Conagra Brands products include Smart Balance buttery spreads, PAM Cooking Oil, Birds Eye and others. Since they were taken over by Hedge Funds including the big three ~ Black Rock, Vanguard and State Street, the products we've come to rely on as healthy choices are victimized by cost cutters. Smart Balance has thousands of complaints to bring back the original recipe, PAM apparently set people's hair on fire and Birds Eye Broccoli Tots was found to include baby metal nuggets which might require pre-scanning with a metal detector. These are just some problems that their packaging doesn't post a warning about. These big Hedge Funds boast about environmental sustainability which is BS. It's all about money and making shareholders happy with fatter returns at the expense of felonious advertising. More often than not, food producers tout unsubstantiated claims about the health benefits of their products. The American health problem is due in part to food labeling that falls between the cracks. Conagra Brands annual revenue is $12 Billion. They can afford to at least level with the public. So, if Smart Balance is heart healthy, how can that be if I now have to use tons of it? And should I decide to use some PAM, do I need a fire extinguisher handy? Besides, do I really want to look like that infamous, deceitful Orange Blob?
