“It's a scam”

In my week trial period everything worked fine. They billed my creditcard for the year, and suddenly I can't cast to my tv with the chromecast. I chose gaia for the casting option. They would not give my money back, but I don't get the experience I paid for. They say that only 6% is using casting, so I think this problem is nog high on their list. I'm very disapointed. I now try to get my money back through the creditcard company.

GAIA content has gotten quite slim in 2023, with most of the new series revolving around yoga and channeling. Nothing against either of these things but they are now forming the bulk of the new material on the network and in general, I do not think that new material would be of greatest interest to the majority of the Membership.

Shows in which I do have great interest in terms of the both the guests and topics are Open Minds (Regina Meredith) and Beyond Belief (George Noory), Having said that, each needs a new host. While both Regina and George have interesting content and guests, each of them never stops talking long enough for their guest(s) to really speak. Each episode then becomes a monologue of Regina interviewing herself, or George himself.

A season 5 of Ancient Civilizations would be something that might make me keep my GAIA Membership longer. In addition, a new season of any of the following, all of which are great shows with excellent hosts, would probably make me renew:
- CodeX - Robert Grant
- Inner Evolution - Bruce Lipton
- anything with Greg Braden
- anything with Linda Moulton Howe
- anything new with Freddy Silva
- some new material from David Icke

Tip for consumers:
A great new-age channel. New shows need to focus on the core materials that have made GAIA great like Ancient Civilizations. Some hosts need to be replaced (Regina Meredith, George Noory) to make high-interest series watchable.

They charged me 3 years in a row without me knowing, after I cancelled my subscription (even when I tried logging into the app, it said I didn't have a subscription). Mary from customer service asked for email proof of the cancellation, then said that even if I had the email proof, they would not refund the $297 total charges from 3 years, and only $99 from the current charge from today/this year. She kept sending me generic copy and paste responses, saying to read the Terms of Service, and then she completely ghosted me, and I think it was because I realized she had lied to me about some information. I think the company should have refunded me in good faith, especially if they could see I hadn't accessed the app in the time period after I cancelled my subscription, and couldn't access it even if I tried. I'm not sure why a multi-million dollar corporation that acts like it wants to help people, couldn't help with something that was an obvious glitch on their end. I'm still confused as to why she asked me for the email confirmation and transaction numbers for all 3 years in my bank statement if they still wouldn't refund me with that proof. Something seems fishy... They were charging me, and said I didn't cancel my subscription, so then why couldn't I log into the app from the email they were charging without it saying I needed a subscription?!

I LOVE Gaia.com! There are so many videos to watch for your at home yoga practice or Tai Chi, meditation, etc. There are two series I love to watch: Yoga Every Day and the new YED Beginner Series. Also, there are a ton of movies (yes, some are a little on the conspiracy theory side, but many are just plain cool!) Try the app via your Roku, iTunes store, or Android device. I've used it via Roku and my iPad and both work very well.

In 1/19, I subscribed to a $99 year's subscription to Gaia. Two months later, I requested to cancel the unused portion of my subscription, which would be approx $70. They failed to honor my request, which was made more than once.
