Don't know what Polly is talking about below - this may have been the state of De-Kor back in 2011 but I just ordered a lighting kit from them and the lights are high quality and the strips actually feel like they are well made and not some cheap strip of tape or plastic. Others have complained of poor customer service or long shipping times - I ordered and had the kit on my doorstep within 7 days I believe. So far, we love our lights and I can't find another company out there that creates such a customizable LED system out there.

I have had these post cap lights for almost 10 years. Problem becomes when the lights start to get to end of life. While the caps themselves are cast and powder coated for long life and still look great the cost to replace the bulbs is exorbitant. They sell bulbs but you might as well buy new caps for the cost of the replacement bulbs!

DEKOR advertises that the powder coating on their decorative lighted balusters is guaranteed for 30years. This is blatantly misleading when in point of fact it only lasts about 3 years!

We spent over $2,000 on decorative lighted balusters from this company on the strength of their 30 yr guarantee. After 3 years the powder coating on the balusters had broken down under normal conditions, exposing corrosion on all of them.

The company does not honor its written warranty to REPAIR or replace. They reluctantly pick and choose what they will do and customer satisfaction means nothing to them. Also, on our particular batch of balusters the lights and two transformers failed after only a few weeks.

In addition, the owner, (who claims to have worked for NASA) is belligerent and rude in communication and childishly resorts to name calling in an immature effort to intimidate, leading us to believe from the start that ours was not the first complaint they had received. We were right, we subsequently discovered that the BBB already had three other complaints registered against DEKOR before ours.

Beware of this company the warranty is not worth the paper it is written on, if anything goes wrong you are on your own.

We urge anyone else who has been similarly ripped off by this company to file a report with The Colorado Attorney General's office, so that he can take action against them for false advertising to protect other consumers.
