I've had many poor deliveries for items I purchased online from Costco.ca. They have been a lifesaver during the pandemic. But, not a fault of their own, they tend to have seriously lazy or incompetent delivery people bringing my purchases. Costco is not s delivery service, so they farm that function out. However, even though I complain, I can be assured that Costco will make it right, if the delivery people mess up. And they do. Thank you costco.ca.
I will 0 reviews for costco.ca because I ordered online gold coin from 26 December 2023 and received a empty package on jan 09,2024. And costco r not refund my money also. I already filled police report but waste of time, they also did nothing. I am very disappointed with costco services. They have to care for their members. Totally scammed.I attached photos of my package you can see its already side cut and take of my gold coin and tape it. Gold coin cost was 2830$ it is my 1 and half month pay. I order a computer that it was not available at the warehouse, online only item, once I paid cople of days the shipping order start saying that I will receive my product in a week…. Really!, then a day before today I looked into the shipping tracking order telling that I will be receiving my order today, now I check it again to see what time will be delivered as I need to be at home for that and….surprise now three more days ….
To avoid this order directly from Microsoft = 3 days, Amazon, same Day or next day.
Amazon is not killing businesses, its giving you good service.

I have been satisfied overall but recently had a worrisome experience. We refused a delivery due to outside damage of the container for a chair. I called 4 weeks later and the first question was had we requestd a refund. Seems like no refund is processed unless requested. I know some people never check bills or do not follow up on returns,. This policy could mean millions in clear revenue for Costco. Come on! If you have a return you know which order. Process the refund!
The laundry centre was delivered with missing the bottom parts which caused the floor damage.
Of course, I reported it to Costco, but they through everything delivery company. And even I was mentioned that I had to call the manufacturer to order the parts by myself. So they did nothing. The delivery company stopped responding to me once the incident was reported and got back to Costco, he would contact them and get back to me. Nothing happened after. Got back to Costco to talk to someone else, however, what they can do is contact the delivery company to push them to contact me. If they don't take the responsibility of the floor, done! The guy I just talked to clearly said Costco won't take this responsibility. They just sell the products and don't take care after.
This was my first time buying the appliance from Costco.ca but I'll never shop again.
On time appointment delivery, actually 25 minutes early, I prepared for hauling ready at my door ready for pickup, the team done by Ghirmay Setey done excellent job, I will recommend to the public buy online at Costco, off course you have to prepare ready for houling don't expect the delivery guy to clean up your old appliances.

I ordered a Whirlpool refrigerator on 05/29/2023 and it has been rescheduled 5 times already and today they said it will take another 10 days! I need the fridge because my old fridge isn't fixable. Imagine the weather has been consistently in over 25°C and you get that bullcrap when delivery time nears. BOTTOM LINE! DO NOT DO ONLINE ORDER FROM COSTCO.CA.

I watched my rug order, on FedEx, cross from LA into Ohio, start the trip west again, finally crossed into Canada. 4 different delivery dates over 2 weeks. If you don't care when a delivery occurs and anytime within a month of your order is good, go for it. Otherwise almost any other delivery service would b better.

They did not send email, try to contact. They just cancelled my order.

I have an executive membership for a number of years and had a points refund check for only $20 last year. Costco refused to refund me $40 as was promised for the reason membership is expired. They also refuse to sign me as a new member as 18 month is not passed yet. I am not willing to spend 5k a year in this store as parking is always busy long lines at the cash and prices are raised more than most grocery stores. I dont think it is worth to me to be a member at costco or waste time to go there.

Do not order an appliance on line from Costco at least a microwave. I had a bad experience very disappointed twice they sent me a damaged one I do not think they are even new seems like returns. They do not even smell new in the box. Even though Costco states it is a second party I bought it through Costco on line they should still be responsible
Never use this service - terribly overpriced, 3rd party contractor FLO FORM is so unprofessional and neither Costco.ca Installation nor FLOFORM provide customer service, only interested in making money and doing what is best for them. Had to pay full price - Over $17,000 upfront, not itemized price list provided so when required refund, they can give you whatever they see fit and you have no idea. I hate my bathroom countertop (has black splotches throughout, sample did not and was not apprised that it might) and backsplash chosen by professional consultant does not match counterop. No communication with either, really horrible experience, would not recommend to anyone. Could have done it for thousands cheaper but sucked in by Costco's reputation for standing behind their products and the fact that they provided plumbing and backsplash removal/instalation while would have had to get separate. Just Cambria/Handstone purchase would have been over $3,000 less going the other way.
Signed up for a membership promotion via groupon and received a voucher code for costco.ca. The voucher did not work. Spent 30 minutes talking with a customer service agent who could not get the voucher to work (and who generated multiple new vouchers that also didn't work). Finally they said they'd send me a digital cash card instead, and that I'd receive it within 3 days. Called back a week later when I had not received the cash card to learn that the agent's request for a cash card had been denied by some other team. The new agent made another request and I'm now waiting a few more days to see if that one gets approved. Overall it's been a big waste of time and energy over $40 that I may or may not receive.

