Been using CoFoundersLab now for a couple of years. Recently got involved in their accelerator program and absolutely loving the new leadership there. Amazing mentors there like Steve and Seanie! Excited to see where things go!
I purchased their premium account. They disabled me without any communication within 2 days. I tried raising complaint via phone, email, website and messenger, they never responded. I doubt they are genuine people. For two days (when it was working), I tried connecting with about 50 people for my startup, I still got zero responses or zero views in my profile which isn't possible unless its all fake.

Dead company, takes card details for trial but offers no way to cancel and doesn't respond to emails. Really evil old school scam type company.
Tip for consumers:
No way to cancel and no response from customer service. Sham company that steals your money.

Complete disregard for ethical business practices. No reminder on monthly bill cycles. They hide and disable their cancellation link and then when they provide a working link they throw up a series of steps (obstacles) to actually accomplish the cancellation.
I upgraded to premium, paid for 6 months and never received it. Months have gone by and I've tried just about everything to contact them but I never get a response.
I'm not the only one who has this issue. It actually seems to be very common for them.
It's had to believe that companies operate like this.
Tip for consumers:
Find another site. There's so many out there these days for finding cofounders.
I have been on CoFounderLab for over a year now and it definitely had some buggy issues, but it seems they have new owners with anew vision. The site has been updated but still has room for improvement. I found my cofounder and also 2 other team members on there so my experience has been good. I agree that they need to change the filter for searching on the free part
Tip for consumers:
Try reaching out to lot's of people

No one is active on the site, and the premium cancellation just doesn't work. Users will need to submit a form to request cancellation. What kind of bull$#*! is this. Don't waste your time guys.
At one time, the site wasn't bad, but they decided to upgrade it and they managed to break the most important part of the system: connecting with other cofounders. It's been like that for at least the last year. I thought maybe the problem was that I was using the free account, but I tried the premium and it was even worse. They pretend to have support with a response of "how can I help", but no one will respond after that. I requested a refund and never heard back from them.
Tip for consumers:
Don't pay for premium. Messaging will stop working and there are no refunds.
Used it for a while with no results people are inactive, the app lags it feels abandoned. The free functions after limited as mentioned in other reviews
Use the site for free for a VERY limited period of time, then it locks you out until you pay an extortionate fee. Also most of the posts are people from foreign countries who aren't founders- but are trying to scam you or obtain work for their agencies. AVOID. Total waste of time/scam
Tip for consumers:
Avoid it like the plague
The reason you go on the website is to find a cofounder right? Well since the find a cofounder feature is terrible, there is almost no point. It is difficult to quickly browse cofounders as their profiles do not have important information at a glance. You must open the profile in a new tab to see anything useful. 90% of the profiles are inactive, and there is no way to sort by active profiles.
The service I paid for a about a year had no merit whatsoever. The advisory board is 90% unavailable and the co-founder matching system is inefficient. When I tried to cancel my membership I was redirected to a form to submit a request which I found very odd. I waited for 4 months. No one ever bothered to respond. The contact page on the website was broken. The phone number always went on the voice mail. I even reached out through their FB page leaving a PM and comment on the page. The comment was removed right away but again they did not bother to respond to the PM. And this was when I was still getting charged. Finally, I figured out how to cancel via their website which was hidden in one of the tabs.
I'm writing this review because of the ignorance the business has towards their customer. The rest I'm sure can improve over time but this experience was undeniably very disappointing.
Tip for consumers:
Do not sign up for the premium membership.

I'm a Pro member and have been very disappointed with the pool of technical co-founders along with the lackluster level of customer care. There is no hard-line vetting to filter out the "technical co-founders" who are actually just SOLICITING for your business.
EVERY single one I've talked to want to join my startup for a fee and equity, and they have a team of engineers, which after some digging, you realize it's a tech development firm! I already have an outsourced tech team for Phase One, that's why I'm on CoFoundersLab now: to find persons, unaffiliated to any tech service company, to co-found this startup for further development.
I brought this issue up with customer care, but the rep tells me to just mark the ones I talked to as "SPAM", they're aware of this pervasive issue, and they'll take action to remove or suspend the marked members.
Heck no, am I going to brand someone with whom I spoke for 30 minutes as "SPAM". That is tactless and dangerous to me. Sure, these "co-founder"s are mostly gimmick and falsehood, but I talked to them as people, vis-à-vis.
It would be too obvious (after we've exchanged emails and phone numbers) to them who is responsible for getting their account closed or suspended. Talk about subjecting me to potential stalker and trolling crazies. Not cool.
The website is terrible, when you want to cancel your account they ask you to fill in a form where you have to put the url of your profile which is nowhere to be found. A total scam.
Horrible experience with CoFoundersLab and sharing here to prevent others from falling victim to their fraud.
I signed up for "CoFounders Lab Launch" which was advertised to include premium membership to their site (similar to LinkedIn for founders giving you access to search & filter profiles).
I was never given access and reached out multiple times to their team to resolve the issue and cancel my membership (interacted with a gentleman by the name of Sean Walsh who responds to messages from their *******@cofounderslab.com inbox).
Despite paying $89, I did not receive premium membership to their site and they did not refund and did not cancel my subscription. I subsequently put a block through on my credit card. While I wasn't able to get the $89 back, it blocked subsequent transactions from CoFoundersLab.
Very disappointed in the lack of integrity and fraudulent practices of this organization.

