My partner and I moved to our property with seemingly nothing wrong with it however that all changed a day or two after moving in. Our fire alarm goes off constantly for no reason and sets of the communal alarm at the worst times (early hours). We discovered exposed electrical circuitry in multiple locations, our windows have been painted open (in the middle of winter) by a sloppy, cheap job. Our extractor fan leaks a disgusting brown / black liquid, 2 of the radiators don't even work and the list goes on. Francis Stuart knowingly put people in properties that are unsuitable for habitation and then do Jack all when it comes to sorting it out. I truly regret going through them and advise people (especially young people new to the property market) to stay well, well away from such a disfunctional company!

If you are seeking or have a room to let, avoid this one. They regularly advertise rooms to let on SpareRoom in SW England. The problem is, they won't show you the room! They expect you to sign a contract based on the pictures they provide you. They claim covid is the reason they can't show the room, but government restrictions for covid have been gone for months. Besides, if you're going to rent a room in a shared house, everyone in the house will be exposed to you anyway. Think of it this way, would you sign a contract to buy a car, never having seen in person with no test drive? I have requested to see several rooms, but they've always refused me "due to covid restrictions." If your business requires you to meet with people and you constantly make excuses to avoid meeting, then you're in the wrong business.
Tip for consumers:
Avoid... unless you're comfortable with signing a six month lease without ever having seen the property.
