From the moment you walk into the Beauty Brands in Shiloh, Illinois, your greeted with a smile. The past three months, I've been blown away by the fantastic customer service. Amy in the salon is truly been a blessing. She listens, provides 5 STAR service, and goes above and beyond to make sure all clients are taken care of. I highly recommend Amy in the Salon for any cut, color, or style.

I have ordered online from beautybrands website several times without an issue. Love there prices and products. This last time I ordered a liter of each, shampoo and conditioner, both arrived fine. I also ordered a shine spray and a leave in conditioning spray. The conditioning spray's cap was not on tightly causing the product to completely empty out during shipment. I called customer support and left numerous messages. Never a call back! I messaged off the website, no response! I called a store and a wonderful man gave a message to his district leader. Never heard from the district leader but did receive an email from an "angie" few days later. She has been completely unhelpful and does not respond in a timely matter at all! I have explained what happened and sent pictures at her request with no response on her end. I am unsure if I will ever order online again. Unfortunately, the nearest store is 4 hours away. Might just have to suck it up and shop ar ulta from now on.

I saw the sale that is currently running on the beautybrands.com site. It is hair spray for $11.48 a can. That's a great price for some of the brands offered. For instance, the Sexyhair with the new fragrance is $22 on amazon right now - they are offering it at $11.48 - spent $60 and get free shipping! So i ordered 6 cans - it came quickly enough - about a week. I get the box from ups and the entire side of the box is slammed in! It looks like it was used to play soccer! Ok if they are packaged well enough - no problem - and for the most part 5 of the cans were fine. One of the cans had a dent. The first thing you notice when you remove can's from the box is that they are 50 - 75% full - which would account for the price about half of what amazon is selling. The can w/the ding was probably 30% full. I sent an email to cs - was told they need pics of box, pics of can, pics of where box was left on my porch (?) etc...i dont' have the box i threw it away and i sent you a pic of the can and porch? NO that's not enough - sorry nothing we can do! That was it! I said fine - let me return it! They wanted me to pay shipping to return and they weren't gonna guarenttee they would refund since it was DAMAGED!? Seriously, I didn't damage it! And i didn't use more then half of it in 3 days! So I will never purchase from them again! I'd suggest no do it because it is a risk!

I have spent over $600.00 in services and products for the past two months at Beauty Brands. I returned some products (not used). I am on day six now of not receiving my credit. They are now saying, it is up to my bank. My bank does not see a credit at all. They lie, say it was already processed, and you can't get a hold of anyone in customer service.

Pay cash only if you purchase anything. These are young girls at checkout that know nothing at all.

Tip for consumers:
Please get some experienced employees that are older than 20 at the checkout counter. They know nothing at all. Very unprofessional. My stylist is wonderful. However, I won't be back. Go to Sephora.

Went to local store and shopped clearance isle after getting a brow wax. First, they did not charge me correct price for wax and did not give me the discount they were running on clearance items. Returned to store and order rang a second time. Staff was rude. They then double charged me on a $60 product. Called store later and was told nobody knew what to do and GM would call following day. Never received call. This is theft in my opinion. And my eyebrows are completely botched.

Employees need training and to know how to do their jobs.

I ordered three sets of shampoos and conditioners during the annual liter sale. I was disappointed to receive my package and the product had spilled out all inside the box on all 6 of my liter containers.

Very poor quality. The size is not standard. I was shocked. Also my phone received spam messages every day since I placed my order. Finally I found there are hundreds of this kind of fashion shops online especially on Facebook and Instagram, they are all provided beautiful products but from unknown companies. My order was shipped from mainland China. Careful check customer reviews before you buy! I pay what I learned!

This company needs to step up their mailing services. I ordered on July 2, it's July 19 and I still haven't received it, let alone an update on when it will arrive. I purposely order well in advance because I know how slow they are, but the wait time is now beyond ridiculous. I'm down to fumes on what I ordered. While I appreciate and use their "take 10" program, the discount isn't worth it any more. I'll pay more, but I can buy my products from another retailer minutes from my home. Come on people!

Order well in advance because their shipping is glacial.

I purchased products that did not work out. Their policy is to return items.

My return was on my debit card. It has been more than three days to return the money to my account. This is the second time.

It's not my bank. I had a return at Family Dollar that was returned instantly. Pay in cash only to avoid the long wait for a credit back to your card.

