I was banned "forever" for "trolling" after posting a calm, fact-filled rebuttal on one of many ignorant fascist threads full of disinformation, hate, violent ideology etc. that this forum is overflowing with.

This site should be shut down and its owners held accountable. It is a large site and they are promoting Nazi rhetoric while shutting down truth and facts. This sort of thing is very dangerous to our democracy and should be investigated immediately.

Just saying that the mods on this particular site tend to be very biased, though of course not all of them are. That being said, the whole "free speech" idea is definitely not upheld on that particular site. I mean, that's OK I guess but it doesn't work well for me personally.

It's a huge breather from the left wing thought narrative and allows both sides to speak. The left often try to troll the right but get quickly called out and they foam at the mouths as the reviews below they say 'Right wing Nazi's' without knowing that the Nazi's were left wing socialists. Hell the Nazi symbol is about socialism!

TDS is a very real disease that needs to be addressed or we will have a massive reset.

Had not been to City-Data Forums in months--as it is heavy right-wingers. The owner has tweets scrolling down the side and they are hard core rightwing comments--very uncomfortable like someone is looking over your shoulder lecturing you on how to think. The entire experience feels pretty fascistic these days. The users are generally childish--project a lower level of intelligence and post all kinds of conspiracies as fact--the rules are ok with that. Tell the truth about Trump and you receive an infraction. They find rules to hit you with if your comment is too liberal--rules that are certainly not applied evenly. You will not find much in the way of productive discussions.
