“SUCKS”

This company is a rip off, we purchased multiple movie all of which would either 1.) not correspond with the device code or 2.) pause 1 second into the movie, load forever than proceed with and "error" indication. We called customer service, who was USELESS, we talked in circles for a few minutes than she said corporate management would email us in 3-5 business days. No refund and absolutely no help. AVOID THIS SCAM OF A BUSINESS

My first issue is that they don't give you your money back if you miss the movie or late they will just credit you! Also fandango and fandango now aren't honoring rewards purchase! My rewards has not been added to my rewards account! Also I was sent a 20% off coupon to my email with no redeem code which was frustrating as hell

I attempted to rent a movie and my balance on my gift card that has never been used was dipleated by $20.00. I contacted support and the first lady did not know what she was doing so that was a waste of my time. The second rep told me i had to wait 3-5 days to get a response from the corporate office. All i wanted to do was watch a movie not have to take almost an hour out of my life is find my own missing money.

We PURCHASED a movie and literally every 2-5 min it would load and load and load and wouldn't stop until we restarted the entire thing. We NEVER have issues like this with any other movie service. Netflix, prime, Hulu. They all work great but fandango totally sucks. Will never use again.

Discrimination towards Canadians to refuse to offer streaming like everyone else... It look promising with IMAX enhanced for my Sony Bravia but just not possible for us to enjoy great service providers! American only pffff

The quality of the movies that you stream are good however the app and promo codes For $5 free that are sent out are completely confusing and take me 20 minutes to figure out each time. You would think they would have it fixed by now

I've now watched 3 films on FandangoNow, and all of them have grown more and more out of sync (the pictures not matching the dialogue) as the films progressed. I have written to FandangoNow at least four times and filled out their purposeless surveys - never receiving one word in reply.

Reps will do anything not to do their job and actually assist you. They kept stating contradictory reasons why my rewards were not working without actually listening to my concerns. Total lack of empathy and product understanding. Would not use site again.

I ordered and paid $21.75 for this movie. Upon hitting play I immediately realized there was very little sound. My television had to be turned all the way up to 100 just to barely hear the movie. Normally we watch our television at a max of 24.3 mins and 28 seconds into the movie I called your tech support and spoke with Richard, whom helped me troubleshoot the issue with zero resolve. He offered his apology and the assistance of in 24/48 hours someone would contact me! That's absolutely ridiculous! I asked for a manager and spoke with Cailynn whom told me there was nothing she could do as I had already hit play, are you kidding me? I spent 30 mins on the phone without any help. While I was waiting I ordered the same movie from Amazon Prime Video, and it played just fine, volume and all! I am demanding a refund as it's very clear to me that the issue is on your end and not ours. I'm beyond unhappy with the blatant disregard for customer care and experience. I will NEVER use your company again, ever! Maybe in the future you should give your customers the benefit of the doubt and at the very least treat them with a level of importance because after all without them you have zero business! Disgusting

TERRIBLE Service, POOR Excuse for Customer Support. DISHONEST Management.

AVOID this service at all costs. My family and I purchased 3 movie rentals during Memorial Day weekend, each with 30 days to watch. We watched 2 of them that night, but the 3rd movie Tom Hanks Neighborhood we invited family over Friday night June 12th for movie night.

The Fandango screen on the Sony TV indicated 9 days left to begin viewing, but did not have a Watch Now button, just Trailer, Synopsis, and $20 PURCHASE OPTIONS. We then tried the same on AppleTV and in Mac and PC web interfaces trying to figure out what we were doing wrong.

Calling Support kept two different phones on hold for over 2 hours with NO RESPONSE, NO on-hold music or messages, nothing. BLACK HOLE.

After several attempts I was able to get someone to respond to on-line chat, and was told "Sorry, the Studio pulled the film from rental rights. Contact them." I not so politely told them my business transaction was NOT with the STUDIO but was with FANDANGO, and expected them to make it right.

That agent was not authorized to help in any way, no refund, no watch, nothing. After a lengthy plea I was able to get him to transfer me to Corporate Admin department, who basically said the same thing. They REFUSED to make it right and said he had many other chats on hold, and terminated the session in RUDE manner.

