There are many reviews for Easirent, I came prepared and had a wonderful experience. The 5002 Cypress St location in Tampa, FL is about a 6 minute car ride, note that there is a shuttle to the car rental lot, if ordering from Priceline, all the information about how to get onto the shuttle is listed from within the airport using the sky train...I took an Uber due to the actual time of day, Easirent is open until 10pm eastern. When I arrived at the vehicle pick up location, 5002 Cypress St, in Tampa FL, I was greeted by David, who was absolutely accommodating, super nice and friendly. Both he and his manager stayed late to accommodate me and others who arrived near closing, however they stayed late to assist those already on site, I arrived 2 minutes before closing (9:58pm they close at 10pm) Note that if your flight lands close to or after 930pm eastern, suggestion is to catch an Uber/taxi/app ride or other over to this car rental location (due to airport train and time frame). If catching your own ride, follow signs to baggage claim, and pick up your uber/taxi or other outside the baggage claim, it took about 6 minutes at that time of night. Note, that it's near impossible to catch an UBER/Taxi or other once at the rental location pickup spot (might be due to the location within the airport itself), plan on using the shuttle to get back to the airport upon dropping off your car, which runs every 25-30 minutes. Please have a copy of your auto insurance declaration page or a copy of your auto insurance on hand when picking up the vehicle, as upon dropping the vehicle off, you can be charged for not having proof of insurance. Getting back to David, thank you for staying past closing to accommodate others and myself, and thank you for being super helpful, kind, and knowledgable. It took 4 hrs to get to their location because all they had was 1 pickup driver from the airport. They will falsely charge your card for unauthorized fees and rental insurance. Don't rent from them or Expedia. They are scammers and their customer service agents are rude and slow. Worst car rental company.

ID GIVE THIS COMPANY NO STARS IF THAT WAS AN OPTION!
DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY. SAVE YOURSELF THE MONEY AND TIME. This whole experience booking a rental through you guys has been an ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE. First, the communication was subpar to what I expect from a rental company. To have no communication on the day of the pickup was unacceptable. I was not able to reach the branch where, I mind you, five plus employees were present when I arrived an hour and a half later after getting dropped off by the rental car bus to the rental car center, and their shuttle was supposed to "run every fifteen minutes." If you don't pay close attention, you'll have to call to find out you must go outside and wait for the shuttle. I also purchased what was supposed to be a "skip the line" fee, which was not what happened, so you guys scammed and frauded me with that option. We had to wait another hour and a half to get a car, and we signed in, and it was first come, first served. I had tentative plans that night that I missed because of your rental companies' negligence and timely customer service. If you have an event and are flying in the day off, expect a rental immediately. THIS IS NOT THE COMPANY TO RENT FROM. I will not use this rental company again when I come to DFW. It was the worst experience I have ever dealt with, and I've traveled for work for over a year every two weeks. The car smelled like I walked into an ashtray that had been sitting in the sun for over six months. The vehicle I purchased for the weekend almost wasn't available. They would put me in a different car than I opted into.

WHAT A JOKE OF A PLACE; I WOULDN'T BOTHER IF YOU GAVE THIS PLACE A BAD REVIEW BECAUSE OF YOUR HONEST EXPERIENCE; THEY DON'T GIVE YOU THE TIME OF DAY OR REPLY AFTER ASKING YOU TO REACH OUT TO THEM CONCERNING YOUR REVIEW. I'VE WAITED FOUR DAYS NOW, AND IT SAYS EXPIRED. THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU, JUST YOUR MONEY. IT MAY BE CHEAP, BUT IT ISN'T WORTH THE HEADACHE AND TIME WASTED!

After reading some of the reviews, I was a little worried. When we got to the location, we were given an upgrade, and the service was great! We were in and out in 10 minutes. We rented at Fort Lauderdale airport and the office is actually not in the airport. Once we figured out where we had to go to catch the shuttle, it was fine. The only problem is you get dropped off afterwards and have to catch a different shuttle to go to the terminal. Still was fine, had plenty of time. I would definitely use them again!

CANCEL YOUR RESERVATION! THESE PEOPLE ARE SCAMMERS! THEY CANCELLED OUR ORIGINAL RESERVATION WITH PRICELINE AND SAID THEY HAD A BETTER DEAL. THEY OFFERED A RIDICULAS AMOUNT WITH ADDITIONAL FEES AND WHEN WE DID'NT FALL FOR IT THEY GOT SOMEONE ELSE ON THE PHONE FROM A DIFFERENT LOCATION TRYING TO PULL US INTO ANOTHER DOLLAR AMOUNT.

