Deck Wonders

6/18/2019 My wife hired Jorge to repaint one bedroom just the walls and trim with little to no repairs. Install new shoe molding and wood casing around the(windows) metal seals to give the windows a more modern look. (Unreal) the one small repair that was required was absolutely horrible. He had what is known as holidays ( missed areas or weak spots all over the room) even after two coats and he stated to me this was a finished product. The ceiling line was perfectly straight from the white ceiling to the tan walls before he painted this room. Now it reflects poor work and a lack of basic skills and a very smug attitude. The new wood casing around the windows was absoutley terrible all of the 45s in each of the corner had gaps that I couldn't believe. Humps of mud not sanded to fill the millions holes he put in the new wood trim, the mud was painted over. He had white trim paint on the walls. My wife also had included in the agreement to install a straight run of stockade fencing about 40ft long real simple. The fence that Jorge installed was the WORST installation I have ever seen in 30 years of being in construction. I have seen bad but not like this the post were out of line, crooked, leaning, the pickets instead of shooting two nails per picket top, middle and bottom which is an industry standard he put one deck screw at the top, middle and the bottom. Every single picket blistered around the screw heads (little hairs) looks like HOLY HELL. No screws in the top headers over the pickets. I can stand at the beginning of the fence were it meets the fence I installed several years ago and shake it ( the whole fence does a dance. He missed measured when sitting the post so several panels have rips in them (these rips start out being about 1/4 of an inch at the top and end up being about an 1/8 of a inch at the bottom. This is a new fence Horrible Workmen Ship and once again a very smug attitude. My wife knows me very well I am a tradesmen and have been in the trades over 30 years. I was just about to lose my mind with guy. IF YOU HAVE TAKEN THE TIME TO READ THIS REVIEW I STRONGLY ADVISE YOU NOT TO USE THE SERVICES OF THIS COMPANY IF YOU CAN CALL THEM A COMPANY. WORK IS TERRIBLE!
