This company does not know what they are doing. I have been getting an inhaler from my local retail preferred pharmacy. Express scripts has told me I have to start using their mail order pharmacy. I have a coupon for the inhaler that I can use at my local pharmacy that makes the medication free. Express scripts will not allow me to use the coupon and the medication cost more at their mail order pharmacy. Every time you call them it is a different story. This company is the worst.

Your order is unlikely to be filled or shipped on time. Then if you contact customer service they are NO help they even lied to me! Our insurance switched us to the service in January and it's been an ongoing headache.
The PA in the hospital I was in sent a prescription to Express Scripts when it should not have been sent there. I caught it and asked her to call and cancel the order. 1-1/2 hour after she sent it, she called and cancelled it. It NEVER got put into the computer to be cancelled. The medication was one that I needed for 10 days only! I called them to and see if it had been canceled and it was not. 5 days later I was emailed that they had sent it. I had the prescription sent to a pharmacy here at home and I picked it up the day I was released from the hospital and paid for it out of pocket. I now have meds that I will NEVER take and have to pay Express Scripts for it. They said 1-1/2 hours was not time enough to cancel the order. Express Scripts will not cancel the charge. This morning I called to order a refill and they told me that I had cancelled it. I never cancelled it as it is a med I have to take for the rest of my life. I have turned this matter over to my Senator in hopes he can help me. This is not the first time they have done this to me.
If I could get rid or express scripts they would have been gone years ago. That said, I can not get rid of them unless I get rid of my insurance plan. I can not get rid of my insurance plan at this point because I can not find an insurance that is better than them but I am still looking. Therefore the only other way I can get express scripts is write a review of them. You will notice I gave them a one star. I wish that I could rate them in a negative star rating. This is the worst company for giving any type of help to a person trying to get a medicine covered by insurance. They do not help you and they do everything in there power to stop you from finding any kind of help to get your medications let alone at a reasonable price. Good RX and other sites like them are cheaper cost then express scripts and you do not have to put up with all the crape dished out like express scripts does. For instant there is a drug called
Guanfacine. It is used for high blood pressure. Express scripts wants $128.00 for a 3 month supply. Good RX wants $30.06 for the same. Other medications express scripts wants copay at $24.00 while pillpack.com wants $2.49 for the same medications for a one month supply and they put it in a nice package for you. There is so much wrong with express scripts I can not think of what to put in this review. I'm trying not to get myself sued here and stick to facts provable without much problems. Express scripts has to watch the privacy laws a little more closer and the doctor patient relationship laws a little more closer because they are border line here. I even have been called names in print even that are not very nice. I have been since last December to try and get my medications paid for by express scripts. This is now May. I guess that is about all I can wright about them without checking with a Lawyer first. I would love to just cover them with dog poo because that is what they are worth to me. Stay Tune, Roses
They make a difficult situation worse with extremely bad, inconsistent communication.
1. I cancelled a prescription by mistake Fri. I realized immediately it was a mistake, called, got reinstated so it's in process again, I think.
Tue. Their site says it's still cancelled. Again, call, get back in process.
Today, Thur., call and am told it is in process. So WHY DOES SITE SAY IT'S CANCELLED IF IT'S IN PROCESS, I ask. The guy tells me it's because it's in process. HUH!?
2. I get email saying they can't fill a different prescription due to not available and that they've tried to contact my doc about this unsuccessfully. That's ALL the email says. I go to their site and it says "Waiting for information from you" but doesn't say what info. So I call, ask what info they want, and find out they want the doc to say what med to use instead. FINE. BUT WHY DON'T YOU SAY THAT IN YOUR EMAIL TO ME?
I've had to make so many calls to them JUST BECAUSE THEY DON'T SAY WHAT THEY MEAN, either on their site or in their emails. It's nuts!
Do they want us to have to call a lot to find out what's going on?
