I ordered a jacket as a Christmas gift, it was too small so I returned it and bought a size larger. They returned the original jacket back to me saying the label was off or worn, but it wasn't. I sent them pictures showing the label is still on the jacket. Oscar from the support team was very helpful in helping me return the item for a second time. Good work Oscar!

Bought boots Black Friday weekend. They are absolutely comfortable and stylish, but already ripping. Barely lasting a month, and they still were not cheap. I've owned numerous Columbia products, with all success, and this is my first pair of shoes. Very upset I won't even be able to wear them in rain or snow. Makes me rethink Columbia purchases going forward.

Items are to ship five to seven business days. However you don't get your item in that time and you can't cancel. This company should be under investigation for class action lawsuit. Consumers should not have to deal with the unprofessional shenanigans. Customer service reps are scripted and useless.

Bought shoes for my son for Christmas. Less than 10 wears and they are falling apart. No worries, warranty covers them...but you have to pay to ship them back and then you ONLY get credit back. The process to even find out this is what you do, is ridiculous too...spent probably 10 hrs (added from multiple days) trying to get a clear answer on how to get a refund for shoes that were ordered and never arrived and then multiple chats on warranty and on hold at least 2 times. Different answers each time! Final person was like it is easy, you just print out the form, put order number in it and mail it to them...ON YOUR DIME for defective shoes! Not happy.

I returned a 187.00 coat to Columbia. They can see where UPS (their recommended carrier) now has possession of the package but is not forwarding it but will not help me or issue a refund. They are telling me it is my responsibility to research. I have talked to 3 levels of supervision with no remedy. DO NOT order directly from Columbia. Use a second party like Amazon who offers customer support and has a reliable return policy. I am out 187.00 and will never order from Columbia again.

Bought a pair of omni fairbanks boots from columbia online at the end of November 2023 by the end of January 2024 the stitching was coming apart around the upper ankle area on both boots. Hardly worn & will only get worse so sent an email in with photographs as it states on the web site. Didnt hear back so rang customer service to be told oh we need more photographs to show the undamaged parts of the shoes. Ok did that & again nothing back. A week later i get an email saying so sorry were very busy at the moment. I did read a lot of negative reviews for columbia on line after purchasing the shoes & the awful responses from columbia customer service leads me to believe the negative reviews are all 100% accurate. Wish i had read them before buying from this company, hopefully this review might stop someone else making a mistake & buying from Columbia sportswear on line?

My child's new winter coat fell apart within 3 months. Columbia won't fix it without going through a lengthy warranty process that would leave my child without a coat for the duration of winter, and they basically told me to buy a new coat. I won't be shopping with this company anymore.

I made a purchase on 01/01/2024 and it will be the last purchase from there. I plugged in a wrong address and try to call a customer service rep right after it. They just said they cannot do anything once the purchase is placed. They recommended me to wait but then after all just say the same thing that nothing they can do. I called back and forward and talked to the advisor. All just waste time and money! They basically don't care and even don't do anything to help! Why on earth this company still opened?

I have a Columbia 590TD jacket. Overall, I love the thing BUT, the inside lining in the pockets CONSTANTLY gets caught in the zipper to the point where I can't use them! And, I DO mean CONSTANTLY... not now and then but, every single time I try to unzip the pocket.

This is NOT rocket science! The manufacturer could simply use a wider thread pattern to keep the inner lining further away from the zipper.

Ordered a black jacket off line and had to order 2 the first one the website decided to change the color from black to a faded peach Ugly color. I couldn't do anything but wait til it gets here to start a return process and order one in the right color. Although I had called moment after placing said order. Then was stuck on forever hold waiting for a supervisor that never came. Worse business out there they do what ever they can to not help and even got hung up on by one of the so Called customer service rep.

Avoid columbia they only care about money and nothing about customers satisfaction

I ordered a jacket from this company, i needed the jacket by a certain date, so the rep promised me expedited shipping. Days later i'm wondering why i still have not gotten it. They told me he never did expedite my shipping. Now i won't have the jacket by the date i needed to have it by. I called customer service and they are no help at all. I will never order from this company again. Thank goodness for Amazon!

Avoid Columbia.com,best to just go into an actual Columbia store location,this way there is less hassle and disappointment.

