“Not a happy camper!”

I've purchased GATE product before with mixed feelings overall. The lock, keypad, and physical worked great. Had a few problems with the intercom feature as it was garbled and at times did not work at all. The app was limited and at times useless since the delay was sometimes up to 30 minutes to unlock the door. I emailed the support email requesting support for the intercom. Was given basic troubleshoot steps as well "follow the included with lock instructions should resolve the issue". Why would I email for support if the resolution is in the included manual... Horrible support. Giving the benefit of doubt for the product. I purchased another GATE as this would be the perfect solution for someone in my families business. So I decided to give them one as a Christmas present. I was notified that the lock would not fit on their companies door. The only way was to change the other lock installed. This was not an option so I needed to return the product. I emailed support again to start the return process. The return policy was only valid within 30 days of purchase. Since this was a Christmas present I purchased this earlier to allow for shipping and proper installation. Support notified me that they are not able to help me since it was outside the 30 day period of time. Support even said they talked to their manager with no success. I'm confident from my prior experience with support this was not the actual case. So now I have a $300 door stop. I will NEVER buy another GATE. I lost $300. GATE lost a customer and a lot of potential referrals. There are plenty of other solutions to choose from out there. NEVER AGAIN GATE!

Bought 2 locks, they never worked kept getting disconnected finally after several replacements they agreed to sending me a return label for refund. That was months ago and now I can't even reach corporate. My next complaint will be with FCC and small claims filing - the worst customer service in the world. The product is equally poorly designed with way too many quirks that cannot be resolved because of the crappy service! Do yourself a favor buy anything else dont be the person that has to hear 'told ya'.