I placed an order online during their liter sale and mistakenly selected the wrong conditioners. They won't update your order same day or any day at all. Very inconvenient! Now I have to wait to get the product and return it. Their sale will end by then won't have time to reorder. Can't even cancel the order and reorder it. I love their liter sales but this experience ruined it for me!

I placed an order in mid-June and it is now July 11 and I still have not received my order. The tracking number just shows that a label has been created...and it has been that way since June 29. I tried emailing customer service and I have not received a response. Then, I called customer service and I got an automated message telling me they weren't available and there was no option to leave a message for a call back! To top it off, I received a partial refund from PayPal because they said one of the items was no longer available. Still wondering what's going on with the rest of my order! I do not recommend ordering anything from them online. I've had an ok experience going into one of their stores.

1st time ordering and very satisfied with everything I ordered especially the 16 piece fall beauty anniversary bag for 2023 and nice size samples for blonde colored hair. Will definitely order again, if you sign up for email they send coupons.

I ordered a bottle of La Prairie facial cream for $164 almost a month ago, I has never received anything even though the order confirmation says "within 7 days". I emailed them at the address posted on their website *******@buybeautybrands.com, I never got a reply. I called them at the number they posted on the website *******654, the call never went through. I also sent a message on its online chat room, the message never went through. No one is working online either. BBB is a total scam!

This is neither a legitimate web site nor vendor. Received confirmation of my order. Never received product. Indicated that my shipment could be tracked by an a app ARRIVE. Bogus claim. I attempted to follow up with the Beauty Brand's published email and published contact telephone number. No responses. Avoid doing business with this illegitimate concernsI I fear they are crooked and that I have been duped.

3 calls with messages left, email sent and urgent text message sent. Still no response after 2 days. I guess they don't want the business. Had an issue with trying to place an order. No one will respond to assist. Frustrating!

Dear Beauty Brands, I am not a robot! I ordered 2 Litres of Joico JoiFULL Volumizing Shampoo JOI 33.8oz and received them approximately 5 to 6 days later in Texas. I had no issues with the process I got spooked after reading this website and almost cancelled the order but I decided to wait it out. I want to Thank the Company for fulfilling their end of the bargain. Thanks

Business practices in questionable/illegal practices including bait and switch tactics.
I tried repeatedly to contact customer service to no avail. I was lied to multiple times and then asked to pay increased prices if I wanted to receive the items I had ordered (and paid for). They do not answer phone calls only send to voicemail and email questions may receive a reply but not actually address concerns/questions. I am reporting them to the Attorney General to hopefully help others not have the same hassle I have had to deal with.

There are plenty of online options for beauty products. Shop elsewhere.

I order a Clarins body cream 3 weeks ago for my sister's birthday. Nothing arrived, it keeps showing as shipped. No one answers the phone. The tracking app is another scam wanting a lot of information from you before telling you it shows as shipped. I wish I read the reviews before I ordered. I am going to work with my credit card company to see if they can credit me.

I was hesitant to order from Beauty Brands after reading numerous negative reviews. I did place
An order and my experience was the opposite! All correct items were delivered in the time frame
Indicated and all liter bottles of shampoo and conditioner were taped at the top to prevent spillage.
I am extremely happy with the whole experience. Thank you Beauty Brands!

I placed an order on July 18th my order didn't even ship until July 26th. Of course they use the slowest shipping possible. Now it is just circling around me. Shipped out 7 1/2 hours from me. It's now August 2nd and it's still just traveling around. On July 31st it got within 2 hours of me and then reversed and headed back south and is now back to being 6 hours away. Lesson learned, I could have drove 25 min into town and bought the same exact thing for a little more. Next time I will. First and last time purchasing from Beauty Brands

I ordered a product over a month ago and havent received anything. Same thing as other reviews received an email confirming my order but no way to track as the email suggested. I've made contact through email and phone... no response. I'm going to report this company. This is horrible I"ve never experienced fleeing duped online ever. Lesson learned.

I ordered a number of products back in May 2020. Received a confirmation email and that my order was shipped. Then received an email about an app I could use to track my order but never received a single update. Sent multiple emails, no response. Called, left a message, no response. Tried to initiate a live chat and got a message saying an error occurred and that I should try again later. SCAM! They stole my money. Cons!
