Claim Your BusinessI love GoodRX. I signed up for the Gold membership because it used to save me $20 on my prescription. Now I have Medi-Cal so my Rx copay is $0 and I don't currently use any other medications, so I didn't have a use for GoodRX any longer. I called for a refund and they issued it without any concerns or issues! I would highly recommend checking the company out to see how much you can save.
We were offered the annual membership, saving us a couple of months' cost, with the understanding that we could cancel this at any time. After a few months, and the price of different drugs had changed, we realized the GoodRX Gold offered us no more savings than GoodRX. We called to cancel, and we could easily do so, but they would NOT refund of of the unused months left on the annual membership. We thought cancelling meant a refund, but it does not!

I signed up for the gold membership. I needed a refill of meds for my nebulizer so I chatted with a "provider" online. I told him I had a nagging wheeze and needed a refill until I can get in to see my DR. He said I was having an asthma attack and I needed to go to ER now! Really? I've had asthma forever. I know when I'm having an attack. I kept chatting and he was gone! Lol... I got scammed out of 19 bucks for nothing! I cancelled my membership!
Hard to cancel
It cost 9.99 month
More then it actually saves! Scam, Ripoff! Do not fall for this!
Tip for consumers:
B careful. Most GoodRx discounts are already saving u without signing up for Gold.
Only saved 10.
But paid 9.99 a month.
Just b careful.

It cost more for membership then savings!
You basically pay a subscription to not even get a discount. The free version of the service is cheaper a majority of the time, so you'll be paying more for the "gold" service AND your medication.
Do yourself a favor and stick to the free version. It's better than "gold".
I was a trail member of GoodRx Gold. On most generics, the Gold price is usually 6-8 dollars cheaper. However On some medications the regular like Lidocaine Patches 5% for 90 patches the GOLD PRICE was $120 dollars higher then the regular GoodRx price. However there were several medications where this was also the case.
What concerned me that once your are listed as a GOLD GoodRx member an a prescription is sent electronically from your doctor to the pharmacy are they going to charge the Gold price or the regular GoodRx price?
Customer service stated that that you just need to tell the pharmacy that you want the lower GoodRx price and NOT THE GOLD price.
Personally, I found this absurd as the best price for Gold members (i. E. paying members) should be the top price shown for the medication you want when you open the app. I dropped the GOLD membership as I found it misleading however, I will try again with the knowledge I have acquire as to how this works that is switching between Regular and Gold at a pharmacy. Note the cheaper prices under regular GoodRx is found below the Gold lists under what other pharmacies are charging. I
I was a good Goodrx Gold member and received a prescription for a fairly common issue. I found a pharmacy with the lowest price and had it sent there only to find out they didn't accept Goodrx and the $8 quoted prescription was $16. I called them to tell them and ask for the difference of $8 and all they did was call the pharmacy and verify they didn't accept their program. I wanted the whole membership canceled but she only refunded one month and didn't cancel the membership entirely.
So sleazy was the "gold" offer, without a price quote or payment detail, I've cut up my GoodRx cards and will utilize another discount prescription provider here on. Who knows what else they're scamming with respect to your prescriptions?
This "upgrade" to Good Rx is terrible. Don't do it. First of all, the prices are not better and some are even higher that just using a Good Rx coupon at your own pharmacy. They are very good at transferring existing scripts over to them -- but then the scripts get "lost" in the system. So refills are impossible. I am trying to track down the pharmacies they transferred my scripts to in order to get refills (could only do this with the help of my Publix Pharmacy). What a run around. It will be easier for me to just call the doctors and ask for new scripts. Stick with Good Rx coupons and your own pharmacist.
App not in line with the "internal pricing". Plain English, they don't honor what signed up for, poor
I've been using GoodRx for a while then I decided to sign up for the gold RX I don't see where it's saving me money my prescription that I get on a weekly basis has doubled It is charging me more money per prescription how is that saving money? I would give them zero stars but you have to give them one it's false advertisement you pay $5.99 a month for the service and then my medicine that I have to get weekly doubled literally doubled in price and with the regular gold RX I save more money be aware before you get the gold RX. Save more with Basic Good RX
This is an app based program which is already been penalized and had a settlement with the FTC for selling your financial and private information to other vendors. They're scumbags avoid them that goes for their doctors too they're quacks. Sometimes the cheapest definitely is not the best
I will give my rating a 1 ONLY because the agents who work for Goodrx Gold are just messengers trying their best to calm customers who know EXACTLY what is going on with what was once a wonderful RX program at greatly reduced costs. I guess the best word I can use for the Goodrx employees answering the phones is that they,
Attempt to "PLACATE" both knowing and unknowing consumers who are paying $9.99 a month only to find out that several different pharmacies are refusing to take Goodrx Gold. I am a 25 year veteran critical care nurse and know far more than many others about big Pharma and the Capitalist country we live in which allows for big Pharma to make such shameful profits "legally" that some go without their medication or give up something, such as "food" to be able to pay for the medication they often desperately need. There is an article online from May of 2022 titled, The GoodRx-Kroger Blowup: Spread Pricing, Pharmacy margins, and the Future of Discount Cards. GoodRx surprised their investors and their customers with very unpleasant news about the near death of a relationship between Kroger Pharmacy and Goodrx. I don't have the mental bandwidth to tell all of you about the months and months of literal negotiations standing at the cash register at Kroger Pharmacy to receive the correct discounted price. However, Kroger is not the only giants fighting this war, there are others and more pharmacies joining in the madness of what feels like corruption fueled by tremendous greed, yet sadly for so many people, especially the aging, I am told we are all just experiencing Capitalism at its finest. Lastly, there is a well known African proverb that states: "When elephants fight, it's the grass that suffers".

