work with organic materials like wood, it is possible to have defects and if they are while to replace it, THEY HAVE MY BUSINESS!

I teach a course in primitive weapons and I needed some new darts at an extra atlatl within days. I ordered on Sunday and they arrived on Wednesday in perfect condition. My students had a blast learning how to throw using an atlatl.

There's not a lot to say. I ordered the product from the website. It shipped quickly and arrived in good condition. The Atlatl and darts seem to be well made. They're finished nicely and feel solid. It's a gift for a friend, so I haven't gotten to play with it yet

I had ordered five tips for my darts on line. It was simple to do. When the order arrived in my mailbox, the envelope was torn open by the metal pieces inside. Two of the tips were gone, lost somewhere in the US Mail, another fell out and into a nether region of the open console in my FJ.
I was chagrinned.
When the Atlatyl god inquired about the order, he didn't laugh. He just told me he would send me some more tips. He makes me want to buy more stuff from him.

The ash shafts are great and shipping was fast.

Everything went smooth from the ordering process to the delivery. The product looked great. Unfortunately I had one dart break right away. There must have been a weak spot in the grain of the wood, because it hit the target and snapped in half. It wasn't any fault of the maker, so I will be ordering a replacement soon.

This was my first purchase of an atlatl or parts thereof, I was very impressed w/ the helpfullness I got since I did not know anything abt atlatls or the sport, let alone the equipment. The owner helped me very much, and made sure I ordered exactly what I wanted. He got the order ready and shipped to me in time for my grandson's burthday. Overall, I was very satisifed with my experience and would recommend it to any one with an interest in atlatls. The corresponding web site was helpful and easy to navigate.

I on the other hand was not helpful or friendly and I am publicly apologizing for that. Doesn't matter if there was or wasn't a problem or who's fault anything was, the fact is I received some pretty darts that function well and I was a jerk about it. The merchant kept his demeanor positive and compensated me well for a perceived issue I had.

I'll be giving my business again and will be directing others towards him and giving a good mention in a product review on my channel

I do longbow archery and I throw knives because they're basic, accessible and primitive. And they require great skill and focus. The atlatl is that much more primitive and accessible---could make one with a knife in the woods. A new skill to remind me of our past. And to make me appreciate that I don't have to depend on it for dinner.