Costco tires at 427/hwy7 oil change tech left filter lose- oil leaked damaging driveway. Twice in row. Not a happy Costco customer for their tire department. They need to train their techs properly.

I have been a member of Costco for many years and have never had any issues with any of the products until today, giving them 4 stars.
Today was an exception and great disappointment to my wife and me. We always by our ground beef at Costco and today was no different, I waited at the meat counter until the brought out the ground beef, took my pack and off we went to continue shopping.
When my wife started to use the ground beef bought today, she noticed there was a difference in the texture of the ground beef and slight discoloration, she decided to check the best before date and discovered that the date packaged was December 11,2022, best before date was December 12,2022 which was more than convincing that they mixed in ground beef from the other day with fresh ground beef from today.
It's not like things aren't costly enough with prices souring through the roof, we now have to check Costco and their meat department for quality and making sure we don't get blindsided by an experience like this. Has inflation impacted Costco that they have to recycle meat products and how long have they been doing this and getting away with it.
We will have to start paying closer attention to what we buy at Costco as I would strongly recommend everyone does after our experience.

Costco avocados are harvested so prematurely that it's very difficult to time their use. I talked to the avocado guy at the Kelowna store about the best way to ripen them, he told me to leave them in the sun until they ripen to my liking. I bought 2 bags of avocados, one I set in the sun the other inside my home. The one I set outside turned black/rotten on the side in the while the shaded side remained as hard as wood. The bag of avocados that I left indoors has been sitting on the counter for 10 days and are still as hard as wood almost all around and where they are beginning to soften a bit they are turning black/rotten. In conclusion: both bags have had to be thrown in the compost bin. Very expensive compost!
I've had better avocado luck at Walmart or other grocery outlets. Yes the other outlets have smaller fruit but at least it's edible with very little wast.
My advice to Costco? Figure it out and provide usable avocados to your loyal customers.

Zero stars wasn't an option. Purchased 2 living room chairs online which were delivered without warning to my driveway at the beginning of Aril. Left outside (thank goodness it didn't rain). When we tried to put the legs on one of the chairs it would not screw in fully nor unscrew. We decided the quality was poor and arranged to return the chairs to Costco. They use a carrier named Day & Ross.
This is where the nightmare begins. It is now May 19th and we still have no resolve to the pick up.
Have spent so much time wasted on the phone and on hold while Costco blames Day N Ross Carrier and they blame Costco. Famous line "we are escalating this to a supervisor" or "a supervisor will call you". Guess what? No supervisor has called and I am beyond frustrated with the lack of customer care both companies display! I don't trust them and I will never order anything online that needs to be delivered again from Costco! Zero customer service, zero cares given, and nothing but passing the customer off with lies and false promises. Save yourself the aggravation and shop where customers are valued and appreciated! Costco is a fantastic retailer who has a second to none return policy. Product pricing is usually hard to beat except on delivered goods there is a slightly higher price that varies as shipping is free, so the price reflects that. Monthly and other frequent sales are also great! The first day or two of a new sale the store is usually extra busy! I prefer shopping in store when I can however I have used the Costco.ca site many times and delivery is usually prompt and affordable.
There are a lot of items on the website that are simply not stocked in the warehouse and the warranties are generous and extended warranties on electronics and appliances are reasonable when needed,

We shop here in store and online very frequently. Electronics like TV's have very reasonable extended warranties which is why I would never buy a TV elsewhere if possible.

I am disabled and I am immunocompromised. I wrote yesterday to express my concerns with an upcoming appliance delivery through Metro to Home. I requested that for my safety the delivery personnel be fully vaccinated. Metro to Home refused to comply and Costco refused to take responsibility. Costco has the absolute power to demand that subcontractors ask their employees their vaccination status, and if refused, find another company who is willing to respect the health and safety of Costco's customers.
And it is their LEGAL DUTY TO ACCOMMODATE the disabled and immunocompromised. I was not accommodated.
Someone from Costco phoned me that afternoon to discuss the situation. She spouted a number of platitude's and mentioned more than once that Costco closely follows the recommendations of Health Canada. I disagree.
One of the two gentlemen delivering my dishwasher was wearing a single cloth mask.

I am not writing for the purpose of getting the delivery people in trouble. They were respectful and donned two medical masks each that I provided. I blame Metro to Home for not providing these young men proper protection, for their safety and mine. And I blame Costco, who thinks that by subcontracting out deliveries they can wash their hands of any responsibility. Well, they can't. It is absolutely their responsibility to ensure that EVERYONE working in any and all capacity for them is properly trained in covid safety and provided with the proper protection for their workers and their customers, especially the most vulnerable ones!

Some of Costco Beacon Hills/Sarcee Location) pharmacy staffs are unprofessional with bad attitude and they treated customers with disrespect.
Happy to order from costco because I don't have to deal with the crowds in the store and I've been happy to get my delivery faster than expected. Also, if you aren't happy you can return it to the store instead of mailing it back if you want which is really handy.
