I have made several orders on this website and have spent a large amount on body jewelry. I haven't been disappointed once, my orders are always quick to arrive, never taking more than a week and a half from order to delivery. They have a wide selection and I have been pleased with everything purchased. I have ordered probably around 80 pairs of stretched lobe jewelry from them and 15 pieces for my other piercings, a lot of stone, titanium, and glass pieces. Everything has been beautiful, came wonderfully and safely packaged, and nice quality.

I'm sad to say that I do not recommend bodyartforms for fine jewelry. I bought an internally threaded solid white gold end and within 10 months, one of the prongs holding in the CZ completely snapped off. Also to note, I only wear solid gold jewelry (due to skin sensitivities) and have never had an issue with something breaking before, let alone in only 10 months of owning. So, I messaged BAF, hoping to get this resolved. They told me that repairs are FREE, however shipping this extremely small jewelry end was going to cost me a whopping $20, and that's not including insurance on the package! That's almost half of what I paid for it. Low quality, breaks within months, and expensive to get fixed. Not worth it.

Bought a paid of gauges described as "AAA Labradorite," the image shows a bright green pair gauges with light shining through them and swirls of other colors, all that. They looked really cool and I figured for $130 they outta be legit. I understand variations in stone jewelry and I know you're not going to get the EXACT same pair you see in the pictures, but when they arrived they were completely different. I understand I made a mistake taking them out of the package, that's on me for not reading the return policy until after I did that. The part that bothers me is how unlike the picture I saw of what I thought they were supposed to be. Then when I tried to contact them they never responded. Overall, I don't think they're a bad business they just need to be more forthcoming about what their products actually look like. Maybe provide multiple images of different pairs, not just showcase one pair because it looks the best.

Tip for consumers:
Stick to buying steel gauges or ones that will forsure look like the product you intend to purchase. All stone jewelry will look a little different from the one you saw in the picture.

My household and I have spent hundreds of dollars with BodyArtForm, and we were generally happy about the first couple of orders. It's a little tricky with returning, essentially if you open a sealed bag, you can't return it. This would be okay if each item was individually wrapped, but a few orders in, most were put in the same bag, so if we opened them, there was no returning whether they fit or not. We understood this policy, even if it's very inconvenient for customers. What we really had an issue with happened after a bunch of orders and was very unexpected. We received a piece of jewelry that was clearly written in the description of the page that it was solid gold. I have never had an issue with any jewelry causing infections in my piercing, and I've had the piercing over a decade so it's not new and healing. The ring caused a massive infection around my piercing, causing lots of pain, discharge, etc. I had to go to the doctor to get medicine to help it heal, and even with that, it took well over a month for the area to heal and get back to normal, though now there was scarring in and around the piercing. I was told by my doctor that this piece was obviously not solid gold like it had been described on the item page. I contacted BodyArtForms to explain what happened. I wasn't even asking for compensation for cost of the doctor and infection, literally just asking for a refund because it was carelessly misrepresented as being something it was not, and I suffered the consequences of that. Instead of being understanding, and doing an exchange for the item, like any reasonable person or company, they decided it was a better choice to blame me for not reading and understanding the description of the item, and that they would absolutely not exchange or return the item because, to them, this was somehow my fault. What a terrible way to respond to a customer that had a bad issue with your product, and just a pos way of handling this by blaming me and refusing to help at all. Once again, I was not asking for compensation for the infection, that ended up costing me hundreds of dollars to deal with, with the doctor's visit and medication, along with the huge amount of pain and swelling that their mislabeled product caused. I am not a person who typically leaves negative reviews for companies, but I decided to because, months later, I am still very frustrated and angry with how they decided to 'not' deal with this issue. More importantly, I don't want other customers to have to experience what I did with them, it was simply an atrocious way to deal with a loyal customer and frankly, they don't deserve anyone's business with reprehensible behavior like this. Please, please, please, do yourself a favor and buy your piercing jewelry from someone else, either in person at a small store, or online supporting companies that actually deserve your loyalty. No one should be treated like this by any sore selling any product, so please take my warning to heart, and save yourself the stress and potential real pain of dealing with BodyArtForms!

