We have had our huge dining table and chairs for just over a month now and everyone loves them. I just found these reviews after searching for the site again to order a coffee table and console, which I will be doing. You will not go wrong here if my experience is anything to go by, much better than I have seen in the big stores.

I must admit I was a little apprehensive about ordering when I read the review above but after speaking with the people at the company a few times I felt at ease and ordered a table and chairs.

The set arrived exactly to the day they said it would and my wife and I are delighted with it and value for money is excellent.

I am not sure what happened with the lady who had the problem but I would recommend this company to my friends.

We are now looking at the wine barrel chandeliers and will soon be placing an order for at least one of those (maybe two if I can talk wifey in to parting with a little more money)

In 2013 I purchased a 9' trestle table, eight chairs, and two side tables. It took longer than promised to receive the product. I was then contacted four months after the product was delivered and they said my order was ready for shipment.

The Trestle table started splitting in two different locations. The cracks are about 1/2" each and show that the tables are actually a veneer, not solid construction as claimed on the website. I can see through the crack to the floor. The end tables are also cracking.

I've sent several emails with pictures and left several voice messages and have not had a response. I would not consider ordering anything from them.

I just want to try to order in the website furniture looks great! But I need to waiting to see more review.

We ordered a sideboard, dining table and chairs mid December. They called 2 days later with shipping details and it was delivered exactly as promised in time for the holidays. The items we ordered are better than expected, great value and service. Highly recommended.

We received our first order yesterday, an 8' iron edge dining table in teak, it is amazing, we are so pleased. I had read the bad review on here which seamed excessive so we gave the company a call and spoke to Sandi, she was very helpful and made us feel very comfortable. So we ordered online with our credit card, so no risk at all really. We got a call a few days later and the table arrived as arranged. The delivery guys brought it into the dining area, I was so pleased and can't praise them enough. I haven't seen the table anywhere else but I'm sure we got a great price.

I am currently researching a specific sofa table I found on line. This is one of TWO places that offer it. The other place has the table for over $2,000 and I need to go through a ratailer. French Country Furniture has it for HALF the price, including shipping. It comes assembled (as all fine pieces should). The CSR I have been dealing with is Sandi and she has gone ABOVE AND BEYOND my expectations. I am currently waiting to see several other pics of the piece and she is visiting the warehouse PERSONALLY to take the pics and make sure I get the shots I requested. I am currently considering only one other table, which is a unique antique and not available in the retail arena (private party sale). If I order from French Country, I will have the added feature of buyer protection through my credit card company, which I will not have if I choose the antique. I hope this post helps anyone considering this company.

Dina was great, very helpful. Just received the chandelier and table, nicer than one we had seen in a store and we paid quite a bit less. Our first major internet purchase we will be getting more from Dina.

Stay away! I ordered a table and Never Received it. I called at least 10 times and never got a phone call back. Worst Ever!

The prices are cheaper but save yourself a scam and the headache and purchase from RH or ANYWHERE else instead. The hastle of dealing with this company is not worth the savings. I purchased a chandelier from this company at the end of July, 2013. I have yet to receive the item and it is now March 6,2014. At this point we will likely never receive our $1700 chandelier. I have emailed the company repeatedly with no response. I have resorted to calling them. Every time they give me the same story of the supplier and how it will be in in 4 to 6 weeks. This is only after I call them at least 4 times before anyone will return my call. They never bother to call and tell you or offer any communication whatsoever that you will never be receiveing your merchandise. I honestly think this site should be shut down for scamming people out of $$. I cannot review the actual product because it is likely to never come. How anyone ever got merchandise from this company is beyond me. I think the good reviews are fake.

"This place is a joke- dont waste your time. Ordered the 96 inch trestle table back in Feb. Each and everytime I call for a status they tell me "its being loaded and shipped this week." I never received it. Dealing with these people has been a nightmare. If you dont call them you wont hear anything from them. Bottom line- I dont think they have a reliable supplier and I doubt they can actually get half of what is on thier website. Dont waste your time with these people. They flat out lie to you when you call them, complete waste of my time. I truly believe that the positive reviews are being posted by employees of french country furniture direct.

