There so bad there charging 50.00 for a year of there picks for every sport. Think about that, it's less than a dollar a day. The problem you're going to think there going to pick winners and your going to get 20 to 30 picks a week, many times picks on both sides of a game. You will go nuts trying to decide what team or handicapper to go with. You will lose money and then find out it's hard to cancel there garbage subscription. Do yourself a favor, bet what you can afford to lose, study and make your own picks. Congratulate yourself on winning weeks and blame yourself when you lose. If your good you'll become that 1 in a thousand that ends up in Las Vegas in a condo with a bank of tv's watching games and making a living betting sports. If not you'll be working for a living, and betting within your means and hopefully losing a small amount of money but otherwise enjoying your self. Stay away from all tout services. Remember the few that can consistently pick winners are in there Vegas condo not sending there picks to a tout service like CBS Sports for a couple hundred a week.
I have a lot of thoughts about Sportsline. I'll start with the few good things the site does. First, the price is decent, only if you get the promo price of $35/year—especially considering Vegas Insider charges $200/week. The amount of data you get for $2.92/month is probably the only redeeming quality of this site. Second, while most of the experts are atrocious, there are 3-4 that actually seem to care or know what they're doing. Now for the bad. The site tracks win-loss and not profitability. The site cherrypicks records—there's zero chance all "40 experts" are profitable. The "analysis" for 90% of the "experts" is brutally bad. I won't touch on its "advanced computer model" because it's terrible. I also won't touch on the apparently egregious billing problems other people seem to have because I haven't had that experience. I was actually notified my subscription was expiring/did expire, and I still had access to the site for another 2 weeks. The site preys on people who have no idea what they're doing. All that said, I still use the site—I just make a new account each year to get the "promo." You truly can't beat the $2.92/month price if you use the site purely as a reference point, figure out which "experts" are legit, and actually analyze the "expert analyses." You could probably make more money fading most of the picks. In sum, if you decide to purchase a Sportsline subscription, (1) buy a Visa vanilla gift card, (2) make a new account to get the actual price, and (3) absolutely do not rely solely on the site to be profitable.
Don't trust this service. I had a trial with the right to cancel in April. I cancelled because I'm not a gambler. Didn't get billed for 2 months. Suddenly they started billing me again in July. I should have caught it but didn't until last month. They said I signed up. I didn't. They just started billing again. I wanted at least a refund for last month and they said no because I had access to their service. But I never logged in again after April and don't even know my username or password. Never used their service again. It's only $50.00 billed over 5 months but they are total cheats. I filed a dispute and my CC company denied my dispute because this company sent them a slip of paper showing they got an ok from AMEX. But I never authorized anything.

Only their sportsline for 1 month or less but was billed for 5 months
Stay as far away as possible from this company. They charged me $99 on my credit card fraudulently. And when I requested a refund within 7 days of the subscription, they refused stating that it is not cancelable. Even the customer service rep if the company agreed with me that it is an unethical practice.
Tip for consumers:
Stay as far away as possible from this company.

Sports line.com is terrible - their NFL "A" picks have lost 4 out of 5 - Your better off flipping a coin than paying for a membership to this site. A bunch of VEGAS wana bees/ has beens -
Fraudulent. Don't believe their phony puffed up records. Just keep track a little and see what liars they are. Buy yourself a dartboard.
Tip for consumers:
Don't take it too seriously.