Tip for consumers:
Do not purchase from them. Literally find any other site to buy from.

Earrings, but we stopped using nearly everything we purchased (hundreds of dollars if not over $1000 from them because of what happened.

I ordered 10 items and autoclave service. They sent everything in one sealed bag which if you open, it's going to make everything un-returnable.
Their website leads you to believe that you can opt to open a bag if the item seems to be the right size or return it for free.
So I can't open the bag cause I ordered multiple sizes plus I can't tell which item is made of titanium and which is made of steel. They want me to return the items on my own dime plus they will add an additional cost to shipping any items I have chosen to keep (if i was able to select something from this bag) after I return it to them.

I really want to urge you to buy from somewhere else because even after expressing all those concerns, they don't seem to care.

Don't support such businesses that don't care about customers.

I ordered size 8 gages that were supposed to be abalone. When I got them I could not get them out of the zip lock without breaking the heat seal; to see that they were not at all abalone and also too small to be size 8 gage. When I emailed them to return the item they said I could not because the heat seal on the zip lock was broken. Feel tottaly set up.

Don't.

I've been purchasing from them for years with great success but this last year things have gone downhill. They now take months to resolve issues (six months later and I'm still waiting for a replacement on a purchase) and have rejected negative reviews on products that I've left. Won't trust them with my business anymore.

Been ordering from them for literal years, never had a bad experience with them. Some jewelry has been lower quality than expected (cheap jewelry that's. Cheap. Duh), although most has far surpassed my expectations. And it's not like they're sitting there making the jewelry before they send it out, so, keep that in mind. The selection is *chefs kiss* magnifique, almost too good because I always manage to see One More Thing after telling myself I'm gonna place my order and be done. Pricing is good. They are quite on top of customer service and pleasant to work with. I gave a poor review of a disappointing piece of jewelry from within their site (a dirt cheap tongue ring so I didn't care that it sucked, just wanted to warn others!) and they credited me the 1 or 2 bucks that it cost without me asking. Nice! Shipping is always super fast. It's honestly so awesome, I love this site to death. By the way- many people here seem pissed about things shipping in one bag, so just a heads up, that's an option that you can toggle on or off at checkout!

I really like Body Art Forms because they listed all of the information about each product right under the picture. Each item lists what material it is made of and you can click the material to read more about it. That's super important to me since I have very sensitive skin and can't wear a lot of metals. It is hard to find that same info on other sites. Also, another reviewer said you can find the same stuff on Amazon. Amazon is a crap shoot. You have no idea what kind of metal you are getting or if the item is genuine. If you don't have sensitive skin, by all means go somewhere cheaper, but if you do, this is a good site for you.

I have had some good experiences ordering jewelry from Body Art Forms. I bought two earrings and threadless nose stud and had no issues. However, I have only had the most expensive products I bought, these barbells, since Christmas, and the gem has fallen out nearly five months later.

Found the same items on amazon for a cheaper price. It's all bulk jewellery from China. My package was supposedly shipped 3 days ago. I payed for 2 day shipping. USPS still says its awaiting my package. I could have ordered the same stuff on amazon and got next day shipping.

I ordered nipple bar jewelery from bodyartforms on June 1st, 2017, it's now August 6th and it still hasn't arrived. To be fair, they did email me about 2 weeks after ordering to clarify the sizing for something (though really, 2 weeks just to take a first look at the order?) But holy cow. It's been over three MONTHS. They didn't even send the shipping confirmation until July 21st! And this was over 100$ order for two little nipple bars. To say that I'm frustrated is an understatement. When, and if, it finally arrived I really hope the quality is up to par, it better be after a wait like this.

