Havenly

Unfortunately, based on my friend's experience working for Havenly, the company is nothing but an embarrassment of management. Despite being an online business, the upper level individuals don't actually communicate well. Out of 6 or 7 emails sent, the company failed to respond to any of them. They opened up communication board where people could post their comments and concerns as employees, but they actually banned and ignored the posts of people on those boards. Overall, this kind of non-communication would be a fire-able offense in any work environment. I would absolutely never consider working with Havenly and the individuals managing the company due to their poor behavior, their unprofessional communication standards, and the overall atmosphere they foster in the communications they DO actually follow through on. It's absolutely just awful. The company also fails to compensate it's employees fairly. The person I know who worked there was expected to take on 4-5 full scale projects per week (something that should absolutely NEVER be expected of anyone in the design industry), and with all the technical and communication glitches and failures present in the company and its online framework, submitting and completing projects on time is next to impossible. All of this work, with the expectation that it is done perfectly every time, is in no way fairly compensated. The lower level design employees are outright being taken advantage of and abused as workers. They deserve much better than the management at Havenly is apparently able to give them. I would never consider working for or with Havenly. If you want to work with them, consider carefully that you are only helping the management at Havenly earn money at the expense of the people who perform the real work--the Designers that you actually communicate with. Just to be clear, the actual project designers at Havenly are good. The management and upper level workers at Havenly are business failures and deserve none of your time or money. Please do not give this company your money.
