Claim Your BusinessBidSwap.com has a rating of 3 stars from 2 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally dissatisfied with their purchases. BidSwap.com ranks 86th among Penny Auction sites.
This reviewer has never visited BidSwap.com. We are a legitimate site that does not have fake bidders or shills and we deliver all your winnings usually within a week. This person got burned by one site and never bothered to understand how Penny Auctions work. Rather than learn what was happening she decided it was all a rip off and wrote bad reviews about every Penny Auction site she could find. Penny Auctions are not eBay. First, we don't sell used stuff, everything we auction off is new with warranty. Second, Penny Auctions are auctions based on game theory, and although no one is guaranteed to win, the potential savings are enormous. Yesterday we sold a $100 Target gift card for 18 cents and a Playstation Move Bundle for 3 cents. The way our auctions work is that you purchase the bids up front for 60 cents each, if you place ten bids on an item that costs you 6 dollars. We lose money on the vast majority of our auctions. We're giving away $15, $20, $25 dollar gift cards all day long for pennies. Even if you don't win the auction you can then apply 100% of the money used to purchase those bids to purchase the item, so there is no risk in bidding. We even have beginner auctions that almost always go for 1 bid for a $10 gift card, so as soon as you sign up you get $10 back. If you want to see what real customers who know what a Penny Auction is think about us here are a few forum threads with people talking about what they won and how quickly they got the products. http://www.pennyauctionwatch.com/forum/bidswap-com/ http://pennyauctioncommunity.com/f12/bidswap-com-667/ http://pennyauctionscore.com/review/bidswap-com/
I was ripped off by one of these penny auction sites. They are complete scams. You spend money to bid on an item, and you don't even know whether other people are really bidding. Who knows if the items actually exist, and are going to be sent to you? I know I didn't win anything. Ebay is the only legitimate company I know of. These penny auctions are just a scam, don't expect to actually win an item.
