I bought an $80 jacket online. When I got it I opened it and tried it on for less than one minute. I tried to return it in person at the only store in my city at fashion show mall in Las Vegas. A sales worker named Jasmine said I could not return it because it looked worn and smelled like perfume. I'm going to try to just return online now that I've wasted my time but this is the most ridiculous experience I've ever had.

Don’t buy from cotton on. The quality and customer service is $#*!

I purchased some gifts from the Cotton:On website that never showed up. You can't call them, you have to chat online. They agreed to refund my money after about 30 minutes. I received an email stating they refunded the money, and that I'd receive it in 1-5 business days. Six days later I had to chat with them again, and again they said 1-5 business days. This place is a total scam, don't buy from them!

The blonde working checkouts at this location must be having the worst day of her life or is just an absolute awful human being. Don't expect a "hi" or "thank you" just expect the rudest attitude you can imagine. Clothes are great though.

Folks, there are tooooo many other stores in this mall to sieve your time in this one. The clothes are no better than competing stores and their CUSTOMER SERVICE IS SO BAD that people 20 deep were waiting in line for only one very slow checkout. Many customers just left their intended purchases and walked out. When we approached another store associate about helping alleviate the customer line she said no! She there were only 3 of them in the store and culvert couldn't help. This is a company that clearly DOES NOT CARE. DON'T GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY!

I placed an order online in October. It is December 4th and I still have not received a refund for this order OR any correspondence since my last email on 11/29 regarding the fact that my card STILL hasn't been refunded for an order placed in October. I tried to be patient and get this resolved before leaving a review but this is the WORST customer service I've experienced and hope to save others the hassle, time and money. I have received no updates whatsoever and I've had to reach out to them multiple times to try to figure out what's going on with this order, I've been told multiple things, including 1. My items were shipped and returned to sender, 2. That they would be shipped again… not once but twice, and then 3. Finally and unfortunately (since I missed the opportunity to buy similar items elsewhere during a sale, AND this was a gift for my daughters bday) that they were out of stock and would refund my card in 1-5 business days in which it STILL hasn't been refunded as of today 12/4…this was on 11/22. Two of the times I reached out for an update I had absolutely NO response whatsoever including trying to find out when my card would be refunded, this was on 11/29. I understand it's the busy time of year but this is terrible business and from a customers perspective, completely unacceptable. I will NEVER spend another dime at this store again for myself or my 3 daughters. I would have put 0 stars but I had to choose at least 1.

Terrible customer service.
Put on telephone hold.
Told its a 2 minute wait then after 10 minute wait was told no longer able to speak to service person.
In store my call went to message bank...No customer service at all
Where's my refund?
Disappeared into cyber space?
Terrible service for the customer
While the founder gets richer by the minute. I've cottoned on -

I bought hair clips for my daughter at Cotton in's westfiled store. Six mini clippers cost 10 dollars. And the plastics are so thin. I can image they break in a few days.

When I got home, I searched Temu and AliExpress, same clippers they sell 2 dollar for 50 pieces. I was so surprised by how cheap these things are.

I will never buy any accessories from Cotton on again.

Unfortunately this company is a complete scam when it comes to returns and do not honor their return policies and make it extremely difficult to return anything. Returned a good amount of items: all new with tags. Two weeks later I receive an email stating the return was denied and customer service gave ZERO answer as to why. Was also told I would be receiving the items back and still have received nothing. They took my money and clothes and are offering no resolution. Will never be buying again. There are thousands of clothing companies that sell clothes that look exactly like theirs, the least they can do is have helpful customer service.

I was given clothing for Christmas as a gift that didn't fit me. Went into the Physical Ballito store and they refused to give a refund or even a voucher that can be used at a later date without the purchase receipt, even though the Cotton On tag was still on the item and their computer system recognizes the item and price (they had nothing else that I liked in my size - at the time).

Returned an item at another clothing store brand without any issues whatsoever.

Will no longer support Cotton On!

CottonOn has the absolute best jeans. I LOVE the way they fit me and how comfortable they are. My favorites would definitely have to be the straight leg and mom jeans in the regular blue color. Although, I recently tried ordering another straight leg pair in black, but this time it didn't feel or look the same. I ordered in the same size and style and I even checked to make sure that it was made in the same place but the black pair was still so much different. It felt tighter and was shorter at the ankle. I wish I took a picture of how it looked like before returning it.

We never received what we ordered. They told me to take it up with UPS since UPS said they delivered it. UPS was contracted by Cotton On to deliver, I was not part of that transaction, but they refused to contact there delivery service to remedy the situation. I asked to speak to a supervisor, but one was never made available. They have zero concern for their customers, they get their money and they are done with you.

I purchased two pairs of jeans from here online. One pair didn't look how they did online, the bottoms were all cut up and fringy. The other pair ripped the first time I wore them. One legs ripped all down the seam, just from crossing my leg. I'm currently waiting on a refund, but beware customer service is horrible and I'm not optimistic I will receive it.

