“Pleased with their services”

Stephanie S.
5/17/20

My girlfriend and I had great experience with healthlabs and we are really pleased with the services they provided us. We went on a small vacation to the villa owned by her parents. Although it was safe there, we wanted to make sure and therefore got covid tests from HealthLabs which arrived very soon. Thanks!

“Cancelled Lab Test before Use, Still waiting for Refund”

Ken J.
10/29/23

I placed an order for a lab test only to find out my doctor would perform the same test under my health insurance. So, two days later I cancelled the lab test. According to their own policy you can cancel a test prior to use and get a refund, with a 20% cancellation fee. While I disputed the cancellation fee, I accepted it and expected a refund. All of this was in emails going back and forth. It is over a month and I've had to escalate my request to my credit card company since they have not yet issued the refund. And besides folks, a 20% cancellation fee for what?

We ordered 3 labs and chose the nearest lab, unfortunately he tests require fasting and nothing was available for my diabetic father till a week out, by which time i would be too late as my father would have returned, as a result we tried switching labs, but that lab also had no availability so I tried doing in home collection for $119 but that day the system was broken, and I tried again the next day, same result so I asked for a full refund, but was told cancelation was still applicable, but why should I pay the penalty for an issue on their end. All of this should be given clearly on their site that labs are subject to appointment delays etc. they should not charge if the lab collection process has not even started.

Verified purchase

I ordered a blood test to be drawn at Quest Labs. The next day, they sent orders for that test to be done at LabCorp. I called HealthLabs as soon as I got the order and spoke to two different people. I told them I was going to Quest for other tests and the test needed to be done that day, at Quest, with the other tests. The first person I spoke with said they would change the order to Quest, then came back and said they would not. Either I had to get it done at LabCorp or I could cancel for a partial refund and they would keep a fee. I told them a partial refund was not acceptable, but a full refund would be. The second person I spoke to said that a supervisor had refused to issue a full refund.

I had to buy the test from a different seller to be able to get it done at Quest.

A couple of weeks later, I again reached out and told them I'd initiate a chargeback and put out negative reviews if they would not make this right with a full refund, and again they refuse. It's the only time I've ordered from them, and it feels like a bait and switch.

Tip for consumers:
Do not buy from this site unless you do not care what lab they send you to.

Why I like them over the other Covid-19 at-home test sellers is that their process was the most quick and efficient for me. I ordered their test online, just one since I live by myself and I received it within a day, sent it back the same day and went right to the local lab near my town within the hour. Extremely reliable services and I am glad I choose them!

Searched online for a specific type of test which brought up the HealthLabs site and the option to buy the test. Purchased the test based on the information on the page. Prepared for the test as recommended (fasting, etc). Went to the lab where my test was scheduled only to find out I didn't buy the test I had Googled that brought up the results on the HealthLabs site. So I didn't take the test (even the nurse at the lab suggested it was a waste and wouldn't give me the information I was looking for).
Healthlabs took their pound of flesh by refusing to refund 20% of the test that I didn't even take.
Real question: If Healthlabs was audited, ask yourself how much money they've taken from customers like me who were misled by their information and site? I'd be willing to bet it's a very large amount.
So I don't recommend them and if you look at the "good" reviews vs the "bad" reviews you'll find that the 'good' ones are very short and simple while the negative reviews (like mine) are very specific and genuine.
That's all I'm saying. Huge waste of my time at a time when I don't have it, had to start all over to try to find the test I'm looking for.
They know what they're doing and they're raking in a lot of money by misleading customers and then refusing to give them a full refund. Ask yourself this: Why would ANY company demand 20% of a service that you didn't even get? Think about it. I'm guessing it's a huge portion of their revenue.

Tip for consumers:
LabCorp was awesome, they're the ones who told me the truth about the test and encouraged me to cancel based on the information I would get from it. It wasn't the test I was informed that I had bought.

Not private! Their tagline is "fast, PRIVATE, and affordable testing" but there is nothing private about it. I was just notified by my doctor that my results were shared. I never consented to this nor was i even notified. So much for private.

All individuals that will rise in price with the countries as tourists during the first hour of work on the work of crocheting to carry out sanitary and epidemiological studies, for example, tests, as a way to fight against ailments on COVID-19. That's my choice Healthlabs. I always use this online store, my family and friends. An important factor is the communication of the staff in the details of providing the necessary information.

To say that I was impressed with their customer services and grateful for them would honestly be an understatement. I accidently ordered a different test instead of the covid test I was wanting to buy from them. I quickly contacted them and made them aware of the issue so I can exchange the tests and get what I wanted. They made it happen and the woman who called be was extremely polite and ensured me that she can send me the test I want. And she did because a couple of days later, I got the package from them with the codi test. Extremely grateful for your services!

My husband has stage IV lung cancer and we are seeking treatment to help to save his life. In order to get treatment, we needed a test done. We ordered the test online and went to a local testing center. We paid in full and he provided the blood that was required for the test. We were told that his results would be in his portal in 1-3 days. We had hoped they would be ready in 1 day, as time is of the essence for him. We had also read that this test takes approximately 2 minutes for results, so we were very hopeful that he would have results quickly. We had read on their website that their tests are done promptly and that we would have the results within 3 days. So, it is in writing and we were told this verbally.
It has no been 6 days and still no results. We have called and talked to many different people, all of which have given us different information. We were promised that they would be ready by today. They weren't available by 4 PM EST, so we called again. We were then told that they would be in his portal no later than 7 PM Central Time. So, we waited and they were not there at 8 PM EST. So, we called and were told to wait another hour. We did that, and still nothing. We called again and were told that they would be there by midnight. I asked how we could trust them at this point and what so we do if they are not there by midnight. They then said if that happens, they will send a follow up. This follow up takes another 24 hours…it's a notification to their support team to follow up as it's past the time frame.
It's beyond disheartening to have to beg and wait for days longer than we were promised. We paid on time, we provided the blood, and now they have all of the control and zero compassion for our desperate situation. It feels very illegal to present terms to a customer, take their money and blood and then change the terms and not fulfill their promise and to not provide any services. We have spent a lot of time trying to get these results. /'d we're desperate for help at this point.
I would advise anyone and everyone to avoid this company at all costs. I would hate for anyone to have to be lied to, led on and left feeling helpless.
I truly hope my review helps anyone that is trying to decide if this is a trustworthy business. Please take my word that it is NOT.

My screen shot is from an email that I received along with my account creation and order confirmation emails about how to proceed with the test I purchased from them. As you can see, it says the lab will not require and identification.

When I got to LabCorp, guess what? They refused to honor my purchase without an ID. So I was forced to allow the lab to scan my ID into their database, for use later by hackers. The people working at the lab insisted that they don't care.

When I wrote to HealthLabs, they wrote me that OF COURSE the lab requires an ID, how else are they going to know that I didn't send someone else to take my allergy test? Or that someone else stole my test?

Just garbage, of course. Why I would have someone else take an allergy test and have the results emailed to me is a mystery. How someone would steal my test is also a mystery. At any rate, I wrote her and sent the screenshot again (which she didn't read the first time) and quoted from it, "you do NOT need to bring your ID", as you can see below.

I haven't heard from her since. Worse, they're flagging the reviews I'm leaving claiming that I am not a customer. This is treating me like garbage. I don't lie -- they certainly do. Please do not expect them to treat you like customers if they're treating me like garbage -- that's not logical.
