Upon signing up to be an easy weddings vendor there's a few emails they send and in the second email or so right at the bottom they hide a years lock in contract. You have something silly like only 48 hours to cancel or you will be paying a whole years subscription for something you'll only get 2 or 3 enquirers through. Potentially a good avenue if your business is in a more remote area but overall feels pretty dishonest and definitely a large setback on fresh business's

Easyweddings contacts vendors and I as a photographer have paid a monthly plan of $330 to this website to put my ad on top, claiming I will have minimum 4 customers per month. None of my customers found me from this website and this websites just works for cheap and new photographers, Gumtree had more results than this. I have discussed with other photographer fellows and they claimed none of them had any customer from this site advertisement.

When Easy Weddings made contact with me I was a bit sceptical in starting my business as a wedding planner, after I spoke to Chelsea I was more than excited to get my business up and running and believe me they are exceptional at what they do. Hi Hayden, we've been trying to work out which business you're from so we can work this through. It would be great if you could contact us at service@easyweddings.com.au so we can chat further. There are several places where the 12-month subscription is stated, so it would be helpful for us to understand where this might have slipped through the cracks. As you know, the wedding buying cycle generally ranges between 12 and 24 months, with different services being booked at different times. That's why it makes sense that your campaign is live for 12 months minimum to give couples a chance to book you at the right time during their planning cycle.

I've been with Easy weddings as a vendor (Celebrant) for less than a year and I have to say that Damian Coyle, my account manager, has been one of the most helpful people on my Celebrant journey.
He is only ever too happy to help with any question, no matter how insignificant it might be and anything that I might be struggling with, he just knows how to help me resolve it... Without judgement.
There is nothing that he has not been able to advise me on or help me to resolve in terms of how to put my best business foot forward on Easy Weddings.
It really feels like he is genuinely interested in me as a person and a business and genuinely wants to help.
His interest in me/my business did not just stop at 'signing me up' as can often happen.
The continued relationship has surprised and pleased me.
Damian is responsive, positive, solution based, very friendly, a real asset and 'go to' person.
I'm grateful to have him helping me.
As a result of all of this helpfulness, I am getting so many enquiries and booking quite a few weddings.
Building my profile is still a work in progress in the shifting sands of this industry but Damian is across it all and always there to 'hold my hand'.
I must add that my future daughter in law strongly advised me to join with EW a long time ago but I remained hesitant for too long.
I'm glad I'm on board now though!

Easy Weddings will trick you into signing a 12-month contract after you pay for the service. They boast about high volume of clients but this is far from the truth. As a Business you are far more likely to see a return through alternative advertising methods; Google, Facebook etc. Easy Weddings is extremely over priced and provides no guarantee of any benefit from using their service. There is a reason why their google & Facebook reviews have been turned off. Stay clear of Easy Weddings!

I was so stressed out planning my wedding And had zero help. The checklists and app made by easy weddings helped me so much! It really is so much easier when you have everything stored and in front of you. The lovely team followed up after my wedding to get some feedback on my chosen suppliers which was also good validation that they only work with the best. Thank you!

I had signed up for a 12 month contract for Easy Weddings to advertise my videography services on their directory from 23/11/22 to 23/11/23 at $99 per month.
I was unsuccessful with the advertisement so a few months back I spoke with Easy Weddings staff on the phone and requested to cancel my contract. However they informed me I had to keep paying $99 monthly until the end of the 12 months.
Without my consent my contract was rolled over for another year and I refused to keep paying. I have finally organized for my account to be cancelled on 23/1/24 after having two months rolled over that I had not asked for yet I am being charged for them.
I had assumed that after 23/11/23 my Easy Weddings account would finish, my payments would finish. I did not make the decision to renew the account for a further 12 months.
I am now expected to pay for the Months of December and January at a total of $198 which I feel this was against my wishes. Easy Weddings have informed me that they will take this $198 to debt collectors.

I wish to have this matter resolved.

With no business over the past year because of covid they lock you in with 12 months and make you pay the full amount while you get zero inquiries.
As a business stay CLEAR of easy weddings unless you want to pay your money for nothing.

Tip for consumers:
Don't use it.

Hi Amber. We've been trying to chat with you since May of last year, your account manager has called 17 times. We're not sure why you declined to have even one conversation with us about your campaign. So, to call Easy Weddings a scam is simply not true. You've also given us one star on shipping and returns — we are a digital platform, we don't do shipping and returns. COVID affected the wedding industry drastically, ourselves included, and during that time, we helped thousands of wedding businesses, both financially and with moral support. We're sorry we didn't have the opportunity to work with you as we do with our other clients, but it wasn’t for a lack of trying. We wish you all the best with promoting your wedding favours to couples in the future.

