I am so sorry to see DoggieFood has gone away. I used to feel a personal connection to Tony - he always answered my emails, resolved problems and was so concerned. In the recent months (late 2015) the service went downhill, the personal touch left, and the "cutesy" ads proliferated. Seems they took a Get Big busines plan too far. I am sorry -- I really did like ordering from them, and I did - for a long time. Good luck on what comes next, Tony. “Charged My Credit Card, No Dog Food!”

I have bought food from them for years. Now I cannot access their site nor can I reach anyone by phone. They have charged my credit card, but no product. I have also noticed when I placed my last order on October 31st that the majority of food was out of stock, slim pickings for the type of dog food I was looking for. Now their site is down? I have decided to file a complaint with the Attorney General. There is a form one can fill out online. How many people does it take, that have lost money to doggiedfood. Com to open a class action suit?

I have bought food from them for years. Now I cannot access their site nor can I reach anyone by phone. They have charged my credit card, but no product. The website was always poorly designed/convoluted as far as finding what you're looking for but I never had any actual problems with this place. Until now. Now they accept your order, charge your card and send u? NOTHING. On your account page your order is "processing." Naturally there is no answer when you call and no response to emails. I just got off the phone with my credit card company which will be taking up the dispute with doggiefood.com as I certainly am not paying for what I didn't receive. There are obviously BIG problems happening at doggiefood.com.

(DOG FATHERS GROOMING!) It all started by looking for groomers with 4-5 star rating. Well I took my yorkie to get groomer for the first time and I'm hear to tell you he is the worst groomer ever. He didn't really take any thing off her. As well as 3 days prior we went camping. Well I noticed her scratching at her paw so I took her to the vet she hat what they call hot spots on her bottom. And after medication and vet bills I'm still dealing with it still after a week. My poor baby is still terrified. He was horrible groomer. Please for the safety of your pet don't go to dog father groomer.

They blocked me on Twitter after I tried to inquire about an order. Really? This company sucks. Reporting them to better business bureau. Jerks.

I placed my first order recently and I had a great experience. The shipment was received a couple of days after ordering, well packed and with a long shelf life. This is a small family owned company and the owner responded very quickly to my question sent using the email contact form (responded on Sunday). I did try by phone and did not reach a person but the contact form worked efficiently. I don't see that as uncommon with a small operation, although I understand it could be frustrating. Happy experience for us. will use again.

First time customer. Shipped the wrong food. Sent it back and then received a partial order. I have emailed them several times and they are ignoring my emails now. Will have to contact Better Business Bureau. I am on disability and can't afford to pay for food I don't get. Order from Chewy.com. Have ordered thousands of dollars from them and never a mistake. Sorry I ever ordered from anyone else.

If you placed an order at the end of October and never received your product, you should call Pet Food Experts in Cumberland Rhode Island... 3 Martin St, Cumberland, RI ******* Phone:*******380. I did some research and on October 29th they received a restraining order freezing all the assets of doggiefood.com including the cash in the bank collected for your orders which were not shipped. Please pass this message around and post it in as many places as you can so all the customers looking for their money back can file claims.

I would give them negative stars if I could! I have used them for years and never any problem. Don't know what has happened but 2 weeks, still no dog food, nobody returns my calls, nobody returns my emails. They already charged my credit card but still haven't delivered my dog food. I am completely done with this company. What a shame. At one time they had been a very fair and reliable company to deal with. Not any longer. They have lost me completely as a customer. Sad thing is, I don't think that company really cares...

I have to say I've been doing business with them for a couple years with no issues. However, my last several orders have been the biggest pain. Not receiving full orders but being charged, etc And the biggest issue has been that customer service does not respond to customer inquiries! It is beyond frustrating. Can't find out why I haven't received my order, if or when it was shipped, etc. all they have to do is communicate with their customers but they won't. I'm done. I order about $600 a month because we run a small doggy daycare. May not be their biggest customer but they have lost my business.

Decrease from 5 stars to 3 stars. I ordered food on 3/30 and still have not received it yet as of 4/6. And I have noticed a price increase of $4 on the same bag of Origin I always buy! Will be looking at other websites!

Great webpage and easy to navigate. They also have great prices and discounts. Shipping is FAST! I usually have food 1-2 days after ordering.

The only reason I give them 4 stars, they stopped selling Fromm 4 start line. I do currently order my Rotties food- Orijen from them but now have to look else where for my other two dogs. It would be nice to have a one stop shop.

They take your money for back ordered items, and sometimes you never see those items you paid for. Who does that?! I have had that happen to me a number of times, and now I cannot get anyone to answer my emails asking for where my paid for items are. They also are unreliable about shipping notifications, so you are in limbo as to where your orders are, and they are often very slow to ship. Their behavior suggests that they do not care about your business. I will never order from them again.

I ordered for the first time this weekend. The web site was great and the pricing was excellent. I had made a mistake on my order so I called the customer service first thing on Mon and they very quickly corrected my order before it shipped that day. I received my order the next day and everything was perfect. I will be using DoggieFood for all my dogs needs.