I placed an expedited order 2-3 days over the weekend on Saturday. It's been 4 days now and hasn't shipped yet. I needed it for a trip the following weekend. I'm highly dissatisfied. I don't understand why the order can't be canceled since it hadn't shipped yet. Ludicrous policy they have.

I ordered products over 2 weeks ago and they have yet to be shipped. Customer service offered to start an internal investigation which could take another 2.5 weeks to resolve or I can order the product a second time (on my dime) to maybe get here faster. There was no option on their end to just reship the package.

My friend recently placed an order online. A couple hours later, she decided she wanted to cancel the order. She called to cancel, but was told could not cancel the order, but she could return it when she received it. Now she is trying to return the product, there is a $6 fee to return the product. No where on the website or on the phone when called did they mention this $6 fee. Will never buy from Columbia again. Buyer beware.

Columbia should be more upfront about the $6 return fee.

I had a Columbia windbreaker, perhaps 8 years old, that was in excellent condition, except that the zipper broke. I returned it to Columbia for repair and they sent me a generous credit that allowed me to order a beautiful replacement that I am thoroughly enjoying. Thank you Columbia!

These clowns scammed me 90$! They re used an old tracking number from 2022. When it was marked as "shipped" it was marked as delivered 5 minutes after! Purolator says they shouldn't have used an old tracking number and that there's no scheduled pick up for this package! I'll be contacting a lawyer.

First phone call I sent them pictures of the labels on the clothes that they admitted was the wrong size they said they had the right size in the same colors after being on hold for over a hour I hung up and called back I finally got a return label and wanted to reorder the same items in the correct size and same colors but they said they sold out since the initial call so I said I'm returning them and they lost a first time customer for good

Holding my money hostage for a return that they received weeks ago. And every time I call they say they'll email me back and they never do. And everytime I ask to escalate they ask me to email, which guess what, they never come back to.

Columbia clothing, specifically snow shoes, are horrible in quality and the company does not stand by their quality support.
They do not support their clientele in any way.
Do not buy Columbia brand products because you don't know what are you getting in to. Save your money and a headache. Look for other good quality products.
They do not replace or offer any options to keep their customers. They don't really care, simple as that.
I have a warranty claim # to confirm my claim.

I'm only giving one star because I have to, zero stars from me!
I ordered a jacket on 1/15. It didn't actually ship until 1/26. Then, the bullcrap shipping company they use (OnTrac) says my package will be here on 1/30, no show. Then 1/31, no show. Then 1/1, no show. Then 2/1, no show. Then no movement at all until 2/6. I contacted Columbia to tell them to just give me a refund at this point. They proceeded to tell me they'll need to open an investigation with the shipping company which takes 14 business days. THEN get this, the shipping company claims they delivered my package on 2/6 "with proof" but Columbia refuses to show me the proof or give me a refund or replacement for a package I never received. Horrible, horrible customer service! I had to dispute the over $100 charge with my bank. DO NOT BUY FROM THEIR WEBSITE!

Ordered a jacket for a gift. Sent to recipient Shipping company did not knock, ring bell, call. Or leave pkg at apt office. I received the text and called recipient. The pkg was no longer at their door. The package was stolen. Customer service stated it was my job to call shipping company to report incident. I did not engage them nor was I told which company delivered. Packages have been stolen in many cities so Columbia should have a safer delivery method They have refused to credit my account They state as long as the pkg was delivered it is not their responsibility

Order was place and the wrong color was ordered. It was noticed immediately after order was placed. Called customer service and waited on hold for 30 minutes. Was told that they couldn't change or cancel the order. They said I would have to wait to get the order then pay to return it and wait 7-10 days after they received it for a refund. I have never dealt with a company that couldn't make changes before the order was shipped. Would not recommend to anyone to shop with them.

I ordered a pair of boots for my son it's been almost 9 days and it's still saying the label has been created. My order is nowhere near close to being delivered and they don't even send a courtesy email.

Their fleeces stink after 10 min of wearing. Doesn't matter how many times you wash it. When you wear it again. Smell is back.

Ordered a coat with promises delivery by Christmas. A label was created but never shipped. They tried to blame it on UPS but that is a lie. Will not refund or resend. Will not allow me to talk to a manger.

Out of 3 pairs of Columbia pants I have bought in the past 6 months, all three have had the stitching on the back pockets unravel, making the pockets useless. I called the warranty line and since I have no receipt, they will not fix them. I will not waste my money on Columbia again. 5.11 makes a much better product that will last years.