I booked a rental car through Expedia found out this was not located in the airport of Houston. It was located at a hotel offsite. We had someone with us that was in a wheelchair. They provided a shuttle that was not handicap accessible. Me and my husband had to split up. I went to get the car had a problem because the reservation was in his name. They charged me more money now for a second driver, because he was not there to pick up the car. Then they asked me for a declaration page from the insurance company, which we do not travel with and did not have with us so then they charge the extra fee for that, this took a total of three hours from beginning to end as my husband and son at the airport outside, waiting for me to return to pick them up after three hours. This was a total nightmare. I was very unhappy and unsatisfied Customer.

Tip for consumers:
Don’t ever rent a car from them. The car was very dirty once we picked it up.

If I can give zero I would bad service, I got charged for having them shuttle me from the airport to the rental place. Plus I had my own insurance but was still charged 20.00 a day for liability insurance. They may be cheaper but watch out for the hidden fee's not worth it. Better to just get a car straight from the airport.

As soon as we walked into the building it was so hot. My boy friend and i where then crammed into this tiny, hot room with about 10 other people. The wait for the shuttle was long let alone the time it took the employees to get through the amount of people they had in the room. We were then hit with about 4 fees even though after I paid on the website it said I owed nothing. The car is dirty on the outside decent on the inside and drives fine. I would never recommend anyone to this place.

I rented from easirent in Houston TX. They did not advise that I had to call them for airport pickup (I waited until someone else assisted). Finally on 3rd attempt, I was provided with a rental that had front end damage. The male rep indicated with a circle on rental doc (had problems with the female). The day after I returned vehicle with same male rep - no conversation about front end damage that was indicated at time of rental, I was contacted by 3rd party about noted damage. The provided pics (by easirent) show image of the unprofessional "ghetto"?ayisha-the female? Who I refused to deal with further during rental (guess she is getting me). Needless to say, 3rd party also unprofessional. Now, just short of 30 days, I have not heard anything further from them - NOT EVEN an I am sorry. So, now i must reach out. This company is not worth your time or money. Another thing I did not like, you do not walk out with paper work...it comes in an email sometime later - bad business!

very unprofessional and dishonest company, do not provide receipt at time of service

The rental process is slow and takes a long time. By the time I got to the counter I ready to scream but Tina disarmed me and made the rest of the experience ok. The car rode good and performed as expected. Add extra time when renting from them and hopefully you have a Tina to help you because you will be pissed. The overall experience was ok.

The staff there is stupid and rude. They have no qualms about keeping people waiting for the most ridiculous reasons.

The process there is incredibly stupid. They make you sign a paper contract and then scan it. The scanner is incredibly slow and ancient because everything there is slow and ancient. The place looks like a third world office complete with dusty junk sitting around everywhere and third world lighting.

The also demand proof of insurance is you want to waive their insurance requirement but of course you don't find out until you are at the counter.

I would not even give them 1 star. This is a totally worthless zero star crap company.

DO NOT USE THIS PLACE. IT IS CHEAP BUT STILL NOT WORTH IT. THERE ARE MANY OTHER RENTAL COMPANIES. PAY A BIT MORE SO YOU CAN ACTUALLY RENT A CAR.

Reserved car on priceline. Total around $92 for 4 days (should have known it was too good to be true). Used debit card (money comes out immediately and no charge on their part for use), was told there would be a $70 charge to use the card and I HAD to be put on as a second driver even though I wasn't driving the vehicle (husband was). Tried to get me for the insurance but I had a copy of my policy to show my insurance covers it (they werent expecting that). All in all total price after all of the "other fees" was $251. On top of that we waited at the airport for 45 mins for the shuttle to come pick us up (advertised every 15-20 mns), The only reason I gave it a second star is because Juana was very helpful in at least giving us a free upgrade to a bigger, nicer vehicle. She was their only saving grace.

For a three day rental from Easirent Luton you will be charged £30 for petrol with Easirent claiming that they fill the car from the local petrol station with £30 pounds worth and do not add on any extra charges. However, I found that for a Citroen C1 rental that they had only put £20 of petrol in the car! The petrol gauge at the start of the rental showed 4 bars and I drove until the tank was empty. I then put in £30 of petrol at £1.109/L (27.1L) when the petrol gauge showed a full tank with 6 bars. Easirent in Luton buy their petrol from the Farley Green Petrol Station (they confirmed this) on *******7884 for £1.16/L- and £30 should have bought 25.8L. Easirent have therefore conned me out of £10 and since I thought that there was £30 of petrol in the car initially I then bought too much when I filled up - I actually put in £10 more than I needed to. So really they should be refunding me £20!