Tried to cancel unwanted service, they refused to refund charge immediately after charge. STAY FAR AWAY
Someone (not me) set up an account. I got charged. They still have not answered how they got my account number. The person on the phone who was a "supervisor" and I say that term very very loosely could not handle someone getting up set because they stole my money but would not refund it. Hint: if you can take the money out you sure as hell can put it back in! Go to your bank was the response which I absolutely plan to do. RUN FAR FAR FAR AWAY! I don't know anything about them as all I do know is they took money out of my account without permission. Then got mad when I said it is f***ing ridiculous. This was answered like a person talking to a five year old because even though it was not at her she couldn't handle nor figure out appropriate response to someone being upset. Having never used them and never wanting to use them this does not do anything to help their creditability or customer service. I find it ironic that I am a "paying", (again they stole from me so I say this term loosely) customer but they did nothing to try to even keep me just go to your bank. It also took me about four times of calling before I was able to get a hold of anyone, yet apparently being frustrated was just to much. Ridiculous and in fact doesn't make me want to do anything with them. Seriously run far far away!
Amateurs. Do not buy access if you are from Poland and do not have a VPN. Their website is not working. They don't warn you about this before you buy. Reporting to support does nothing. They screw customers. Despite many requests, I was not refunded.
Someone set up a fraudulent account in my name and they have been billing me for 2 years! IMy CC company keeps writing off the charges but i cant get a response - sat on the phone for 10 minutes multiple times (the call disconnects after 10 min - how appropriate for them)... sent multiple emails - no answer. Terrible!
I have been playing their picks for a few weeks and they suck. I have lost $50. Honestly, would have been better off just picking the opposite of what they say. Their hockey picks are terrible, NBA picks suck, and CBB picks are a joke. Don't even think about checking out their golf or MMA garbage. The only winning quality is how hilarious it is to read the writeup's of their picks to see just how many things they can get wrong.
Their reviews are subpar, and their user interface is really outdated. When they get you to subscribe, they put you on auto resub, and then don't offer any automated way to unsub. I sat on the phone for 30 mins, finally got through to someone and asked to unsubscribe. They said that I was, and then billed me next quarter anyway. When I wrote an email to complain they said that they could cancel my account but would not refund me the most recent "payment". What a crock.
Joined at 10 am. Saw their optimizer and called them at 10:45 to cancel Was told no refunds and the guy sorta chuckled when I asked for a manager. LOL. Mngr will call me and discus issue FAT CHANCE. What a waste off $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$4444
$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
I'm currently on hold attempting to cancel my membership, which may or may not even be possible. Unlike basically every other site in the world, you can't cancel online. This is the third time I've tried in the last two days, the last two times I've waited on hold for a half hour before being informed that there are no agents to assist me and I should try again later. I'm at the point of cancelling my credit card, even though that's a huge nuisance, rather than deal with this any more.
Don't sign up for any subscription service! They give you nothing and they pull your money regardless and use the name and number of other company's on your credit card statements Fantatics etc. FINALLY GOT A HUMAN ON PHONE AND HE WAS USELESS AND OFFERED NO REFUND DESPITE MY CANCELLATION ALMOST A YEAR AGO!
The $9.99 'trial subscription' is a complete fraud. It never ends. You can't cancel it on the website, over email, only by phone, but they never pick up the phone (after 30-45min on hold they say to hang up). The only way to stop it is to call your credit card company, alert them of the fraud. They will place a STOP on the charges (without having to cancel your card) and should also refund you for past charges (if you call them early on in the scam, don't wait six months).
As many others have said, Sportsline is absolute scum. They literally will not answer the phone if you try to call to cancel, will not acknowledge emails requesting cancellation, and even after placing a stop payment order with my bank Sportsline somehow managed to resubmit a charge to me. This company screams fraud and their laughable fantasy football picks left me next to last place in two leagues.
I have yet to hear re: my cancellation request-2 weeks now. And i am not going to pay a phone charge to do so. I will let my credit card company to not accept charges.
Cannot cancel on line must call, I did call the number listed in terms of use on my profile page Friday night before the day my subscription expired. They told me they could not find my account and gave me another number but this number was closed until Monday which now puts me over the expiration date. After a lengthy explanation on Monday with the manager they coud not do anything once the charge is made but charge me for another year and then cancel my account. I thought with CBS name on this sportsline would be a professional company. Not so! CBS should be embarrassed.
Absolutely the worst service ever. Paid for a full year and played Mike McClure's DFS picks every night and I don't know what's going to happen first, my account going to $0 or the end of the baseball season. On top of that, every night they spin some BS marketing tactic that makes it sound like they pick winners every night. They never acknowledge losses or admit slumps. I'm down so much money using Mike McClures picks he should issue a formal apology for his miserable 2019 season. Instead he keeps touting articles claiming to be an expert. To be called an "expert" is an absolute joke. I could pick better teams with a blind draw.
Besides giving advise that you would do just as well to flip a coin, they will not let you cancel online and I had the same experience trying to cancel like others on this site. I even cancelled my card and somehow they managed to get on the new one.
CBS Sports should be embarrassed to be associated with this terrible company.
I called to cancel my subscription. The guy offered me free time until November. I said I don't look at the website Dude. He said don't call me dude and hung up on me. This site is a money pit.
Everything everyone else has said is true. Do not sign up! It's impossible to cancel. They give you a number to call but no one ever answers. And when you try to do it by email, they refuse to delete your account. Had to go through my CC company to avoid this company charging my card. This website is trash. STAY AWAY!
Was told I had to cancel by May 1 to avoid automatic charge. Was charged on May 1. Contacted them on the same day, explained that I wanted to restart my subscription in a few months, asked for a concession/refund of $25 and after multiple back-and-forths they continued to refuse. Short-sighted and stupid. Avoid.
I made this account just to do my best to put them out of business
Dont answer phone, phone hours limited. No refunds
Absolute trash. Fraud. I subscribed a month and got billed 3
