This is the second time calling for assistance and it was great/ your tech support also helping my developers solve the problem. It took some time but we got it resolved. I had Bluehost when if fist launched my website, and for reasons I can't figure out why SEO team decided to move my newly develop site. But it did happen!. Anyway, I'm glad to be back and looking for long and lasting relationship.
Bluehost has worked well for me. A web designer once told me that Bluehost was unstable and he refused to help me with some coding because I was using it for hosting. But I haven't found that to be true. Seems solid. I've also enjoyed one of your webinars and the customer service there is very good. Just wish it was a bit cheaper. I scored you a 4 (because I rarely give top stars), but that 4 should really be a 4.5. You're doing a great job.
My website (a basic CV-style site) itself barely functioned, running slower and slower, while Bluehost kept sharply hiking fees year after year. The final straw was when they denied my request to turn off auto-renew. They suddenly charged me $700 and said they could not issue a refund when I spotted the transaction just days later. Terrible, useless service with price-gouging tactics. DO NOT USE BLUEHOST.

Helpful, quality service and reliable hosting. Grateful for Bluehost and it's wide variety of product offerings. It keeps everything simple- all in one location.
Customer service took 5 days to fix the issue but they did their best, and we had to be real patient on both sides
To help progress in my marketing business
Had a hosting lapse and Jay helped me get back up and running immediately. His service was excellent.
I've had so many problem with this hosting company, find a different one. My site disappeared three times, the last time I couldn't get it back for a number if days, when it was finally restored (though not from backup) all the styling and features were messed up. Also anybody who tries to open a site hosted by Bluehost who has Avast antivirus gets blocked with a 'Blacklist URL'. They have a conflict with Avast apparently. Also it's pretty slow for the price you're paying.
New customer trying to create a blog site for my company and your CMS is crashing constantly. VERY, VERY UPSET
I am asking myself that... WHY?
When I signed up with Bluehost, several years ago, it was a pretty reliable company. As time goes by, however, the quality has been gradually lost. Personally, I have a main website and a few AddOn domains. One of the subdomains (arantrufusa.com) is a sales site using eCommerce. Lately, I've been scratching my head because I get up to 10 downtime reports per day from that site. I have already contacted Bluehost about three or four times in the last month (I don't have time to check every single site on every occurrence but I assume it gets extensive to my other domains because they are all under the same IP). Generally, the representatives are friendly and respond relatively quickly. However, they seem to be trained to give encapsulated answers without actually reviewing the problem. Anyway, they have already told me several times that admins are going to check what is going on with the server but, so far, everything remains the same and worse. I believe it's time to try another provider.
Customer service is very good, and attendance is quick on behalf of representatives. Great quality. And, also, highly respectful. Additionally, all representatives, in my experience, have been highly knowledgeable regarding the questions and subjects I've brought up.
It was recommended as being a high quality service.
Because they look appealing for the consumer market.
This is the first time I have attempted to write/learn about website construction. It is scary but fun.
WordPress recommended Bluehost, so I thought it might be easier to learn web design on my own. With a little assistance from your Help Desk.
Something like setting up a domain and connecting it with google workspace should be a 10 min. Thing. After four support requests, and 3+ hours, we are playing ping-pong with support. Just go to a better, mature platform.
What's worst - my repeated requests for chat transcripts were ignored, and the support rep on the chat "ran away" closing the support chat on me. I have downgraded this organization to 1-star.
Tip for consumers:
Stay away!

It's been pretty good to me over the years bluehost in general and ease of domain purchases and email usage
I came form namecheap so my expectations were very low I was expecting to be confused and end up with problems like having 3 trials for wordpess creation but this has been so easy and responsive. I've not had to ask customer support for anything so far as all of my questions have had clear documentation or youtube videos or skill share lessons to walk me through I spend so much less time wondering and more time creating here.
Because it easy and responsive.