Save yourself the frustration, and AVOID FANDANGO at ALL COSTS. We used to purchase tickets weekly from them, but NEVER AGAIN. THey've lost my trust. This is a DISHONEST BUSINESS, business term used lightly. It's RUN BY CROOKS.

CAVEAT EMPTOR - you've been warned.

Tip for consumers:
DO NOT EVEN ENTERTAIN USING THEIR STREAMING SERVICE Fandango NOW. It's a sham. Movie Quality is sub par, and they'll RENT you a movie, take your money, and then tell you the STUDIO no longer lets them rent it, and it's my job to contact the STUDIO, even though my business was transacted with FANDANGO NOW unfortunately. NEVER AGAIN, loyal customer GONE FOR LIFE !!

I signed up with FandangoNow and rented a movie. But it would not play. It started the movie then after loading for a long time it gave an error message. I asked for a refund. FandangoNow claims they didnt charge me for it but it is right there in my banking statement. I sent them a screenshot of my bank account but they still wouldn't give me my money back or even credit me so that I could watch a different movie. I have sent multiple emails and now they tell me they dont do refunds via email. Every email they have a different excuse. Their customer service is horrible and they flat out wont give me my money back even though I am just asking for $4.30.

Try to fast forward and wait 20 minutes.
Terrible bandwidth allocation.
This service will be gone in a year.

They don't store gift card information, they DO store your credit card information. So if you watch a movie using a gift card, but then throw the card away assuming (fairly, since every other retailers does this) that your gift card will be stored on their service, you'll be out whatever the gift card balance was. So now I'll be terminating our account with Fandango and not using their service for any reason, as well as telling the PTO at the leadership level not to gift Fandango cards to teachers because of this crap policy. Terrible policy, especially considering how low their marginal cost must be to deliver content and/or save gift card information.

I had a credit from Fandango for movie theater tix that I bought for my me and my family just before COVID hit. My movie was cancelled and I was given a Fandango credit for $50+. Later, once we realized later that going to a movie theater was not going to happen for a long while, I found out that I could transfer my credit to FandangoNOW. What a joke! Worst quality ever. I tried 3 different movies and the movies just stops every 5 minutes. I spent more time watching the little circle go round and round than I did watching the actual movie. When I contacted them and said put my credit back so I could use it at actual movie theaters once COVID was over, they said "sorry" we cant do that. Once you switch, that's it. They said they switched me over to FandangoNOW as a "courtesy!" What? Well, thank you for the courtesy of ripping me off. I wish I would have done a little homework before switching, but who knew? Unbelievable. Seriously, RUN away, don't walk away from FandangoNOW. Oh, and they'll tell you that nobody in your household can be on a computer at the same time as a movie. Nope. Been there, done that. Nothing works. From trying to watch during Prime Time to the middle of the night, nothing works. And they could care less... Ugh!

Tip for consumers:
Do your homework before getting FandangoNOW. You'll thank me...

I just tried to rent movie on FandangoNow and that's was absolutely terrible. Page was not found on phone and PC. I got that movie for the same price from Amazon in 10 second.

I purchased an expensive movie bundle and it's useless because their app doesn't work. I can't even watch the movies on my iPhone. I emailed customer service weeks ago requesting a refund and they just now got back to me with no help whatsoever. They had the nerve to tell me that they are SO busy and have ZERO days to respond so are discarding my email! I was told if my issue is not resolved (an impossibility since I have ZERO days!) to go into chat room or call customer service. I called and was on hold for hours and never got ahold of anyone. No one was in their chat room. How is this joke of a company still in business!? I'm reporting them to the BBB, letting everyone I know to never do business with them, and posting reviews on the net for others to steer clear from them. Run for the hills from these thieves! HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE!

Got a 50% discount on a rental after ordering tickets for Logan. The directions were not clear and led me to renting a movie on my TV and not showing me how to apply the discount. After figuring out the app was mgo and NOT fandangoNOW app on my Samsung smart TV, I had to register my device which said it got registered. I then went to play my 6$ 24 hour rental then an error came up and said that my TV was not registered and I should go to a website to figure it out. I went to that website and it did not exists. I then e-mailed them and let them know what happened and I never got a response (still 2 weeks later).
