Never received book or any notice past the initial purchase confirmation, when asked for an update I was informed that I would be getting a refund because the item was not in stock. Keep in mind this is all while the product is still visible on the website for sale. The question you have to ask yourself, is how many active refunds are in motion due to this lack of accountability. Unless you want to waste your time and money, look elsewhere..

Was misled in thinking this site actually had the book for sale that I was looking for. I should have known better since they clearly did not have it in stock, and probably haven’t had it in stock for many years, considering the item..

If you find a book that you can't seem to find at all or can't find affordably anywhere else, it's probably because it really isn't available. This is one of those weird laundering sites that just leaves items up for sale even though they clearly don't have them in stock...or even plan to get them in stock. I was literally speaking to one of their "representatives" as they explained that the item is unavailable...while simultaneously seeing the item still for sale on the site. No follow up email or anything after the initial order confirmation email, even after sending them a request through their contact link for an update...still had to use the lousy chat only to find out it was not available that way. Absolutely avoid this site unless you want your time wasted and your money floating in the ether for a few weeks!

I attempted to order a textbook through bigger books as it was the cheapest price. I paid for expedited shipping so I could receive the book in time. However, they decided to cancel the order and not send some sort of email or notice informing me that they canceled the order. No reason was given, just simply a cancellation. I only figured it out after I was wondering where my book was. I received a confirmation email saying they will send an email when it was shipped. I had to thoroughly dig to find out it was cancelled. I would never buy from this site even if their textbook was half the price of the next cheapest one.

On 12/22/21, I used bookscouter to price compare an ebook. I had the buy option selected, and the cheapest price belonged to biggerbooks. I clicked buy, and it took me to the shopping cart in biggerbooks. I checked out and nowhere did it say this was a rental (see attached). I called biggerbooks to ask for a refund or an $8 price match. Initially, they refused to do either.
Update: on 12/28/21, a biggerbooks social media specialist saw this review and apologized explaining the prior customer service rep did not fully understand their return policy. She refunded my entire amount.
I would be happy to purchase from here again.

Ordered a book set, waited for email for shipping confirmation, used their chat (chatted with *) to ask for an order status, and was told it was cancelled (not by me) without any explanation other than security.
Bigger Books is quick to take my money when I placed my order but was told that my refund would take 5 days to process. What a crock of $#*!.

I received my text book almost two weeks after the expected shipping date, so I returned it. I try to support businesses other the Amazon. I was willing to wait for the book, but I needed it for a class and companies also need to do their part and get shipments out as promised.
I was given free shipping and not charged a restocking fee because my book arrived so late. I was very happy with that outcome.

Love the options of how long to rent for and also shipping estimates depending on how quick one wants their books. My book shipping turned out late and so in the end I cancelled.
It provided the option to RENT books!
Experience = poor. Book ordered was not sent. The End.

EBooks are awesome for textbooks bc it's easier to find information (which is handy for assignments and open book exams). Delivery was quick and the site used to read the book seems good. And it was a lot cheaper. Definitely pleased.
I read it was a legit website and not a scam, and the price was right.

This order was cancelled by BiggerBooks with no explanation. I have reached out several times to get an explanation, but they do not bother to reply. Customer communication and satisfaction is very poor.
I have received no response to my multiple emails to customer service. They have cancelled my order and completely ignored me.
I chose them because they were the only non-foreign website that has stock of the item I was searching for. So I thought they would be more trustworthy. I was wrong.
I chose the product because I have been searching for it a while and most places do not have any stock left.

The oversized cardboard wrapping caused the mail carrier to bend the product.
Next time, I wish more size-appropriate packaging would be used.

Efficient process and quick shipment. They had the book in stock when other sites were back ordered for weeks.
The title on the spine is Camp-March Stories of the Santa Fe Trail by Wilson and Taulor.
There is slight wear on the spine, but about 1/3 of the pages had never been cut apart by the binder. The inside of the book is in never-read condition. I used a sharp knife to separate them, and the result is I cannot tell the pages a separated from the ones cut by the binder. The shipment arrived several days before I expected it.
Although this book was originally printed in 1847 and was reprinted in 1936 and again in 2008, I found only this copy and two of the 2008 edition currently available, and the other two were both in Europe.
I am researching a specific wagon train that travelled the Santa Fe Trail in the early 1840s, and I believe this author, Wilson, was part of that group of people.

I ordered the printed version of this book as the university already provided me with a free digital copy. The site had it listed as such and the price difference for the print was even higher than the digital versions. They sent me the digital copy anyway! I will be sending it back and am so disappointed they wasted my time and money.
