After contacting the BBB, I received 2 t-shirts in the mail from Crunch Fitness and I really appreciate that!
My kids are a frequent member to the kids club and they have one particular associate who works in there who is always eating or playing on her phone. She doesn't always have the appropriate attire to wear there as well. She has yelled at children and had them crying for no reason. I will only bring my kids in when I know she isn't working. This is supposed to be a relaxing time for parents……not wondering if my kid is the next on her list. GM is aware but needs to terminate her asap.

THIS PLACE IS A COMPLETE RIPOFF! My son signed up for a membership in February right before covid hit and they were charging me a monthly service fee of $19.95 and then even an annual maintenance fee of $ 49.00 throughout the time period when they were closed for Covid-19. Every time I called to cancel the membership the gym was closed and unable to be contacted. I would not recommend this place to anyone! Poor customer service as they would not refund me my money.
This location is a black brother only if you get harass from back members the black manager take their side and if you are a Jew worse the manager is a antisemitic, trainer the are the last. On the line not really professional they keep quite to don't loose the commission. After changing to equinox. I realize that crunch is a $#*!hole and is not much cheaper either since the place is a shut hole and the equipment as per. The services are old and dirty. Be aware of the location and check equinox or other gym before you get hook from the manager and the Brazilian George santos in charge for the trainers. This location is black life matter only. If you aren't able to go into YOUR facility in PERSON, canceling requires CERTIFIED RETURN RECEIPT with a tracking number ($9 Post Office fee) AND THEN Crunch will STILL charge you and act like they never got it and make you produce the PROOF (assuming you didn't throw it away thinking it was handled) which will require more phone calls (mine took two more, since staff #1 didn't care and blew me off). I had thankfully kept my post office receipt showing that Crunch indeed did receive my handwritten cancel request because they were going to make me write another one and go to the post office again and pay another $9 to repeat the process but I happen to have a scanner and was able to prove it. RIDICULOUSNESS - a gym membership is this difficult and they've since charged me $12.95 TWICE ($26). I don't recommend this company, they have unethical business practices that not only inconvenience you, but also they don't treat you with respect when it's time to cancel. I am taking the time out of my busy schedule to write this review because I hope it helps at least one person to choose a gym that treats people with decency, even/especially when canceling. I moved states and there aren't Crunch's in my new state. BTW, they SAY it's easy to cancel and I promise you it's FAR from the truth. Don't believe them.

I was a member of crunch fitness in long beach, ca. I paid my start-up fee and my monthly membership fees, along with a yearly fee of 49.95 just recently and also recently closed my month-to-month membership. I still have yet to receive my t-shirt that was promised to me by JImmy when I signed up for this club. When do I get my t-shirt? I have asked repeatedly only to be ignored or told they will come in soon or "I don't know when they will come in", line used most frequently. My advice, if you choose to sign up here, tell them you will sign the contract when the t-shirts are available and I'll bet they will change their deceptive practices!
