Budscarwash

I've been using this place for a couple years now, as there aren't very many self wash places in the Mankato area. I've lived in many places in my life and have seen plenty of self service washes and I must say this place is probably one of the worst. Literally 1 bay out of 4 that work properly. One's had cones in front of it for months. The other two have doors that won't even shut so you have to freeze your a** off washing your car. Owner is too cheap to fix them. Mud all over the bays from his little country boy buddies washing their trucks, although the sign clearly says "no muddy trucks". It also says, "no working on cars", but I've seen everything from guys painting their cars there, to people doing antifreeze flushes, and full-blown engine repairs. Trash everywhere. But then he has the audacity to curse at me (paying customer btw) and say, "don't work on your f***ing car here". First of all "smart one", changing a light bulb doesn't qualify as "working on a car", nor does it do anything at all to deface or vandalize your property. Secondly, as a small business owner myself, I know that customer service is key! This guy has absolutely no respect for his customers. I have three vehicles that I wash there regularly, so I'm giving him $30-40 worth of business every week. He could have handled that situation much more professionally, however, it clearly shows he doesn't give a rats a** about his customers or his business. Word of advice for the owner: learn how to treat customers before trying to run a business, the goal is to gain customers, not lose them. Probably can barely afford to keep the place running otherwise he would of cleaned it up a bit, along with his mouth, and changed the 3 broken doors. People, take your money elsewhere. Read all the reviews, most of them are negative. If more than one person is constantly saying the same thing, its probably got truth to it. Look him up online, nothing but failing businesses. It's all public information, all of his businesses are going under. The PPP loan couldn't even save him. Go to star street wash lol. You'll pay a little more, but at least its worth it.