We ordered the 84" Teak Wood Trestle table along w/ 2 benches. Was quoted 4-6 weeks but had to wait more than 4 months. Were told that the owner will deliver and put the furniture together since we live close by in Florida. Well, the owner did finally deliver the furniture but claimed ignorance about putting the furniture together. My wife called me and I told her to refuse shipment if they don't assemble it. Once they tried to assemble it, they realized that they were missing some pieces and needed more tools because one of the pieces was not cut right. Another 2 weeks later (w/ me having to call several times) and they came back to put it together again. Unfortunately I was not home or I would've told them to pack it back on their truck and give me a refund. What they left behind was definitely a very good looking table but the darn thing was so wobbly that you could not eat on it. I had to get out my own tools to tighten the various bolts and that's when I could see the real shoddy work they did putting it together. These tables are made in Indonesia and the workmanship is very poor. The holes don't line up right and the wood is sometimes too soft in places to withstand a real good tightening of bolts. It actually looked like they got the wrong size bolts because they were way too skinny for the holes. I finally managed to get it so it can support a few diners but it's not a solid table by any stretch of the imagination. Also, when I hammered a piece of wood to get it lined up correctly, I noticed some wood dust covered bugs that started coming out of the table. Makes me think they are termites but I can't tell for sure. The benches were solid and worth it but I would be VERY weary of ordering the table. I would not recommend it to a friend. I don't think the owners give a darn about customer service. The woman on the phone was very nice but totally clueless. All she could do was apologize for the long wait, shipping the benches w/out the table, the poor assembly job they did, etc. I still can't believe that one of the guys who delivered and assembled the table was one of the owners. That business won't last for long w/ such customer service.

Slow to ship, slow (if ever) to handle problems, returns, refunds. Items shown on website not necessarily what you can expect to receive.

I will not order from this website after multiples tries at unsatisfsactory email correspondance and no response from the phone #'s. I question the legitimacy of this co.

Completely untrustworthy website. The furniture is beautiful, so it appears to be a real find! Instead, it is a giant black hole as far as I've seen. I ordered a salvaged wood table on November 9, and before doing so, was quoted 2 weeks for arrival date via e-mail from their sales department. I expected the table around Nov 23, in time for Thanksgiving. I had no problem getting them to e-mail me back BEFORE I placed the order. However, once I bought the table, they stopped responding. It is now over 7 weeks later, and they will not tell me what is going on. I am still sending multiple e-mails and had left multiple phone messages. FYI - there's no live person to answer phones nor to answer their "live" chat. They answered the live chat only once, and when they found out it was about an order that was already placed, they told me they'd e-mail me later. They did NOT until I left several angry messages a couple days later. At first they do not respond for days, and then at one point... for weeks. Worst of all, they eventually did respond and gave me hope, telling me a date. The most recent date was December 17. Then it didn't arrive on that date, and they didn't even call or e-mail. I had left a total of 6 messages at one point, and after being given the date, I waited home for 2 days expecting the delivery. They didn't e-mail me back. They neither respond to their phone nor have ever once returned a phone call. My husband and I have now e-mailed so many times it's become a joke. They have our credit card info, address business info and personal info on file, so if they are a fraudulent site, we fear we could be faced with identity theft. I wrote an e-mail telling them we'd report them as fraudulent if we did not receive the table, but they denied being a non legitimate site, yet never sent the table. My last e-mails demanded that they atleast explain to us why they never called to say it n't arrive, and when or if it will. During the 7 weeks, I had 2 events for which I needed the table, and because they kept giving me hope and dates, I assumed it was coming. At this point we are completely skeptical and infuriated. Please don't let this happen to you!
