Cosmopolitan Magazine

I used to love cosmopolitan, now it's all about being woke, sex toys, and different disgusting topics like for example"boning In the bathroom at your favorite fancy restaurant", or how to be a slut without sex, plus theirs to many adds, not enough story's and no quizzes, never buying again!

I agree with Annie this used to be really good and have a variety of topics and funny stories. Now it is only ads, a very low amount of boring and very opinionated reads and astrology. That is all you get. Very boring. I only read it bc it comes to my home but once read in the traah, they are not even worth keeping. I am sad because it used to be my favorite and I don't know what changed in the company but they need to revert. Only their employees will be left reading this. Seems like they wrote the positive review.

So I grew up reading Cosmopolitan magazines. Haven't read them for a while so I randomly picked one up today. I couldn't help but notice the size of the magazine shrunk about 3/4 the size it used to be. I immediately flipped through the pages to find the "cosmo confessions" - they weren't there! This magazine is just boring and not worth the price. Who made the decision to get rid of the confessions and relationship stories? Horrible decision in my opinion. Beef your magazine up and put back the good stuff back in!

I used to read Cosmo years ago. Recently subscribed, but disappointed. Articles are leftwing and women are too young. If this magazine really supports women... they should have women of all ages. Boring.

The magazine is so much thinner and has none of the fun stuff it used to have, like embarrassing stories or confessions. I just flipped through every single page and by the last, I was SO DISAPPOINTED. I already paid for the subscription, but part of me wants to cancel anyway just so I don't receive these anymore. I think it'll get tossed in my recycle like the other junk mail I get... did management change? So sad by how downhill this (what used to be) successful magazine has gone.

Ive not picked up a copy of Cosmo in years but after reading through articles in January 2023 edition I can firmly say I never will again. People with vaginas? Is that women then? This one's fun filled magazine has turned very woke and it gives me the boak!

This isn't the Cosmo I grew up on. There wasn't anything in it helpful to me. Was all BLM or pertaining to black lives, which is fine, but, mix it up, white and black, something for everyone. Won't buy this again, wish I never did.

I use to love how thick the old cosmopolitan mags use to be. Filled with sex advice, relationship articles, funny story and interesting info on health. I miss the multiple quizzes and surveys in the mag. Now, in 2020, the mag is thin, filled with ads and never interesting. I dont even read it to the end because it doesnt keep my interest. Definitely will cancel asap

Cosmopolitan is full of terrible context. The editors pick horrendous topics and the writing quality is subpar.

I read it whenever I can on my phone or laptop. I even buy it in the store when I'm really really bored.

The article title: "Issa Rae is Literally Unf*cking Stoppable" is offensive on multiple levels. Using expletives in common parlance renders them ineffective. It also lacks imagination since as a modifier it says very little. Not capitalizing God is grammatically incorrect since it is being used as a proper name. The writer isn't saying "Thank 'a' f*cking god." The phrase basically says "thank f*cking Joe." Joe as a proper name should be capitalized. Then, as a believing Christian (notice Christian is capitalized, and the modifier actually modifies something) the phrase is extremely offensive. Finally, the editor doesn't have the courage to put the "u" in the word, which renders the whole thing childish and makes the editor look cowardly. Oh, as an after thought, saying "literally" unstoppable is a misnomer. Many things could stop her - a tornado, an illness, a change of heart. "Unstoppable" as a descriptive term doesn't need modifying it is strong enough praise to stand alone.

This is where I come to bask after a long day's troubles. Cosmopolitan not only has news and updates, but there are daily features on issues that lay close to my heart. Nowadays it's hard for a girl to find an online mag that caters to nearly all her needs without being overly gossipy. That's why I treasure Cosmo

I am lifelong member of the cosmopolitan movement. However, lately I see they try to appeal to the very younger gen by diluting articles and features. Am I wrong?

I enjoy this magazine. It is always up to date on fashion and makeup tips and such. And unlike other magazines of similar style, I feel like the fashions I see in Cosmo are usually more affordable.