Rented a car from LHR, upgraded, long wait, car not serviced, dents scrapes and dirty interior, was dark so could not see. Poor reporting of the car condition. Return at EMA - jobsworth staff, resist overtones and uninterested in service. Never hire from these wide boys! Finally n refund as I was two weeks late. Despite all the photographs apparently service lights are normal?. Cheap is not better stick with reputable companies.

I rented thru them because I thought it was a good deal. I got a car with manual windows and locks. When I went back in to request a car with automatic locks, they said I did not request that and it would be $10/day more. It is 2020, what reputable company gives you rentals with manual locks/windows?

Y? What kind of business is that and how come they do not get in trouble service their clients this way? I ve tried to contact them by phone, mail, voice messages but 2 weeks late and answer from no one! Never ever rent from them!

The directions when landing in Ft. Lauderdale to have the Eadirent shuttle pick you are very unclear.
We went to the designated waiting place and called the phone number provided. I calked for 40 min. With no one even answeribg their phone! I finally got theough and they said they'd have the shuttle there in 15 min. We waiting 35 more min. In the hot sun as other ahuttles fir other car rental places came and went multiple times.
In the shuttle I had no seatbelt! It was broken and covered with duct tape!
We reserved a 'premium' vehicle. The guy at the counter told us it wasn't there and that if we upgraded to premium he could give us a vehicle now.

I told him that we had ALREADY reserved a premium vehicle and showed it to him from the app on my phone!

When we reserved it, I also paid the extra $50 for extra coverage (even though our insurance co. Told us that the full coverage insurance we have would be fine). That didn't stop him from hard selling THEIR insurance package. Be prepared with all your proof of insurance or they will insist you buy into their plan. Thankfully, we have great insurance and a quick phone call and they forwarded our paperwork right to my husbands husband's phone.

They will then try to convince you to buy a $75.00 toll pass. YOU DO NOT NEED IT.
In fact, all we did was program the google maos on our phobe app to "avoid tolls." No problem and it really didn't take us out if our way at all. In fact, at one point I was curious if there was a time difference to one location we were trying to get to and tried it both ways on my phone. No difference at all.

Also, if you have an early return flight, as we did, be prepared to schedule an Uber or Taxi in advance to take you back to the airport.
We are still waiting for the $500 deposit to be returned to our credit card. It's only been 7 days though so Ill give it another week before I start calling people.
I'll let you know if we have trouble getting it back.

One person told me that my refund will be in my card 5 to 7 days then someone else can tell me that they won't give me a refund because I return the car before time They are all liars and scammers don't trust them. People please be careful with this company. I rent the car from them and I brought all documents like passport, driving license, bank statement BUT they asked about proof of address (utility bill, etc), and it MUST BE paper, although today we receive almost everything online. My booking has been cancelled and I lost money, no chance for refund because the reason was no documents. Guy on reception was rude and unhelpful. The worst experience ever! And defo I do not recommend!

We reserved a car from the Fort Lauderdale airport and while standing in their office with 5 of us and luggage they said they have no cars and Don't have a clue as to why. Suggested we shuttle back to the airport to find something. What a joke this company is

Unprofessional lots of hidden charges, car was filthy inside and out. Barely made plane because they were almost an hour late opening up so there was no one to shuttle us to the airport, pended the 250 deposit for 20 days before coming off my credit card. No one should ever go there ever if there was a zero star rating that's what they deserve

I had reservations for 2 cars in Orlando (for a total of 16 passengers) that were made thru Expedia/AARP Travel. Our flight was delayed and when I called the number for the shuttle pickup, I received a message they were CLOSED. My confirmed reservations did not indicate their hours of operation and since they accepted a late night reservation, I expected they were open late. Apparently, this is not the case. When I called the next morning to arrange to pick up the cars, I was told that since we were a "no show" the prepaid reservations had been cancelled, with no refunds available. This is not right! AARP is not able to assist with this situation. When I called Easirent they continually transfer me to a voice mail that is too full to accept any more messages. What a SCAM business. NEVER do business with this company. I have reached out to my credit card company since no services were provided.