I subscribed to try to save money. Four weeks later and I still don't have my prescription. Every 2-3 days I call or message them for an update only to get the runaround. My pharmacy still hasn't even heard from them. Total waste of money.
I signed up for this yesterday. First had lots of problems getting signed up but they don't help you over the phone. Today I did telehealth and got an Rx but it was never sent to the pharmacy. First-person told me she can't help me 2nd person finally did because I drove to the pharmacy and was not at home They have no supervisors available to speak to and they have to call you back. They do callbacks at end of the day. That will not fix my problem. It is 3:25 and I have spent my whole day trying to get this fixed.
I drive a truck for a living and signed on to GoodRx in order to see an online doctor. Before they took my payment information they asked me for my medical history, and to upload a picture of my state issued ID and a selfie. Then they took my payment for the doctor visit along with a separate $9.99 for good RX gold membership. Once they got my money then they told me that I needed to take a picture of my prescription bottle. I did not have it where I could get to it. Ask them why they did not get this information before they took my money? Long and short they refunded the cost of the doctor visit but the 9
99 that they took out for this membership crap they would not refund. They are very misleading and sneaky. Do not sign up for their doctor service or their prime membership.
In order to use it, you have to know EXACTLY the details about the Rx your doctor ordered. You would have to call the pharmacy IN ADVANCE to get this info. The website is NOT HELPFULL.
This the WORST service for which you pay $9.99/month to use. CVS does NOT recognize it. I am glad I asked for a refund for this worthless waste of money.
Tip for consumers:
Do not waste your money on GoodRx Gold.