EasyWeddings will scam vendors into signing a 12-month contract (there was no mention of a 12 month lock in and no contract, simply a phone call). They will then tell you they will be able to get you to reach all of your sale targets and more, which they basically do nothing and charge you $50+ per month. You are better off spending money elsewhere on advertising. I asked 3 friends (who were wedding planning) when I signed up with easyweddings if they'd used them, they said they hadn't even heard of easyweddings. My "12 month contract" was due to expire Feb 2020, so in September 2019 I requested it be cancelled. Here we are in April 2020 and they have only just cancelled it after I had to make a second request it be cancelled. They continued to charge me per month, then had the audacity to tell me they were doing me a favour by not charging me for April as I hadn't given them 30 days notice of cancellation. It is no wonder at all they have their facebook and google reviews off. Absolute scam, all they want is your money, they will tell you they want to help you grow your business, but all they want is to grow the bank balance.

Had you been able to return their phone calls and make the changes they suggested to improve your storefront, things may have been different. Even so, you have received direct enquiries from couples and storefront views, most couples end up going to your social media/your website for more information. Our campaign period is for a minimum of 12 months to enable couples to find you throughout their engagement period. We contacted you in writing to let you know that the campaign would roll over on a month-to-month basis at the end of your initial 12 months. We're confused as to why you didn't return any of our calls. We have more than 100 Google reviews with a star rating of 4.6 which shows that many other clients have found success using Easy Weddings. We're still keen to work with you, Jesse. We'd love to talk this through with you on 1800 155 122.

Like many, we signed a 12 month contract and soon regretted having done so... Fake leads, and a company-spin targeted at the promotion of upgrading, soon leaves one feeling disillusioned, and more than a bit had -- especially considering the cost... So far, entirely our fault though; we were naive, and acted rashly in signing with a company the we hadn't fully researched...

A few years on, and we still find that our OLD listing, with OUTDATED DETAILS AND IMAGERY is still visible on their site, despite our requesting that our old profile be removed from their system.

Their spokesperson has a) said they would get onto it, and b) on a seperate occasion has stated that they do not have the capability to remove our old profile from their own software...

Beware a company that will potentially date your business in such a detrimental way!

I have been supported since the day I signed up to Easy Weddings. Belinda Letts being my amazing account manager is the icing on the cake. Belinda is there for me any time I need help or advice with my Easy Weddings campaign. I get the majority of my enquiries through easy weddings and I would not be able to run my business the way I do with out them! The CRM they provide is also very user friendly and quick to use when you need, so you can keep on top of your sales leads on your phone when you are on the go as well as in the office. If you are not already advertising with EW I suggest you get on board especially if you are looking to expand! One more thing, my account manager helped me give my storefront a freshen up and within 12 hours of making the changes she suggested, I had 2 new enquiries! Not even kidding!

Tip for consumers:
Sign up! You wont regret it. So good for business. Honestly its the best advertising money spent!

I have advertised my DJ business on Easy Weddings for the past 12 years and during this time I have found all the staff to be very friendly, efficient and always willing to assist. I have had 2 websites designed and built by the web team and they are always more than willing to accomodate to my requests. Advertising on Easy weddings has helped my business grow with a steady stream of enquires that I respond to on a daily basis. A special mention to Sarah, Chelsea, Courtney, Gal, Ian, Tyler and Ven who help out with any questions that I have. They are an absolute pleasure to deal with and I would highly recommend advertising on Easy Weddings to anyone looking to grow their wedding business.

We were unaware that this business allows vendors to remove reviews they do not like. We had the worst experience with Taronga Centre, and yet no one will know as the review was taken away. I only used Taronga Centre as I saw glowing reviews on EasyWeddings. When we questioned where our review went, Easy Weddings said this process of removing reviews is allowed. If you want a skewed view of the places to use, this is the website. I personally wouldn't trust it.

We're so sorry that your experience at Taronga Centre didn't live up to your expectations considering the dozens of positive reviews that have been left for them. It's true, we do give suppliers the option to remove one review every calendar year and on this occasion Taronga chose to remove yours. This option helps suppliers to manage their reputation in the face of a one-off bad experience. Suppliers who consistently receive bad feedback are very quickly called out via reduced star rating, and for repeated poor customer service it's our experience that they eventually part ways with Easy Weddings. This helps us keep the quality of vendors to a high standard.

Thanks to EW, i have been able to implement dozens of changes and improve my business. From the webinars to the social media and marketing tips at events, there have been huge opportunities from them since I began with them. I think to get the best results you have to be willing to put in the effort and work with them. It's not like an old school print ad that you run and forget about. It's more like instagram. You don't set that up and forget, you use it. EW is the same.