I called Pet Food Expert and they made it clear that Doggiefood went out of business and to get our money back we had to speak with PayPal or the BBB. Seems to me like they have absolutely nothing to do with them and I'm still searching for my money. It makes me mad to think that these employees probably posted on here about this company to save their butts when they are the ones who screwed everyone over. "Post this as many places as you can" - that's clearly not a customer and that's not a way to run a business which they clearly learned the hard way. Glad I only placed a few orders.

Don't order from Doggiefood. Com. They charged my credit card two weeks ago, and I have not received my dog food. I never had this problem before... use to receive order within three days. I cannot reach them by phone, they won't answer email, and their website is down. Wish I could give them minus 0 rating.

Stole my money, never shipped my product, removed my comments from Facebook.

This company has gone under! Stay away. Have filed a PayPal claim to get my money back along with many, many other customers.

Please, whatever you do, do not purchase anything from Doggiefood.com or any business associated with Tony Gabriele.

They have gone belly up and have taken customer's money without fulfilling their orders. I have filed a PayPal claim to attempt to get my money back but I'm still out 3 28lb bags of Coastal Catch and the Puppy Vantage food for my two dogs. It is devastating that this company has gone under taking others' hard earned money.

They will not reply to calls, emails, or PayPal and have also taken down their website so customers cannot access their accounts.

Their Facebook page remains active and they continue to remove customer's comments asking where their refund is. Also, the owner, Tony, has changed his email address to apparently evade customer contact.

UPDATE***: They have now taken down their Facebook page as well and have started to harass people to take down their negative reviews of the company.

I've been shopping with them even before they changed their name to DoggieFood.com I liked the fact that they were a smaller business, and their deals/prices were the best by far. Over the years I had two instances where they didn't ship an item, once I emailed them they fixed it right away. Tony, the owner, seemed like a nice guy too. I really am sad, and quite stunned that they're gone. Especially the way it seems they did it, like a thief in the night--just disappearing. No explanations or goodbyes on their facebook/twitter accounts--nothing. Now I'm left with two other large dog food retailers online but they're WAY more expensive than doggiefood was. It's a shame. :(

Tip for consumers:
Chewy and PetFlow seem to be the main options now but neither compare to DoggieFood IMO

For more than three years was a loyal customer. I bought all the commercial foods for feeding my crew from them. They were perfect and always had excellent prices and promotions. I always buy $100-200 per order.

They sent me email Wednesday morning with a 20% discount code. I've been waiting for a good code to re-stock. By the time I went to the site to place an order late that afternoon, they were gone. This morning I see they even killed their Facebook page.

Here's how I saw it coming. I even queried Gianni about it in a chat. In September they sold some $150 gift certificates for $100 to become valid during the holiday season. I was afraid this was a last ditch effort to raise operating capital. I bought one anyway to express my faith in them.

I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt but it looks like they're gone. I just filed my dispute with AMEX.

Update 11/27: It appears doggiefood also sold our personal information that at least includes our names and email addresses.

Additional update: AMEX was able to retrieve my $100 from these people but it didn't happen until Dec 29.

Tip for consumers:
They used to be great but now they're gone. If they have your money, get a dispute filed now.

I have ordered from this company on and off for several years. The prices are excellent, and for the most part, there have been no problems. Until the last order. Ordered $60+ worth of food! Order was processing for a week. Customer service was awful. No one was ever there! Don't take chances, stick with chewy.com or wag.com. Same selection, fair prices, and much better customer service. Buyer beware!

I ordered some seed for my bird 6 days ago and they sent shipment email next day. Today there is still no movement when I check the tracking number. I called them and they said they don' t have this food in stock. So basically they mark the orders as shipped even though they don' t actually ship.

When i asked them how to fix this problem, they didn' t even apologize properly. Stay away from them, at all cost!

I ordered 4 bags of the Stella@ Chewy's, it took 2 weeks for delivery. The package arrived, I was excited, but when I open the package, there was only ONE bag of food! I was missing the other 3 bags of the Stella & Chewy's! I was charged for all 4 bags! I ordered the dog food back on March 15,2015! I am still fighting and waiting for my F*CKEN refund! $133.00 for ONE Bag of dog food! WTH! DON'T ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY! WARNING!

The people that run this so called business are a joke. They stole my money. Site is down. Phone is down. Tony and Beth are pathetic. BBB will be dealing with them, and hopefully they will be penalized for theft. Hideous people. Waste of time and space. Don't order from them.

They only sent half of my order and then customer service was nonexistent. It's been two weeks, and I still don't have an answer if they are going to send me the rest or refund the cost that they already charged (before even shipping the product!).

I've been to the warehouse many times, and have had awesome customer service there, Tony has helped me out with which food is best for my dogs. I also have them deliver to me when I don't feel like driving. Not a fan of FedEx at all though, that's why I'd rather just pick it up... Prices are competitive for Orijen & Petcurean which is great since that's all my dogs eat without getting sick.
