Been using dpd local online for years. They very rarely miss a collection or delivery. Using them is much less hassel than the super economy delivery companies
Said my parcel would be delivered between 4:30 - 5:30 but never arrived, tracking then changed to customer refused parcel which was a lie as nobody came that day. Seller re arranged delivery for the next day and app said it was being delivered but again never came, chat online totally useless and don't know why this has happened. Still no parcel and £114 out of pocket plus 2 wasted days waiting in for parcel to arrive. DO NOT USE THIS COURIER if you value your parcel. I thought Evri were the worst but these are down there with them.

Absolutely awful company to deal with. We arranged a collection 6 times and they didn't show up 5 of those and the last attempt they went to someone's else's house I mean how can a company be so terrible. We still have a customer waiting for his goods a week later! If you don't want to stress and potentially lose customers don't use DPD
Tip for consumers:
They messed us about so many times and lied about trying to collect the parcel

We got our money back in the end as it took over a week to try to collect
Ordered clothes suitable for post operative care in hospital from same supplier. Both parcels delivered
To wrong address and returned to 2 different drop off points in Poole. Cannot collect as I am awaiting hip
Replacement surgery next week and can't walk unaided. Customer service appalling. Surely, a company
That specialises in logistics could arrange a collection from their depot 10 mins away and redeliver to
Correct address? NO, I have to sort their incompetence out. I will NEVER employ DPD again.
Bought a laptop on ebay. Poor guy sent it by this peace of art company. Guess what - it had stuck on collected from pickup shop... 20 days already - no item, no money back, no refund, no investigation outcome. If you want similar experience - you are welcome to join this great company. Just go to dpd online and you're one item less. Great!
Tip for consumers:
Please stay away. Or at least pay for extra full insurance for your item.

DPD Local always lie about saying they try to deliver when they don't bother. We have a ring doorbell so we always know when they're not bothering to meet their delivery day. Useless delivery service. They should be honest and have actual operators on their chat function instead of stupid, useless reply servicing. 1 star is too many.

DPD local is awful.

Absolutely the worst experience ever. Booked next day delivery, parcel not collected, parcel finally collected following day, asked when it would be delivered, assured it would be the following day, 4 days later still.no.sign of where my parcel is, no contact number for this subsidiary company, no redress, no complaints procedure, loss of goods, loss of customer, feeling very angry.
Tip for consumers:
Do NOT use DPD ONLINE, make sure you use the reputable DPD with the red logo, not the blue one.
I am still chasing compensation for two lost packages, and have been doing so for 5 months. I have an email address which no one answers, my claim has been logged as 'rejected' for no apparent reason, the phone number on the website cuts off when I press 0 to be transferred to an adviser, the contact form has crashed after having spent ten minutes completing it with my complaint (and then it deleted the content) and I paid insurance for these items!
Funeral tomorrow, need a promised item for the funeral car, 2 minutes before the delivery deadline that was promised they put a made up BS message on the tracking saying I asked for a different date! I have waited in all day, the funeral is in a few hours, you lying pieces of sh@t. I will be visiting my local depo once tomorrow is out of the way, I will show them not to lie and cheat people. I literally cant think worse of this sh@t crap company, I wish all the ill health and bad luck on all your ignorant staff
I paid for next day delivery, it did not arrive, in fact they are saying it as not been collected from my home, this is alie, it was collected, then they say it was delivered and sighed for, the receiving address say they have not got it, rubbish Customer service, can't speak to anyone on the phone, totally disgusting company, I have got no where them. Stay clear.
Very bad experience as an old disabled person. I was abused and physically assaulted in classic 'white van man' style. Taken to hospital with back and heart problems. Police closed investigation without interviewing me. I'm scared to leave the house.
If you value your item then please don't use these guys.
I sent a set of ceramics, very well packaged and cushioned, to an eBay buyer recently. They were boxed securely, wrapped individually in bubblewrap and separated and cushioned with shredded cardboard and other cushioning materials. I took out the DPD Local 'insurance' to the max value of £50 to cover any loss or damage, and sent off by dropping at one of their parcel shops.
Every one of the 6 Toby Jugs inside was smashed when the box was delivered to the buyer. Bad enough you'd think, but then they wriggle out of paying compensation as described as they say now that 'ceramics' are a 'prohibited item'.
I used DPD Local as they were one of the three carriers listed when the eBay sale completed, by eBay.
These guys are not only negligent and irresponsible in handling parcels, but read their small print VERY carefully if you think they will compensate you for anything they damage. They likely will wriggle out of that. I'd just avoid using them to transport anything you value and which might not work if they throw it about. Safer to find a more professional shipper. Good luck if you do decide to risk it - they're cheap, and the old adage applies - you get what you pay for.
This company are an utter disgrace. Sent what is essentially an antique electronics item to Goole, Yorkshire purchased off eBay at significant cost.
The item arrived bent in half and utterly ruined. Obviously the driver mistreated it and then delivered it knowing it was likely damaged but didn't invite the receiver to check it was ok. The receiving workshop didn't open the box for several days as the item was in a queue. When he did he photographed the vandalism on display. I contacted DPD local but they were completely unhelpful and told me the period for claims had elapsed. This is around £230 worth of equipment their driver destroyed then didn't own up to it so I could claim back the cost. This is tantamount to outright theft. I suggested a discretionary good will payment but was told in no uncertain terms they would not honour my complaint. DPD has destroyed my item and it can't be replaced either, nevermind the fact they couldn't care less. Avoid this company at all costs. I hope they go down the tubes. They deserve nothing less. I couldn't put zero stars that should've the correct rating.