This is my 3rd time logging in and spending over an hour building my new website. So far, I have nothing because every time I navigate away from the home page I'm building, it doesn't get saved. I don't know why. All I know is, this is a complete waste of time. However, I know me. If I keep trying, I'll get it right. Just can't give it good stars when it's so difficult. Are the creators of Geocities dead? Maybe todays code writers could contact them for lessons.
Someone suggested it. I can't remember who. I was all over the www researching suitable hosts who could give me the basic things I need.
I can not express enough gratitude for the level of service I received from Nathan today. I was concerned bout loosing my website when I was changing the name of my website that I purchased. Nathan fully empathized with me, calmed me down by explaining all the steps that he would take in non technical terms, and was on top of his game. He worked on a lightening speed as he was super confident due to hi level of competency (top notch) an in less than ten minutes, the service was delivered in a glittering box of courtesy, humbleness, competency and super efficiency. I had interacted with Blue host support associates in the past as well and while all were really good, Nathan truly surpassed all of them. Hats off to Bluehost managers for training and retaining such top notch talent. I would seriously recommend Nathan to be given a due recognition by his managers. I can be contacted through the email that is registered in my Bluehost account. THANKYOU NATHAN YOU ROCK BRO!
So easy from doing things on my own, following tutorials, and when I get stuck, customer service has been excellent and more importantly non-judgemental!
Nothing specifically negative or positive to note. Site setup seems more complicated than necessary, with conflicting messages given in host portal versus site itself, and incompatibility between plugins needed for site features.
Legacy (decision by previous job occupant)
I needed help today and *******@bluehost.com (Thomas) was able to provide excellent service and he has so much patience in helping me with my login, etc.
I have had this account for awhile, but just recently was unable to log in. I was able to do so today with Thomas' help -- you're the bomb Thomas!
Support service will only verify that a server-side account exists, but there is no assistance with WordPress which is part of the package I purchased. The support Tech I talked to kept trying to sell me another development package which was over a hundred a month. If you are going to provide web hosting and 24/7 support, you need to be more specific on just you can do in so far as support. I have a domain name but cannot modify the site. Not good there for the low rating.
Because it offered a 20-minute setup with help. So far, I have spent over 5 hours trying to make my site presentable.
I'll solidify my opinion once I've had a chance to use the service for a month or two.
Online recommendations.
I hate these popups, they are everywhere, you keep asking for ratings when I have used a feature once or not at all, and I just want to work on my site. On top of that, even though I've already purchased things, I have to click through a full-page ad every day after login. I used this site only a few years back and it was great. I probably would have sought another service if I'd realized how unusable it had become. This is beyond aggravating!
It's easy to get a nice-looking website online with very little time, so I can spend more time creating content to post instead of worrying about web design. Very user friendly. The only thing I don't like is how much it costs to renew after the initial great price.
At the time I signed up it was a great price and it's easy to use, so I will probably continue to use it.
Always helpful and get my problems solved on the first call. One of the main reasons I stick with you all.
Great service. Anoyning message. Im just rating so I can continue onto the page. I recommend not doing this or assigning ratings to any metrics. I would imagine your success be measured by your customer base and not a rating. SOrry for hte rant, but seriously, everyone wants a review all the time. Sheeesh.
Because I have to fix my website. I'm trying to crate a new page by duplicating a current page in divi. I've done it a million times, but now I can't. Divi wants me to tell you: The encountered problems could be server-related:
What that means is there's a GZIP encoded content. Can you please ask your web host to disable GZIP compression and let me know if it helps?
Fix this and I; ll be happy.
As a fairly novice web site designer / publisher the site is high end but approachable and customer service is excellent.
I recently deleted a page by mistake and their live chat agent helped me fix the problem very easily.
-My billing is always kinda a mess. Getting charged before the date, getting multiple notifications that indicate that a bill is overdue or due when it isn't.
-All of the emails register as suspicious from our addresses from here.
-When logging in all employees get a message that they are about to enter a suspicious site which looks bad on us.
-I have to click through that ad for upping my security every single time I log in. That's just way too much.
The company had it when I bought it and it seems hard to move.
