I supported Bill grays in the past but not now. If I could rate them less than 1 I would. Especially when they raised the prices on all drinks about a dollar and did away with dink bubbles.I buy a drink for people and maybe they don't want it right now so they would normally get a bubble for the next time they come. They basically are forced to drink it which I feel that is promoting over serving. Especially when the drinks are paid for. Bill grays should have chips or even a sales slip which would be cheaper.

Worst auction site I have ever come across ppl it's a Aussie company but have happily taken the cheap choice and gone to hire cheap slave labour and in return they give a there extremely rude arrogant personality in return. And mind u we're paying them to treat us n talk to us rudely and after all the stress they always return with the same outcome for every possible mistake mind u and there actually responsible for each bad experience I have had on this site. Ppl it's dodgy as there using dummy bidders that drive up the prices on almost every item. I have caught them out so many times in a space of less than three weeks. This company is no longer Aussie I promise u it's anything but Aussie. They have stolen $3700 from me and there saying that there is nothing they can do. Ppl I'm gonna try to take this as far as possible. I only just found out that there's a Facebook group made up of thousands of people who have a thing or two that you all need to read and join and take into account before using this scamming company. Ppl go to Facebook group and join (RIPPED-OF BY GRAY'S) and read and take into consideration all these people. If they were any good or cared for there customers then any proper trading company would have stopped and cleaned the majority of these complaints there basically nothing and most times it falls into them because mainly there site crashed or they don't offer certain realistic important actions e.g being able to cancel a bid incase of mistype? U would think like all other normal auction sites do. But no this one first so if u make a mistake by accidentally typing in $3350 when I was meant to type $350 on the item that I even purchased 7 more prior to this incident. After there premium n taxes they took from me $4205.03 for a item that worth $350. And I'm in the right 100% I put my hand up I did make the error end of day we are all human and we always going to Make mistakes. But I tried everything possible zo cancel it for it was the first time this had ever happened to me. I tried to call them but they were closed after hours and I also emailed them while the auction was still live telling them pls I made a mistake and they need to cancel my bid immediately. But typically no response at all and shocking customer service.

Tip for consumers:
Think again. Just go join FACEBOOK PAGE “(RIPPED -OFF BY GRAYS) . I guarantee you that if u watch certain items u will realise quickly that there fake dummy bidders who keep bidding . Next thing you see the item is referred instead of SOLD TO THE happy bidder who bid above me . A couple of days later the same item back up on AUCTION. I caught them out so many times n they do this on nearly every product.

Products used:
Purchased low grade very small n low quality pink diamonds through this site. Mind u I purchased 7 almost identical ones to the last one n final experience I will ever have with them. Now there’s a real Facebook group ppl with thousands of members with rally sad stories . Every single situation is very unAustralian . They simply don’t care almost every complaint is a error that began from e.g there site crashing or there site not offering standard actions that almost every other auction site in the world offers. A way to cancel there bid incase of a mistype like me I was meant to type $350 but accidentally put $3350 . No pink diamond has ever sold for that much especially the ones I was buying low quality and low colour and I was buying them without a valuation certificate . It’s makes my situation even more difficult.

I was highest bidder on a car, but below reserve, they called and we came to a deal, so I went ahead, based onn the description and photos, worse thing I have ever done, they lied. I need to have car tripped an resprayed, the build the trans, and a host of issues, $30,000 dollars, would not buy anything from them ever, have purchased cars through auctions for decades, I expect some hidden issues, but not flat out lies, please be carefull.

Worst customer service on the planet. When going onto their website a pop-up appeared at the bottom of the screen asking you to sign up and receive a $10 discount on your purchase. Entered email address and nothing come through (inbox or junk). Called them and spoke to a customer service agent and was put on hold while they "sorted out out". Got cut off after 20 minutes. Called back, spent 40 minutes on the phone this time. Was advised the code could take up to 2 days. I asked for a code to be provided so I could complete my purchase now. Was advised it can only be sent out by an automated system which I questioned why if that was the case it would take 2 days. Had no response to that. Asked me to go online and complete my profile and then recheck my email. Still nothing. I asked to speak to a supervisor however apparently none were available and it would take up to 2 days to receive a callback from one. What an absolute joke and a waste of time! If you can get the item you're looking for elsewhere I'd suggest doing so as if there's an issue with your purchase the customer service is non-existent!

Drove 4.5 hours today to collect my items today only to find out the shed was locked. The young fella from grays couldn't even get in! Had to wait for 3.5 hours for owner to show up and he charged me $100 to load 1 pallet! NOT HAPPY! Grays were supposed to bidders to arrange time with owner for pick up but didn't bother, they put pick up times when they knew no one was going to be there!
These pencil pushers get paid good money to do bugger all and you can't even manage that!
On 2 previous auctions they couldn't even supply an address-everywhere has an address ffs.
These issues are very easily fixed but just to arrogant, lazy or incompetent to do so

Grays online is bias towards the seller.

When grays makes a mistake they will not help fix the mistake. They only care for profit only.

Don't use this company, use pickles of manhiem instead, I've never had issues with these in my 20 years of use...

Tip for consumers:
Don't use Grays online. Use pickles or manheim auctions they are trouble free with genuine customer service.

