Started playing drums at 12 and I'm 66 now. I have a Tama set in my basement which I can't play very loud because it upsets Walter and Eddy (my dogs) so I bought the Donner DED-200 to play on my main floor with headphones. I went with Donner because of all the positive reviews and also the fact that I bought their DEP-20 keyboard last year and I just love it. I was also looking for a set that could take my double bass pedal. Well, well even though I expected a quality product, I was still surprised when I started to set it up.The frame is heavy duty more so than the other popular brand that starts with an A, trust me my neighbor has one. The sound is AMAZING. I bought the set at 15% off only to realize that the next day(labor day) it was 20% off, so I contacted them to see if I could get that extra 5% off and they refunded me even though they didn't have to. So yes I highly recommend Donner for reasonably priced great quality products and a pretty good company to deal with.

This company advertises on their website that their Customer Service will respond within 24 hours. So far, I have sent three emails in the last three days. Be aware that they DO NOT respond at all, you are ignored completely and there is no phone number advertised either. If you are looking at products on this website, do yourselves a favour and purchase them somewhere else. Sadly, if you have an issue they will totally ignore you.

Be aware that they DO NOT respond at all, you are ignored completely and there is no phone number advertised either. If you are looking at products on this website, do yourselves a favour and purchase them somewhere else. Sadly, if you have an issue they will totally ignore you.

Their Customer Service is non-existent, no response to emails, be careful. If you have an issue to resolve, you are fully ignored.

Company sent the wrong item, a maple body guitar. I ordered a black guitar, as was clearly stated in the description of the product. I was told I ordered the wrong SKU, even though the description said black. They keep saying its my fault for not checking the SKU, even though, again, the product description clearly says black. They want me to pay return shipping even though the error is clearly on their end. Very poor customer service as this has been ongoing for over a week now.

I purchased something and returned it they have had my item now for 24 days and they haven't processed a refund every time I inquire about it they say they're sorry and they will take care of it but yet they have not they stole my money please be advise do not buy from this company ever if you plan on returning anything because you will not get a refund

Donner finally contacted me on May 5th (email). They were very apologetic for the error in my shipment. They did transact a refund for the difference between the two guitars (which I received 11 days later).
Overall, my son is happy with the guitar we have, and it is of nice quality. This company does need to get its customer service act together if they want to have a fighting chance in the North American market. They need to respond far more quickly and have a fast plan in place to correct mistakes like my mis-shipment. It will take Donner a long time to build trust in the Americas if they keep conducting business like this. No qualms about the product itself, just the level of service.

The received my order and promptly processed it - I was impressed. They actually shipped it to me rather quickly. It was very well packaged and arrived in good condition... problem, it is NOT THE GUITAR I ORDERED. It is a cheaper guitar. I am very disapppointed. They haven't responded to my emails or my facebook messenger. I just want a refund for the difference because I don't have faith in trying to do an exchange with this company. I was optimistic, but no longer. The reviews of customer service lacking are all completely accurate. Go with a major brand.

As soon as we assembled the drum set we
Contacted them and made them aware that one
Cymbal doesn't work and also that we want to
Return it due to it being lower quality than we
Expected. Three weeks of emailing and calling
And we still haven't been given ok from them to
Return it or told where to send it. The address
On website clearly states not to return to that
Address. We were even willing to pay shipping
Sitting on customer service with a stranger for
45 minutes while they tell you they are emailing
You a label to three different email addresses
When we both know they are lying gets kinda
Awkward.
** This company does NOT honor their return
Policy. *** filed dispute with PayPal today.

Bought a set of speakers which failed after 1 day. Donner totally ignoring requests to return parts and issue refund. Should of looked at reviews before purchasing - will never use this company again and advise others to stay well clear.The measure of customer service is their reaction to problems - this companies reaction has been zero

My review is of Donnerguitar.com. I ordered an item that cost in excess of $40. The funds were quickly subtracted from my account, the item was never received. "Customer service" link goes to " page not found". They respond to e-mails, only to state the the package was indeed delivered, and that they have "lost money on the shipping costs which they paid"….? They offer a 10% refund. Don't use this website, or company.

Bought a Christmas present at end of Oct. Donner hush I guitar for my daughter's Christmas. Less than a few hours after the box is opened on Christmas Day, the tuning knobs make the strings buzz and string snaps. Daughter has 3 other guitars so she knows what she's doing. Contacted Donner customer service who took wks to answer them offered £50 for new set of strings but nothing to resolve buzzing so declined this offer and said this is not suitable resolution. Been ignored since then. Awful company. Regardless of which name they choose to call themselves. Please folk, do not waste your money. I paid £239 for this guitar and every single penny was a waste of money. It's Jan 18th 2024 and this guitar was opened December 25th 2023 and the company have stopped responding both via email and instagram. Appalling products and customer service. Never again. Will leave bad reviews on every site i can re this company. They should not be in business at all UPDATER: Since leaving review this morning, I've been told I will receive a full refund. We'll see. FURTHER UPDATE: Full refund received.

