I contacted Henson to buy a Basset Hound named Dora from their site. Everything seemed to go according to plan. The puppy was $550.00 US so I sent $500.00 to start for a deposit and on the 21st of Dec I sent the remainder of $264.00. We proceeded to arrange the delivery date which started with 5pm on the 21st of Dec., well 5pm rolled around and no sign of the puppy. Did I mention that they also added a $50.00 delivery fee and that they had free flight tickets for the puppy. Any way no sign of my puppy. I get on my computer and I have a message from Henson time 17:20: You will have Dora first thing in the morning 0n the 22nd of Dec. Noon on the 22nd came and went no sign of my puppy, again off to my computer I go. This time I phone Henson I try to find out what is going on all he has to say is she will be there tonight and that the transportation company has e-mailed me marked urgent. Again I go to my computer and find the e-mail, I read the e-mail to discover that the puppy needs a special kennel for the flight and that to rent it would cost me $495.00 US. well imagine my surprise. As Henson had never mentioned once about needing a special kennel as a matter of fact said it would only be $50.00 delivery fee. So I had to send Dora back to Henson and ask for a refund. Well here's where every thing goes from bad to worse. He sends me an e-mail saying he can give me a refund only in 30 days? What? I have been trying to contact him ever since. I have e-mailed several times, called and left messages and threatened him with legal action. Now because he wont get back to me about his intentions to pay me or not I think I am really going to half to take legal action. I have even tried to get him to pay half now and half at the end of the month which I shouldn't have to do. So now I am not sure whether or not Henson is a scammer all I know for sure is I have no puppy and no money!