Good Rx Gold advertised prices at pharmacies are much lower then what the pharmacies will actually sell the prescriptions for. The prices that Good Rx Gold advertise are not accurate or reliable in spite of what Good Rx claims - which is that Good Rx has contractual agreements with pharmacies concerning pricing. When Good Rx Gold is made aware of these price difference, Good Rx may phone the pharmacy but the pharmacy will ultimately not change their price to what Good Rx Gold advertises. Paying for a Good Rx Gold membership is therefore a complete waste of money. Pharmacies should ultimately stop Good Rx Gold from this deceptive advertising and put an end to the 'bait and switch (prices)' scam.
I recently signed up for goodrx gold after seeing that my medication was available thru goodrx gold for $134 at a local chain pharmacy. When my prescription was filled, I called to check the price and was told that it was $341. I had them check that it was thru goodrx gold, and they confirmed that that was the actual price. They suggested that I call goodrx gold customer service. When I did so, and finally got thru to a human (34 minutes later) the rep told me that many of the prices shown on the gold website were incorrect, and that to get the actual price I had to look up the med on the goodrx website where it would show both the goodrx and the goodrx gold prices. When I did that (at the "official goodrx site-compare prescription prices" it showed ONLY the goodrx price. NOTHING for goodrx gold. Goodrx gold charges for membership, renewing monthly, so you must enter a credit card with security info to get the gold card. Is this a phishing scam to get my card info? Looks like it to me. I just cancelled that card with resulting hassles. BUYER BEWARE!
Tip for consumers:
I do not have the means to send a photo proving my purchase (only a landline with no camera), but I will provide my goodrx gold member ID to prove that my revue is legitimate upon request.
I was able to find a coupon for the generic of Allegra D. The trick is finding a pharmacy that will honor the price. GoodRX is a joke! Why publish the price if nobody accepts the coupon.
Don't waste your time.
I called to cancel my paid membership. I have never used it. My medicare supplement wouldn't pay for my pain med. I got RX Gold and went to CVS with the card to get it. They attached a coupon to my account so I didn't' need Rx Gold for it. The Rep was so nice. He checked and saw I never used them, so without me asking he credited me for every month I was charged! Most companies do all they can to get and keep your money and make it hard
To cancel. I hope their business thrives. I cant say enough about their service!
Tip for consumers:
i just wanted to give RX Gold kudos. This is a pain in the butt and normally I wouldn't have put up with all this BS just to review!

This is a plan to get your medications cheaper.
GoodRX has consistently had lower prices for both myself and my wife's prescriptions. Only downside is that the best prices may require getting the scripts from more than on pharmacy. Two of my wife's prescriptions are cheapest at Winn-Dixie pharmacy and two others are cheaper at Walgreens. They are close to each other so it is no big deal.
Tip for consumers:
Make sure to compare the pharmacy prices rather than just one.
I have no idea why anyone would say that Good RX has not saved them money? Every since they started I have used the app an to be able to just compare prices saves u money! Let alone every thing else the app provides u with... a lot of information about the drug... my experience using Good RX, in the beginning, pharmacies did not like them, in fact one pharmacy told me I could only use on 1 prescription! So no one can tell me it did not lower the cost of drugs an caused pharmacies to compete an then to counter Good RX pharmacies started their own memberships an drugs were sometimes cheaper than Good RX! So all the way around I have saved money! And now with the gold card how can anyone say it does not saved them money? Thank u Good RX for the saving I have received an the information on drugs too!
A couple improvements u could make to the app:
Go directly into med list skip the yellow Good RX page
Acknowledge when u r already a gold member show that pricing an stop asking me to become a gold member
Also I think it is normally keeping track of meds I have looked up but doesn't always not sure why?
Tip for consumers:
Just check the prices every time they do change

The service
I am still stunned by what I have ended up paying with GoodRxGold. I was paying $192 for a 30-day supply of just one of my meds that I will probably have to take for the rest of my life. With GoodRxGold, I am paying only $22, approximately a 88% savings. I was convinced that a mistake had been made and that sooner or later, the pharmacy would come after me! But that hasn't been the case. Apparently, GoodRxGold has a special contract with CVS for some (but not all) of the meds. Sometimes the cost difference (using GoodRxGold) between my regular pharmacy, Kroger, and CVS is substantial. Recently, the GoodRxGold price for an inhaler I needed was over $400. The helpful pharmacist at Kroger found a generic for $99 (using GoodRxGold). Then I checked the GoodRxGold website & noticed that CVS has the same inhaler for $33, so I transferred my prescription to CVS and saved $66! A very strong anti-biotic that had to be ordered was going to cost $99 at Kroger (using GoodrxGold). The website showed that CVS charged $36 for the same med (using GoodRxGold), a savings of $33. Again I transferred my prescription. But sometimes CVS charges more so you really have to check each med. Sometimes the actual cost at the pharmacy is a little different from the website coupon but it's usually not more than a few dollars. Sometimes my insurance is a few dollars cheaper so I don't always use the GoodRxGold. I have been very happy with it and recommend it to everyone.