Bought 4 cars from them. 4/4 were dodgy. One was accidented on the left and they took photos in a way that it didn't show any damage. It literally had a hole in its roof (not shown in the photos). The other car broke down after 10 minutes of drive. We took it to a mechanic who said it will cost us roughly $7000 to fix the issue. Same with the other cars, major faults not mentioned in the car's description by Gray's. Ask 4 are non drivable. I contacted them and they said it was my fault as I didn't do the inspection before sale. (Faults only detected once these were driven, which Gray's doesn't allow before the sale of cars). I have put a complaint to the office of Fair trading. They will be handling it. I request everyone to do the same. You can do it either online or contact them on *******. Please let's get together and do something about this fraudulent company.

BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY.

I had my credit card details stolen and an item was bought off my credit card for more than $3000 on the Grays online website. I checked my bank statements and saw that $1 was also taken out prior to the $3000 purchase, which I can assume is the credit card authentication, which I did not authenticate.

I then immediately contacted their customer service once I found out about this fraudulent transaction, I informed them about this fraud to 1. Not ship the item to the criminal that stole my credit card details and 2. Inform me of the name and address which the item was going to be sent to as I can inform the relevant law enforcement authorities.

I gave them the exact amount stolen from my account and the time so they can cross-reference this with the payments on their system.

Unfortunately their useless customer service have decided to protect the identity of the criminal and still ship out the stolen goods. Their customer service said ‘For security purposes, we cannot disclose the information of the buyer to you as a third-party'. And still refused to speak to me further after I tried arguing the fact that realistically speaking I am the buyer as it is MY MONEY used to purchase an item on their website.

I will be passing on every conversation with their ‘customer service' and the fraud that took place to the relevant authorities.

Beware of this scam website and do yourself a favour and if you want to buy something online go look at a more reputable website like Amazon or Ebay for the item you want and save yourself from buying from this company.

I bought a car from GraysOnline approx 6 weeks ago. Picked it up got it registered and inspected and 30 kms down the road the car caught on fire on the highway and was written off. Its now sitting in a wrecking yard! Ive since been reviewing my documentation and realised the engine number in Grays ad for the car didnt match the one on my blueslip - suggesting to me that the car likely had substantial engine issues for the engine to be changed. I complained to Grays about this, as it was a material fact about the car that was misrepresented in the ad - an engine is a part of a car and for Grays to incorrectly represent this detail was concerning.

Dealing with Grays over the last 6 weeks has been the worst experience in customer service I've ever had! GraysOnline has taken every step to deflect responsibility and try and cover up the situation. They've tried repeatedly to convince me that the solution is for them to change my original invoice to show correct engine number. I've vehemently refused this offer because they're clearly trying to cover their tracks. More importantly, it's dodgy and in my view borders on fraud. It also nothing to resolve my situation, as my car is still sitting in a wrecking yard after 30 kms of driving.

I asked Grays for a copy of the PPSR report they say they used to identify the engine number and create the ad. I also paid for my own copy, which unsurprisingly is inconsistent with the one they sent me. In addition to this I've recently come across information which confirms without a doubt that the engine number in the ad was incorrect. Like my invoice that they're trying to change (I'm sure they've already done this in their own system) I believe they've doctored the PPSR report they sent me because there is no way the engine number they recorded is correct.

Whatever you do, DO NOT buy a car from Grays. You will live to regret it. They are dodgy and will do whatever they can to cover their tracks. They have zero empathy and accountability and are simply interested in making a buck. They give zero $#*!s about their customers - think about it... they don't have to worry about repeat custom because how many times to people buy a car.

Please don't be fooled into thinking you'll get a good deal with them. Like myself and the thousands of other people who've complained on this site and elsewhere, you'll be left out of pocket with nothing to show for it but weeks of pointless emails, phone calls and sleepless nights and trauma - As a young woman I will never forget the experience of having my car catch on fire on the highway and having to hitch hike. Trust me, there are other more reputable auctioneers our there. Don't make the same mistake of buying a car from Grays like I did :(( ((

I left my home for a few hours leaving my young sister at home to watch over everything. She had decided it was a good idea to join this site under my name and make a bid. Now i caught it only an hour or so after the bid was placed and have tried to cancel the bid, leaving it many many hours left before it ended. Its now been over 24 hours and I've called a few times, emailed and contacted everyone i could trying to get them to cancel this bid. They refuse, even after i calmly explained the situation. The women on the other end told me it was all my fault and ill just have to deal with it. As its a $3500 item and i have no way of picking it up or paying for it i find this ridiculous. I gave them plenty of notice, i was hung up on and told they would contact me via email but i know this is just a way to wait out the auction so they can force me into purchasing the item. I find this extremely unfair and it seems they let other people sign up to their site without mobile verification or something more than someone being able to access your email. Thats all that was needed to get onto this site and make a large bid. But since the agreement was clicked (not by me) I'm not being forced to pay for an item i did not purchase. They should let you cancel a bid once you've explained a situation, this wasn't a change of mind or a misunderstanding of their agreements.
Grays online need to fix this and make this go away. I have an autistic 3 year old, i cannot afford $3500 on an item i would never be able to collect
