“This is not GPSOutlet (Garmin Site)”

This is not the GPSOutlet that supplies Garmin products. They have been trading since 2020, these reviews go way back to 2015 - Contact GPSOutlet with the number on their site for peace of mind. I ordered a Fenix 5x Plus and it arrived next day free delivery and was exactly as described.

“How to cancel order”

Peter A.
1/5/21

I (stupidly) checked GPSOutlets' authenticity after placing my order for a Garmin watch. After seeing the reviews on sitejabber I immediately attempted to cancel. It is still early days but I think I've successfully done that, so here is what I've done: 'Which' had useful information available here: https://www.which.co.uk/consumer-rights/advice/how-do-i-cancel-an-online-order?gclid=CjwKCAiAudD_BRBXEiwAudakX442QRrehesDlYy0kvUL91eQNNC4eY0oLP9sEU2ahCZrHwXGw79MOhoC2UQQAvD_BwE I used the letter template to outline my rights and request a cancellation of the order. I then received a call (No Caller ID) from a member of the GPSOutlets team who offered me an upsell (extended warranty and screen cover). I said I'd like to cancel the order and referenced the email I'd sent. He said he will action this. I emailed again to confirm I had spoken to a member of the team and requested confirmation. I then received an email confirming cancellation. Fingers crossed the money is not taken from my credit card. All I can do now is wait. To confirm, the person I spoke to on the phone was polite and helpful. I decided to cancel only because of the reviews on sitejabber.

Ordered a Canon camera. I get the same email as others, saying I had to call to verify order.? Select option 1, but there is no option 1. After long wait, I verify address. They try to sell me a battery with the camera. (doesn't come with a battery?) I decline, as I actually have the battery that fits. Over 1 week later, I call, long wait, and I am now told it is discontinued, and that they said they emailed me. They didn't. Disappointing

These guys must just be complete idiots. They manage to get the price of a Canon Rebel T6i to the top of Google's shopping list, sure. But they will never send you what you think you're buying. Cancel your card! Hopefully you're reading this before they try to charge you!
If you contact your bank, alert them of the fraud immediately then cancel your card to get it reissued. Better than dealing with a $600+ charge that you will have to dispute to get back.

Do not ignore the reviews of this awful group of scumbags. I ordered a camera from them, but then told them to cancel the order. They sent the camera anyway & charged my credit card. I refused delivery and returned the camera unopened. That was several weeks ago & they have not refunded the purchase. What a bunch of scum.

Tip for consumers:
Look elsewhere - complete scam!

I ordered a Nikon lens 5 weeks ago, credit card charged $849,15 phone calls. Never received the lens, just all kinds of excuses. This company is a fraud, do not do business with them.

I ordered a Canon D80 body from these guys for $795 (great price). I got an email stating they had to verify the order and gave me a number to call. I knew what was coming.
I called the number ready for the up selling. After declining a battery and a memory card they said they'd get it out in today's mail. Then he very quickly said the total would be $888. I asked about the price on the website. He replied that the $888 included insurance and handling. After a few explicit words I told him to cancel my order. What a bunch of crooks. I sure hope they don't try and charge my card.

Order a GoPro Hero 5, order says 8-12 days to receive, its been over a month and still haven't received my product. I emailed them for an explanation, no response. I called them during their "normal business hours", no response, it leads you to a voicemail. HUGE SCAM DO NOT WASTE MONEY SAVE YOURSELF THE EFFORT!

This business should be prosecuted for fraud. The camera I order was never received and I am unable to contact the seller.

I consider myself very cautious and GPS Outlets got me, good. Or should I say ADigital. Same story as the others, I got a call saying no battery was included, got quoted a higher price and the final price was going to be about the same as anywhere else. I figured, "whatever, I knew the price was too good," but it seemed like it's mostly legit. $12,054 later PLUS a $10 "debit card fee" and finally looking for reviews, I realized I was dooped. 8-12 days for shipping and the "tracking" said "processing" for 2 weeks. I called the number with no answer, saying "they're closed" (at all hours) and never got a return email. I can't believe this has been going on so long. I am going to do everything I can to help shut this place down.

Fake a dress, too. Wow. I'm so stupid.

Buyer beware! Your low price order will be for an unusable Chinese version of the item. If you want a U.S. version, price will be MUCH higher than others.