Don't set and forget. If you aren't getting results or benefits, work with them on it.

Easy Weddings has been a great experience for me and my business. Whilst not only generating extra business, the educational webinars and industry updates provided by the EW team have been invaluable during these past 2 years of Melbourne lockdowns. I really look forward to joining these when I can. I particularly enjoyed the recent Social Media training which was fantastic.

Advertised my dress on this site for a fee, did not receive a single enquiry - unusual for the most inexpensive dress listed. Could never find my dres listing when searching for it outside of my login. Easy Weddings had ads all over Facebook before I listed then disappeared entirely as soon as they had my money. Tried to contact them after nearly a year of "selling" my dress and have heard nothing at all. Poor service, save your cash and avoid this company.

Signed up to this bs after was called from a gumtree add for live music that they had a shortage of performers in Perth, was promised more gigs than I know what to do with, the man on phone was very nice and from there it's downhill

I signed $55 for the month but what they don't tell you is they charge you a year worth
They make excuses and tell you they have phone appointment to start your store front
You answer and they hang up and then say our next availability is 2 weeks

I got 0 leads in 3 months and I am very busy in my town, so wasn't from lack of content or quality, I had the lowest prices for doing a wedding and even put it to $300 for a whole wedding and no responses, what does that tell you? Scam

Went to bank, I cut my card off with them and they sent me to debt collectors for 600$

It's true that campaigns with Easy Weddings are for a 12 month period - this is because of the long buying cycle of couples choosing products and services for their wedding. There would be no point shortlisting you for their wedding only to have you disappear from their saved suppliers before they're ready to plan that part.

Regarding your storefront appointment, as we spend a full hour with you going through what's needed to create a successful listing with us, we do need to schedule appointments in for a time where we can both get the most out of it.

We made the mistake of signing up to Easy Weddings during a period of significant flux for our business and it was the worst decision we have made in 13 years in the industry in Queensland. The site boasts vast amounts of traffic, doubtless swelled by their top-of-the-page ranking on just about every bridal search (clearly funded by the exorbitant fees paid by vendors) and we took the second tier of advertising, being promised "more enquiries per month than you will be able to service". What a joke! In a year we received a total of 5 enquiries (despite being boosted to the top tier service for the last three months of the contract after we complained), all of whom were completed price motivated and uninterested even by our highly competitive rates. We couldn't wait to be finished with them and asked for our page to be taken down as we did not wish to imply any form of endorsement, however, despite a number of times of asking, it was not, and, to our horror, a year later one of our brides, (who thought she was doing us a favour) left a 5 star review on our page which was automatically downgraded to a 3 star review thanks to Easy Wedding 's policy for "non-advertisers". This fake rating review has been picked up by Google, massively damaging our reputation and causing several couples to choose another provider. Despite 6 attempts to contact this organisation over 2 years I have still not had the offending page removed and although I have had some contact and promises of action recently (though only I threatened to attend one of their sales pitches in Brisbane), they have simply redirected the page and left the information searchable by Google's robots and therefore still poisoning my business.

I made the mistake of joining this platform and being locked into a 12 month contract! I think it is terrible that they do not offer a 3 month lock in and to see how you go and then you are able to go month to month.

As a make up artist I had maybe 10 enquiries in the whole year and not one make up job. I spent over $700 for nothing. I then go to cancel my contract a few days before the 12 month is up and I was told that I actually have to cancel a month in advance and that I will have to pay an extra month because they cannot just cancel it. There are so many other make up artist on this site it is ridiculous!

Never will I use easy weddings again, and so know several make up artists musicians who said I was stupid to join easy weddings in the first place!

You are correct we ask for a 12-month agreement. We do this as the buying cycle of couples is often over a 12 month period, and your listing can be "saved as a favourite supplier" by couples wanting your Make-Up services. It also gives us time to work with you to help you grow your business. In your case, it appears you went to the lowest level of advertising, and you received over 10 enquiries. If you would like more enquiries, and also how you can convert more into sales, we need to talk. We can easily help you as we are passionate about helping wedding businesses grow! Speak soon!

Reluctant as I was to spend more money in my celebrant business set up, I could see that in this challenging Covid year, I needed to get my name and face out there and that just wasn't going to happen despite my lovely website and every friend telling me I was perfect for the role. Damian set up my profile using my website info and pics and the rest is history. I started getting enquiries immediately and despite lockdowns etc, in half a year I will have done 8 weddings and booked 18! I find the support fantastic, Damian always has great tips for me and a genuine interest in my success.