Hi
My letter which was picked up a month & a half is still not delivered. They are still not refunding my money as they claim they are investigating. The official investigation can happen but why make the customer wait? Is there an omudsman here in UK? Please do not send anything important through DPD its a nightmare dealing with them as they are experts in passing the buck. Nothing works neither their online chat or whatsapp or email.
As usual with DPD Local - poor delivery service, poor customer service, filled with dishonesty. A simple delivery, just a couple of boxes - first day didn't turn up. Second day lied about attempting delivery. No one that I can speak to. This is the reason that I ditched this company for my own business
Absolute shambles! Dreadful Company Disaster all the time CROOKS just want money absolutely diabolical service terrible Always disgusting company, utterly abysmal. I urge companies DO NOT use this company, they are incapable of providing a delivery service Worst customer service ever waiting 3 days for collection no one turn up, I will never use your services again! You are unreliable! The worst shipping company I ever used! Worst delivery company, Awful service, shocking disappointed with their delivery driver and their customer service.
DPD Local are the worst company in world
DPDlocal-online are not a registered company. Check with companies house. It is actually just a web site administered and run by parcel2go. DPDlocal-online are only contactable through an online chat system. You will wait over an hour to get to chat to someone. Once you get connected to a chat moron it is a complete lottery as to whether they try to assist of simply terminate the chat and put you back in the queue. If you contact parcel2go they will deny that DPDlocal-online has anything to do with them. However if you unfortunately book a parcel through DPDlocal-online you will see that the terms state(in very small print). Payments are collected by parcel2go.com. Contract is with parcel2go.com. There is something illegal going on here and I am now taking legal action against parcel2go.com for the theft of my parcel. Do not under any circumstances use DPDlocal-online or parcel2go.com.

Absolutely appalling service. Bad enough that they lose the parcel but the process of claiming it involved them saying "provide this" and then after I provided it they simply reply "provide this" again. And Again. 6 times so far. They basically dont want to pay out for their shoddy service
Bad service ever never use this service they are so rude
It's a scam.

Never choose this company local dpd Northampton. They are scammers and thieves. Parcels are delivered to different addresses and are stolen. There is no assistance from local dpd Northampton. Important parcels that people are waiting for are lost. Local dpd northampton knows about the problem and does nothing about it, allowing its driver to cheat and steal
I was moving overseas in January and flew to Edinburgh just to pack up my stuff from my flat. DPD local took 3 boxes of literally everything that I own and I was later told that because of Brexit, it couldn't have been delivered but they picked it up anyways. After this, my parcels got lost and I have been begging them for months to find them. Two of the boxes came back but the third remained lost. Now, in May, they told me the third box had been found but since the parcel was damaged, it got "disposed of", after me writing to them every week for 6 months! Now they never answer my emails and I still haven't received any money from my claim. They also made me prove the value of whatever I was sending, even though they had collected the insurance money beforehand without mentioning this "proof of value" requirement anywhere obvious. This box contained personal things that meant a lot to me that I couldn't bring on a plane.
DPD kept lying to me about what was going on with my parcel and that they will reach out to me but they never did! I also submitted a 100 page PDF with invoices for most of my things that I had purchased online but they returned it saying they need more supporting evidence. I had to reach out to support again via the live chat to have that changed. They keep telling me to be patient and that the claim will take time because "it's high value", yet they threw my stuff in the bin (or so they say), for whatever reason, knowing full-well that I am looking for it. It actually never left Scotland.
I've used them before and my parcel arrived broken with half the stuff missing and they didn't even allow me to make a claim.
Avoid at all costs!
Tip for consumers:
Do not use it - it's a scam. No customer support. Parcels arrive broken if at all!

Hi, I just want to tell my experience with DPD and let people know how bad is the service which they provide. So I found on eBay 4 alloy wheels with tires but the seller have just pick up only and because of that I use DPD the service COLLECTION door to door. I pay for the service I spoke with the seller and all was okay. Next day DPD take the 4 parcel and I wait for them follow day but surprise when driver arrive he have just 3 parcel instead of 4 and I ask him what happen and he said your parcel is in Cardiff by mistake, I said no worries I will wait tomorrow for the last parcel but from tomorrow is now 3 weeks :( I call them a minimum 10 times speaking with 10 different people all told me different stories. Unprofessional and I feel like they don't care about customers because one of the people told me to investigate myself what happen with my parcel :), after that I apply online and tell the problem and when I call again they told me maybe I will receive 50£ after finish investigation, price of alloy wheels was 260 for all, so no even 65£ for 1 alloy wheel but how I can find same model to buy another one. I told them I cannot use 3 alloy wheels 17" and one 19" is impossible and they said 'I'm sorry but this is the rule. I said just to keep the money and send it for charity. I hope someone can see my story and stay away from this company….
They took my money and said Manpreet would collect between 14.30/15.30 today usual story I waited and waited but he never showed now I know not to trust them plus for cheaper prices are a no go... why would they go this? Why start a business with no trust... shameful..
They have a picture of the parcel but it was not there bit fishy if you ask me never lost anything from that doorstep in the last 5 years, diabolical service needs regulating for sure
Proof on system driver has not even dared to attempt to deliver after tracking parcel live and and watching through window as important parcel and photo shows he has not been to my door, depot has chosen not to correct the drivers issue and driver has not been able to be reached. Terrible and disgusting service from the Basildon depot and it's drivers if your a sender would not recommend using DPD local as your customer will have the worst service and will reflect your brand. DO NOT USE!