So I tried to purchase a camera from this place and then got a call from the guy who supposedly "works" there asking me to pay more then it said on the website, telling me that the camera I ordered was the international version and not the american version so it wouldn't be in English. I agreed cause he said he would throw in a few extra things for the confusion. Then got a series of emails saying my order is being processed and then it was finished, and then one at the end saying it was being processed again. And still received no shipping info or any estimated arrival or shipping date.
I then waited a week calling the number on the website and the number he called me from with no response and emailing him and the voicemail is coincidentally full and then ends with a error. I then google mapped the address on their website and the lot that the address is to is empty with no business there. So i went to my bank and filed for fraud and they told me that the charge that went to my card went to somewhere in Great Britain. I then had to get a new debit card and got my money back from my bank.
This is a absolute scam. What a disgusting individual.

I ordered the zoom lens with USM and got the basic lens weeks after and sent many calls with bad voice mail and emails ignored. Then I talked to the guy and explained it and he says you must return that lens and he will ship the correct one. I was honest and quick to ship it back at my expense but that was mistake. Then the emails and calls were even worse or not going anywhere but got thru once and he says will refund money as he has no lens that I ordered. That was month a ago and no money back and phone and emails not answered. I reported to BBB and they tried a few times and gave up but BBB is not much better of an outfit. MT in Richardson TX.

I order a camera a month and a half ago. I still have not received it. Two weeks after i ordered it, i also received a phone call saying that the camera didn't come with a battery. They added a battery, and a $100 to the price of the camera. I told the guy i needed the camera in 2 weeks for a vacation... and asked if I would receive it by then. Well, I've been back from a week long vacation for a week. Still no camera. By the looks of the tracking #, it was sent out like a week ago.The companys phone is always full of messages... i told them I wanted a full refund because i had to buy the camera at Best Buy, and i wanted them to refund without a restocking fee. Because i had told them several times about my deadline. I told them I would pass it to BBB, if they failed to comply. Their response? They have so many complaints they don't care about that. I'm not sure if this company is just incompetent or strait fraud, either way. The final cost of the camera was $20 more than best buys cost. Save your mind and your sanity. Just buy it at a reputable dealer.

On Apr 09 2017 I ordered online a new Nikon D5500 digital camera with an 18-55 mm lens from GPS Outlets for $465.89. The next day I received a phone call from GPS Outlets to tell me that the camera does not come with a battery and that the battery will be an extra $100. I (naively) agreed to this extra charge if they would provide me a new invoice specifying the additional charges and equipment. That should have been my warning to immediately cancel the order. Who sells a camera without a battery? Since that call, I have received no new invoices from GPS Outlets, either by email, phone, or on my online GPS Outlets order profile. I later found that the standard battery that comes with the camera kit (EN-EL14a) costs about $30.

On Apr 24 my bank contacted me to let me know that ADIGITAL (GPS Outlets) had attempted to charge my card $599.00 on four separate occasions since Apr 10, but that these had triggered a fraud alert and the bank had blocked these transactions. GPS Outlets had not only unethically upsold me on an over-priced battery, but added an extra $35 for good measure. At no time has GPS Outlets provided any justification for these additional charges beyond the $465.89 for the camera. My bank was correct in flagging this transaction: fraud was an appropriate designation. My bank also informed me that that this business is based in the United Kingdom, not New Jersey.

Over the next two days I repeatedly called GPS Outlets at their customer service number *******335), but received an automated message that stated their business hours (which I was calling within), but that their offices were closed. I also sent emails to GPS Outlets (*******@gpsoutlets.com) on Apr 24 and again on Apr 25 demanding that the order be cancelled immediately and in its entirety, but with no reply.

On May 1, I received the following email from GPS Outlets (*******@gpsoutlets.com): Your order has been processed & will be billed shortly, if you have any questions please feel free to contact us at *******335 502 & we will be glad to help. Thank You For Shopping With Us

Once again, I repeatedly called the customer service number listed in the email, but no one answered. I then sent an email on May 1 to *******@gpsoutlets.com to immediately cancel my order and that I do not authorize a charge of $599.00 for this camera.

When I logged into my GPS Outlets on May 6, the sale was still pending and has not been canceled or modified. There was also no detail of the products I would be receiving for these charges beyond the $465.89 for the Nikon D5500 camera. There has been absolutely no attempt to GPS Outlets to contact me to discuss this matter. Later that day (May 6) I contacted my credit card company and learned that GPS Outlets had received the $599.00 on May 2. Upon learning the history of this transaction, the credit card company took back the $599.00 from GPS Outlets; GPS Outlets never even attempted to protest. Given this history, I can unequivocally recommend avoiding this company for any transactions. It is clearly a scam!
