The environment at GreeneStone is very nurturing. I felt very safe and the support from the staff was incredible. GreeneStone changed my life and I will forever be grateful.

I just posted this about greenewood: Scam artist. This is supposed to be a luxury rehab where they then try to upswell with the threat of being of the possibility of being in a room with another person. This is not true. During my stay I was asking just about every patient I could and no body is sharing a room. They scammed me out of $3600. 00 by bringing this to my attention the day before I was due to arrive. If this is not some sort of fear technique, I don't know what is. (Keeping in mind someone showing up to rehab is not usually in a very good place mentally) Who signs up for a "luxury" rehab thinking they will be sharing a bedroom with a complete stranger like it's some kind of OHIP facility. And when I questioned them about it as I am due to leave they just made a whole bunch of excuses and said "we'll look into it" lol we all know what that means. This place is becoming very run down. They are understaffed and many nights had no nurses on-site which means no meds if your having an issue. Not even access to simple Things such as tums or peptobismal. Not even if you tried! This is after finding out they take all that sort of stuff from you when you show up. So why show up prepared. The office staff (the people who can help you) leave at 3:30 most days!. The fire alarms went off 2 times in my 4 week stay in the middle of the night and no one showed up to turn them off for hours nor did the fire department show up. They went off another 3 times during the day so good luck getting any wrest if god forbid you are having a bad day WELL IN REHAB! And the icing on the cake: I was put into one of the oldest rooms on the property right above an old empty pool that is essentially a mosquito breeding ground had no kitchenette and no jacuzzi tub like the other 90% of the rooms. So old in-fact it's was being renovated 2 days after I left. All this after being up sold on spending an extra $3600 ontop of the nearly 30k it cost for a 30 day visit. BE VERY CAREFUL when handing over your hard earned money and definitely don't be duped into paying thousands extra for something that doesn't exist. Plus you better love having indigenous cutler stuffed down your throat. Only positive aspect of my visit was the therapeutic and coaching staff. Food was so so and buffet style. The pool was Only open half the time and for about 6 hours a day when it was open. The gym and fitness facilities have a sceptic backup and literally smell like human excrement. The water is untreated a stinks of sulphur. All of the amenities and equipment to use them that are supposed to be in place for you to keep active and busy on your free time are so old and run down no one uses them. BE VERY CAREFUL when choosing GreeneStone to attend well doing one of the hardest things any person will ever have to do. There were 3 guests that left in disgust after being here for less than a week and as far as I know they are still fighting to get their money back just as I am still waiting to get my hard earned $3600. 00 back. If you want to pay a LARGE amount of money for lip service and smiles than this is the place for you. If not like I had already mentioned. BEWARE BE VERY CAREFUL AND ASK FOR A BREAKDOWN of your bill before signing over a single cent because getting it back for this multi million dollar corporation who owns 5 of these centres across Ontario is like pulling teeth. Painful and not something you want to have to do
