“AutoAssure Northbrook, IL "BECAREFUL DO NOT PURCHASE EXTENDED CAR CARE!"”

Autoassure is a scam. I placed 3 claims and all were denied. This is what they specialize in finding a reason where you are denied any claim you make. This company called my cell phone misrepresenting themselves as if they were from BMW. I thought I was buying an extended warranty through them. I terminated my contract and on December 4th a check from AutoAssure was issued to Christy Mitchell-Beetem for $984.14. I requested that the check be sent to my home address through an email on November 27th, instead it was sent to my work address. I called on Monday December 2nd and spoke with a representative to make sure it would be sent to my home address and find out how many days it would take to get to my house. I asked this question because I am a teacher and knew that we had a 2 week vacation coming up. I did not want it sent to the school when no one was working. I was told it would be 10-15 days and it would be sent to my home address. I called each week when the check didn't arrive. They were not help telling me, "It will come." I called on December 17th and I was told the check was issued on December 4th and sent to my work address. They have taken zero accountability for this mistake. The check was stolen and cashed before it made it to me. The signature is blatantly fraudulent. I have included the check. There is a Bank Reference number is on the check and the customer reference number. The check was cashed on 12/31/2019. AutoAssure refused to have their claims department track where the check was cashed or ask 5th and 3rd Bank to stop the check. The check was issued by 5th and 3rd bank in Northbrook, IL. (Which is AutoAssure's bank) I called AutoAssure numerous times. I also called 5th and 3rd bank. They are consistently telling me they are "Washing their hands of this situation." I have asked repeatedly to help me track where the check was cashed. They told me file a police report that they will no longer help. The people at AutoAssure that I repeatedly dealt with was the Floor Manager Sheena Young, and a Representative Emily Koehler. Neither would give me the name of the Floor Manager's (Scheena's) supervisor. DO NOT BUY ANY TYPE OF WARRANTY FROM THIS COMPANY. YOU WILL NEVER RECEIVE ANY MONEY FOR YOUR CLAIMS. Read the BBR (This is a nationwide company). They are affiliated with all of the AutoAssure Texas complaints. Read the Yelp Review's given 1 star for constant denial and in many cases called a complete scam! Every company has insurance to cover a fraudulent check. They chose to not do anything. Stealing from a school teacher! Very Nice! They are probably in on the scam with the 5th and 3rd bank or they would have tracked a fraudulent check. SO BEWARE! THIS COMPANY IS BAD NEWS AND WILL TAKE YOUR HARD EARNED MONE
