“Worst company ever”

Yet another bad review for this company. Ordered some glasses and when i chased it up told me they were out of stock. Why did no one let me know when i ordered? Why show in stock on the website. Have been chasing a refund ever since. Was told the accounts dept was collapsed?!?! Whatever that means. Next step is to report them to all optician authorities and action fraud.

Absolutely the worst online shopping I've ever experienced! They take your money fast enough but, after you pay you'll see nothing! And dont even bother trying to contact them. It will fall on deaf ears. M thinking of going directly to their office to bash them up!

I ordered sunglasses month ago, but did not receive them at all. I sent email to GRANOPTIC if my order was shipped. Two weeks and no answer. Please can you let me know if we all of us conned stay together and write complaint petition to Eu court. As this has to stop. Norbert Polášek. Lisbon

I am disgusted by the service or lack of from this company. I have ordered sunglasses, they took my month straight away and I have heard nothing in over a month. I have emailed them twice and tried to call but to no avail. Avoid at all costs.

Ordered sunglasses on 17th July and as to date still no delivery. I've emailed numerous times, no reply.

Warning: Granoptic is all fake. I passed my order more than two months ago. No delivery, no refund, despite several solicit actions. Simply frauders!
Stay away from them!

I ordered-frames minus lenses. They took money immediately. The goods didn't arrive, chased via email never a response to any.
I should have been wary when Barclaycard refused to use the card I provided.
I then paid via Amazonpay fortunately for me.
Without the goods I contacted AmazonPay, put in a complaint via Amazon web site & into my account. Completed the online complaint. Within a couple of hours got money back in full. BUT WHAT IS AMAZON DOING GIVING CREDIBILITY TO THIS SITE? Are GranOp fully fledged scammers and shouldnt they be taken out of circulation

I ordered sunglasses back in June, they didn't arrive after 4 weeks so emailed and messaged them, no reply. When I then went back into my account to look at my order status it has miraculously disappeared. WHAT A SURPRISE. This is being written 10 weeks after ordering and still no glasses.

AVOID USING THIS SITE IT IS OBVIOUSLY A SCAM

This is the worst service ever. I have no glasses and money too. They simply stop replaying to your mails. This moral chreatures will take money and never send you the glasses. DISGUSTING STUFF!
After this I will never ever shop from Spain.

Order #******* placed on 12/08/2018 and to date no product has been received and no one has responded to my e-mail enquiries. So disappointing!

If you lost your money ordering sunglasses in Granoptic and you paid using your debit card, please contact your Bank to complain. Provide the Bank any information, documents, printcreen of order, info when the product should be shipped according to the shop, when you ordered, confirmations of your attempts to contact the shop, etc. I think it's the only option to get your money back. I tried to contact them many times, without any response. After complaining in the Bank, I got my money back after about month after complaining. I really appreciate their help.

Granoptic doesn't deliver glasses, doesn't srefund any money and doesn't respond to any emails or questions through their website. Watch out, it's a fraud.

I paid just under £200 for a pair of sunglasses nearly 2 months ago, they have not sent my glasses and they do not answer my messages and e mails requesting a refund.

Without doubt the worst online shopping experience I've had for quite some time.

I placed an order in March. After two weeks I hadn't received my order and hadn't heard from GranOtpic so I emailed them. They ignored me. I emailed them a further four times and each time they ignored me.

I had had the foresight to pay with Amazon Pay so I opened up a claim. This prompted GranOptic to get in touch to say the order was on its way. It eventually did turn up, addressed to the wrong person. Bizarrely they sent a test product: I ordered some glasses with clear lenses; what I received was a dummy product with large logos all over the lenses, rendering them totally unfit for purpose. At this point I received an email from GranOptic demanding I close the Amazon Pay claim. I explained that I had received a defective product and was told I was "ridiculous" for expecting clear lenses (as per the photo of the item I had ordered) and that this doesn't exist, however if I sent the glasses back and paid some more money, GranOptic would fix the problem for me.

They also refused to acknowledge their mistake over the labelling issue and levelled a few more insults at me.

To charge someone 82 for glasses that cannot be worn is outrageous.
Ignoring several emails, refusal to fix the problem and then finally sending a raft of insulting emails is just unacceptable. I can only infer that this company's business model is one made upon deliberate fraud.

They are terrible, I order on the 9t April 2017 and they still haven't fulfilled my order I have requested a refund and 2 weeks later still no refund - do not use them, be warned. See the other review sites, they block negative comments, querying the purchase.

9/5/17 update:
I finally received an email (after threatening with a complaints procedure) telling me my order had been cancelled and that my 'case' had been passed to the accounts team to do my refund. I have asked when this will be - no response yet again. I have started a complaint with trading standards and action fraud and will continue with this until my refund is processed. I will take this further granoptic - you cannot take peoples money like this.

It seems I am one of many customers who have purchased something from granoptic for it not to turn up, and for the customer services team to ignore any contact. I bought some sunglasses as a gift and they still have not arrived and my repeated attempts to contact the company have been ignored. I'm gutted I did not purchase through paypal so I could raise a complaint with them. Granoptic - if you read this, I would appreciate this being sorted out and then will happily amend this 1 star review, which at the moment is more than you deserve.

Tip for consumers:
avoid like the plague

Ordered sunglasses. They then told me to expect to wait between 9 and 19 working days which is ridiculously long. This was not mentioned prior to purchase. I asked if I could expedite this by paying extra, they told me know. After 19 working days (nearly a month) I had to contact them and was told that my sunglasses might be coming in a couple of days but they are not sure. Also I was not offered a discount and the representative was rude on the phone. This business is a complete joke. The sunglasses were not cheaper than several other online retailers so no bonus there. I wanted my sunglasses within a standard 5 working day time period for a trip abroad. I am on course to miss two holidays waiting for them. Truly terrible.

I ordered a pair of prescription glasses on 28th June 2018 (A YEAR AGO) and not received them, or my money back.

I have sent 50+ emails and received just 3 responses. The first was to say my glasses were delayed for a further 2 weeks and I had nothing to worry about, the next was basically the same message and offered an exchange. Then the third. After I requested a refund, I was told "unfortunately refund can take months" by Maria and I should get an exchange for something "in stock"
I asked why a refund would take months on the 21st November 2018 and NEVER heard anything back after multiple emails, It has now been a year since I bought my glasses, I have sent over 50 emails and they have stolen 149 from me. Do not use this site, I believe any positive review to be fake. This site is a scam and will steal your money as many other reviews have pointed out.

I am taking further action and will post links on how everyone can do the same so you can get your money back.,

Under Article 18(2) of Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights clearly states that "Where the trader has failed to fulfil his obligation to deliver the goods at the time agreed upon with the consumer or within the time limit set out in paragraph 1, the consumer shall call upon him to make the delivery within an additional period of time appropriate to the circumstances. If the trader fails to deliver the goods within that additional period of time, the consumer shall be entitled to terminate the contract."

In circumstances were there seller failed to deliver the goods and the payment was affected by means of credit/debit card, this method of payment used may provide you a certain degree of protection by mean of chargeback scheme. Please be advise that strict time limits apply in order to avail of this scheme (usually between 90 to 120 days from the day of the day of the transaction)