I had a deeply disappointing experience with CoFoundersLab, and I feel compelled to share my story to prevent others from falling victim to their deceitful practices. Recently, I was charged an exorbitant $120 by CoFoundersLab for a service that was never delivered to me. What's even more disheartening is that my attempts to obtain a refund proved futile.
It is important to emphasize that CoFoundersLab failed to provide the promised service. Despite paying a substantial amount, I received nothing in return. This not only demonstrates their lack of integrity but also highlights their disregard for their customers' hard-earned money.
Furthermore, the inability to secure a refund was an incredibly frustrating experience. I reached out to their customer support team multiple times, explaining the situation and requesting a reimbursement. However, my concerns were met with indifference and an unwillingness to assist. Their unresponsiveness only added insult to injury and confirmed my suspicions that CoFoundersLab prioritizes profits over customer satisfaction.
I implore anyone considering using CoFoundersLab's services to exercise extreme caution. My personal encounter with them serves as a cautionary tale, warning others to steer clear of their deceptive tactics. It is crucial to thoroughly research and read reviews from multiple sources before engaging with any company, especially one as untrustworthy as CoFoundersLab.
In conclusion, CoFoundersLab's charging of $120 for an undelivered service, coupled with their refusal to provide a refund, showcases their fraudulent practices. I sincerely hope that my review serves as a deterrent, protecting others from falling victim to their scam. Stay vigilant and choose reputable alternatives to avoid the distress and financial loss I experienced with CoFoundersLab.

I didn’t use anything for the money I paid
The site was very poorly designed, implemented and is heavily bugged with no site adminstration.
The site messaging system is extremely basic and it's support is non-existent.
Overall It's an elaborate scamming ecosystem set by group of so called "investors" and "cofounders" whom initially will push sides interested fundraising /cofounding to subscribe to a premium account which charges 3x of what they advertise (with no monthly notifications or invoices) and then as you initiate interacting on the site messaging system - this flags you/ connects you to other scamming investors asking you to subscribe 30k USD$ for non-guaranteed introductions.
The attached printscreen shows no reply on the site over a 3 months timeline - a disgrace.
Please avoid at all costs providing your credit card details and beware they make it impossible unsubscribing from that "service".

I'm sorry to have to give a negative review for CoFounderslab, but I had a terrible experience with this platform.
Firstly, my trial period ended without any warning. I did not receive any notification that my trial period was ending, and as a result, I was charged the monthly subscription fee without my consent.
Secondly, I decided to cancel my subscription after this first bad experience, but I continued to be charged on my credit card. I sent several messages to CoFounderslab's customer service, but never received any response. This situation didn't caused significant financial discomfort but left me with a very poor impression of the service offered by CoFounderslab.
In conclusion, I DO NOT recommend CoFounderslab to anyone. The customer service is terrible and their billing system is equally bad. I hope this review can help others avoid a similar situation.
Co-founders lab is charging US $89 a month for something I do not use. I requested to delete my account over a month ago and they are still charging me. This is a disgrace.
I made the mistake of trying out the premium account for three months before I checked who was running the site. My fault for not doing my due diligence, so I'll eat that.
However, within a week or two of receiving messages from scammer profiles and seeing the lack of activity on the site, I cancelled my subscription.
I also took a screenshot of the 11-8-2021 cancellation acknowledgement because anybody with any character and integrity would have already shut down the billing system on this failed platform.
As I suspected, as of March 13,2022, my account is still active as a premium member.
I tried to go through the cancellation process again, but they've changed it and made it much more difficult to make it through the process. In addition, their in-platform communication system doesn't work, so you have to contact them through email.
If you look at the "team" behind the platform, you can start getting an idea of what's going on: https://cofounderslab.com/team
In fact, if you try to click on any of the "team" profiles, they come up blank; except for Joshua Wenner the lead hack of the platform.
While Wenner keeps his dead cofounderslab platform's billng system on, he's off on the "bearded veteran" kick offering "Emotional Resilience Training (ERT):" https://www.joshuamichaelwenner.com
Maybe Wenner thinks he came up with a new business model by generating, fraudulent, residual income off of dead platforms.

TOP TIP- CREATE A PROFILE, THEN SEARCH AS MUCH AS YOU CAN AND FIND THE PEOPLE YOU WANT TO CONNECT WITH DIRECTLY ON LINKEDIN then abandon cofounders lab. Total waste / scam.