This company stole my money
They promised me MK0062 microphone and never delivered. Now 4 months of going back and forth they do not respond. They are crooks and thieves for stealing my money. Avoid these people at any cost. Buy American from now on from and American based companies!

Item of poor quality and didn't appear new. Returned it promptly yet Donner just started ignoring my emails once received- luckily had purchased through PayPal so was able to obtain my refund by opening a case. AVOID and purchase from a well known music brand.

I deeply regret buying from them. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. I ordered a keyboard and received an EXTREMELY damaged product. It has now been almost 3 weeks and I still haven't sorted out the return because they are completely unresponsive to their email (the only thing that they provide for returns) and when they do reply its a very short vague answer. Right now I can't even get them to respond about whether I am the one paying for the return shipping (that is looking likely). It is a huge heavy box, so it will be pricey.

I hate them.

Couldn't use the product because it was so damaged, and seeing as they are being a**holes about the return, I will NEVER order from them again.

So I went and bought my nephew a set of electric drums for his 16th birthday it was about $400 a few days go by I got an email saying they canceled my order about two more days go by and they take the money out of my account making my account negative $400 and something dollars they don't have a phone number to call they don't respond to your emails immediately this is a scam do not order from this website. I'm having problems getting my money back I have to wait at least 75 days that's bull crap.

Stay away from this company. I ordered a keyboard which they never delivered. I asked for a refund and over 30 days later they have not done. Their customer service is terrible.
Please avoid the company. I have to report them to the District Attorney for consumer fraud.

I bought an electric drumset from Donner a few months ago. It arrived broken, it did not work how it was intended to work at all. One cymbal was constantly triggered and half of the drums/ cymbals didn't work at all. The snare drum works... But that's about it. I contacted them about it and they gave me a list of solutions that didn't work... I asked to return it but they wanted proof of what was broken. I sent them several videos explaining what was wrong and what I had done to fix it. They never responded to me. I sent them another email explaining I wanted my money back and they sent me a list of solutions- they same list they had sent earlier... that didn't work. Thanks for the most expensive piece of garbage I've ever owned Donner deal, I dont understand how you're in business with such terrible customer service and products that don't even work.

They are scammers
I made a purchase from their site
And there is all the evidence with me from a screenshot, the shipping number and everything
The product is on stock 50+
And the next day, I did not receive a shipping number or anything, and when I called them, they said that the product is not available in stock
And they want to reserve the money for them and give me a discount number on any other product and they do not want to refund the money.

And The Customer Service they have all of them is one Person
No Supervisor No manager
And they are rude and didn't help with anything I call them 4 times and I have all emails from them and they are the biggest liers

7-15 business days for a refund? For something you should of not of sold me, since you did not have stock at the time and never did. Still do not have any stock. So I wait over a month to get nothing and then you are going to drag out the refund over two weeks? Thought you we're a good company but this is bull$#*!. The money doesn't matter, it's the principal of how your doing business. I own a company and would never make my customers wait so long, specially after lying to them to get a sale. Keep your crap made products and cheap prices, so you continue to Ripp off the unsuspecting public, real musicians know better.

Ordered wrong size violin and wanted to return it. Dinner kept asking me for information I was never sent. I received a PayPal receipt and a ups tracking number, none of which are accepted as a proof of purchase!

I ordered a keyboard. My card was charged immediately but I recieved no shipping information. I emailed the company to request an update. No update was given, it was in broken english with multiple sizes and colors of font. I requested to cancel my order and get a refund. I have yet to recieve a refund or the piano (almost 3 months ago). I have taken the matter up with my credit card company. They told my credit card company I reported the product as damaged!? I believe my credit card company will handle the issue but maybe this can help anyone avoid the headache we have been through!

I would have given 0 stars if I could!

I recevied a damaged, substandard electric guitar, that looked used. Donner offered me £6.35p in compensation! This was promptly rejected and I requested a return and full refund. They repeatedly failed to provide the returns information which had to be generated by them and I had to contact PayPal for a resolution. PayPal agreed to a full refund but I was expected to pay the return costs! Donner then provided a shipping address IN CHINA! Yes, that's right, CHINA! Even though the item was sent to me from their UK warehouse, they are insisting that the guitar is shipped to CHINA at a cost of £95, in order for me to get my refund. This is obviously a ploy to deter me from returning the item and getting the refund that I am entitled to. Nowhere on their website does it state that returned items must be shipped to CHINA at the buyer's expense! Obviously, if it had, I wouldn't have purchased a single thing. It has been a very frustrating and disappointing experience, we just wanted to buy our son an electric guitar...

RETURNED ITEMS HAVE TO BE SHIPPED TO CHINA AT THE BUYERS EXPENSE!
THEY DO NOT PROVIDE RETURNS INFORMATION!

Bought a piano on 7th March
Bought a piano on 7th March. Didn't receive and so tried to get money back. Impossible task! Told we had to wait 20 business days for our money. 10th April told we had refund but didn't. Emailed them and they asked for me to wait 5 more business days (laughable). I told them NO! And reported them to Barclaycard today (11th April). Meanwhile they emailed me back saying: Transcript below-

We assure you that we have forwarded the issue to the related department to work on the refund as soon as possible.