It's hard to say for sure without an invoice #, but my best guess is that you ordered a "Pre-Order" item. They are marked on the site as such and also the wait times involved are displayed on the item page. These are always custom made to order items which is why the average wait time including shipping back and forth is 2-3 months. We send in your order directly to the manufacturer, they make it, send it to us, and then we QC and send it to you. Pre-Order items make up a very small percentage of our products and are always at the very end of the product listings.

I've ordered there about 4 times over a few years and I'm really happy with them but I understand why some people would not be.

They have a very wide selection of jewelry. Some of which are really high quality like neometal for example and some of which are cheap crap.
I personally wouldn't buy the cheap crap but I'm very happy for the premium brands like neometal on there because it's really hard to get quality jewelry in my area and they ship worldwide.

Big + for the customer service. Since I don't live in America, I would have to pay a lot of shipping and customs to send something back. Luckily they just resend stuff if you even mention some small thing being not perfect in a review on their site. Resending also doesn't work for me because of the customs so I messaged them and they just refunded it without me needing to send anything back for small imperfections.

You really need to know what to look for if your body is sensitive but they make the good stuff accessible to everyone.

Tip for consumers:
Educate yourself on the good brands they offer before just buying anything they have. They stock both top quality but also cheap crap.

I came to their website through recommendation from people from a piercing forum, since my jewelries are titanium but not that high quality, thus making the healing process take too long.

I have ordered many times now and the quality is A+. The customer service is always really good as well, and Melissa has been a great help besides being professional and kind.

I do recommend this store. Super happy with the experience so far :)

If you want to order great body jewelry... fabulous selection and also great customer service... you need to order from here. The site was started by 2 sisters and you can tell that they are totally invested in their business... everyone from the people who pick your orders to customer service reps are fabulous and stands by their work.

-I have ordered everything from the cheaper end to items over 150$ and everything is always of a fabulous quality.
-They stand by their items
-They have good brands! Anatometal, Industrial Strength, TAWAPA, Maya...
-If it is a final sale it states it clearly on the product item
-The site is easy to navigate and easy to find what you are looking for.
-A lot of sizes! I'm a 0g and I can always find pieces I need.
-You get some free items when your order reaches a certain amount... free o rings... all kinds of good stuff.

Come here you will never need to shop anywhere else again.

I have ordered from BodyArtForms quite a few times and I've always had very good experiences. My girlfriend and I both have stretched ears and generally order our plugs from them. Because our orders were always correct and delivered promptly I cannot comment on their customer service, since I have never had the need to return or exchange items.

After a horrible experience with piercing jewelry I purchased from BodyCandy.com, I decided to try Body Art Forms. I read good things about them from various reviews. I have to say that there's absolutely nothing to complain about. I purchased a titanium tongue barbell and 2 labrets. I've had the tongue ring in since August, and I have no complaints! It's kind of relieving after a bad shopping experience with another piercing jewelry company, that Body Art Forms actually tells you everything! If you're apprehensive about these unreliable companies such as BodyCandy or Painful Pleasures, go to Body Art Forms. What's great about them is that their descriptions tell you exactly what you're getting. If you opt for cheaper jewelry, they'll tell you that the color will fade, but they seem to stand by their products 100% and I have yet to experience anything to tell me otherwise.

Tip for consumers:
Some of their products are pretty expensive, but from what I've experienced so far is that they sell quality pieces! I have yet to buy anything above $10 though.

I love Body Art Forms. I have been purchasing from them since 2007. I have purchased everything from o-rings to dangling styles to earskins. Rings, bracelets, clothing. Stainless steel, glass, acrylic, silicone, horn, bone, titanium, stone(s). Everything has been amazing quality. This is a female owned and operated business. Support is amazing. I needed help finding replacement beads for 8g hoops, the support person looked up my old order, and found the size of the bead I needed!
The shipping it quick, and simple. With multiple options for shipping. They also have so much information for beginners, novice, etc. to get you what you need to get to your next size, or your next piece of jewelry.