All critical reviews sounded just like when I've ordered clothes from China. I have a 3x gauze shirt I can't return. I'm a 1x but I knew the size would be wrong so I order up. It didn't help.

Cotton-On claims that you will get a discount of 20% on your first online order.

This is NOT correct. The discount only applies to items which are not already discounted. For me, it reduced my purchase from $350 to $320 (it should have been $280).

I would encourage cotton-on NOT to mislead customers.

I purchased a supposed rug from this website and when it came in, it was in no way a rug. When I tried to return it, they ignored my emails for 2 weeks. They finally sent me one asking for a picture of the item i purchased. I sent the picture and I haven't heard back from them. Also, when I initially purchased the item, the confirmation email was not in the company's name, but in the name of an individual. Poor poor quality and service. Definitely a scam!

I bought from CottonOn because I have a friend who said their clothes are pretty decent for the price. I didn't have high expectations. I ordered 9 things and kept 2 of them, so I returned 7 items.

1. PLEASE BE CAREFUL AND DON'T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE I DID! If you're a USA customer, make sure you go on their website and generate a return label. If it doesn't work, make sure it's on the US website otherwise it'll tell you that your order doesn't exist.

2. AGAIN: PLEASE BE CAREFUL AND DON'T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE I DID! DO NOT use the shipping label that came in your package. I mistakenly thought it was a return label so I stuck it on and sent it off. Luckily, USPS returned the package to me and that was when I realized it was just a duplicate of the shipping label they used to send me my items. Why would they leave a duplicate of the shipping label in my package? It's confusing and misleading!

3. Their returns are extremely complicated especially for US customers. The return was free however, I paid with Paypal. I live in New York City where tax isn't charged on articles of clothing less than $120 or so. I was charged for my order but I decided to let it go since it wasn't worth fighting for a minuscule amount of dollars.

4. However, I paid with Paypal and Cotton On processed my return but now they're asking me to fill out this complicated form via email citing they need all the info including my bank account and routing number amongst others things I have no idea about. Do they not have this info on file? I paid with Paypal and not a bank account and I refuse to give them this info. If this info is somehow shared or leaked, anyone could just take money out of the account and you have to go through the headache to file stolen money through your bank.

5. Since I kept some of the items, I don't know exactly how to calculate the refund. It's crazy that the email they sent me, asked me to input a refund amount. How the heck am I supposed to know? How do I clearly calculate the discounts they gave me and the tax they charged me? This shouldn't be the customer's responsibility. I'm shocked this isn't automated.

6. When you're generating the return label on their website, make sure you use the ORDER number and not the "transaction" number. They sent me email confirmations saying my order number is this this and that. But then I punched the code into the return label generator, it said it was incorrect. One email shows "order number" as a bunch of digits without a "W" on the front. Another email shows an "order number" with a "W" on the front and totally different digits. Extremely confusing.

I liked the items a lot. They're not pricy and the quality is decent enough to me. I had to return a lot of items since the sizing was larger. I didn't expect biker shorts in size US 4 (small) would be so large since that's my usual size. That's no problem with me and I have no issue reordering my right size, however the hassle they're putting me through right now makes me wish I didn't have to return a single thing to them.

No way are you allowed to speak to a human over the phone. I've had issues with my orders and I was able to chat with someone but, it was like 5 minutes between responses.
I would not recommend using this company as its based in Australia.
I was trying to track my orders and it was look on my order sheet. What?

Tried to return items that didnt fit. After a month they sent them back to me. No explanation. I tried to get help on the app Not helpful at all. Ridiculous explanation telling me I should go into a store and try something on before I order it online and the sizing can vary. I asked fir a store credit then instead of a refund. Nothing they could do. What's the point of doing online shopping if I can't return items they don't fit?

I had been placing hundred dollars of orders. Very disappointing cotton on engaged an unreliable delivery company to send my products. Cannot track, Online chat with cotton on no response. Cannot find any telephone number to contact them. Do not buy from them again. Shopee and Lazada, I paid lesser price, but they used a reliable good delivery company to deliver. Customers want to know delivery status, no information given.

Purchased T-shirt at Byron Bay. The fabric has a fault right in the front which was not obvious until it was put on. I went to the store to get an exchange and they would not exchange unless I had receipt or tag. The girl serving me remembered selling it to me and I am on their system so when I make a purchase my purchase history comes up. I was given the customer service number to ring and when I phoned they could not do anything they only service online customers. Will certainly not be purchasing from them again. Very poor service.

The return process from US was relatively simple and they provided return label for no cost. They however processed a refund that was less than the cost of goods returned, also not inclusive of taxes paid on the goods. I emailed them asking for a breakdown of what items I sent back and what they gave me for each item, as many other companies do automatically. They refused to do this and their only response was to refund me a random $1.89 as if to say f you. I've spent a lot of money w this company and love their children's clothing line for my girls so it is a real shame that they are so purposely deceptive with returns.
