As being a part of the media, I was impressed by the service and wonderful attractions Hershey Park had to offer. The park was clean, the staff were helpful, and the rides were incredibly fun. There was so much to do I wish I could go back already. Thank you for a wonderful time!

Came during a weekday, while school was in, still extremely long waits. Arrived 45 minutes before park opened, have rode 1 ride by 1:30pm because of inefficient ride lines. Plus 2 of the first 3 rides we got in line for broke down. Wait time on app says 45 minutes, realistically it's double that. A big waste. On the plus there's a lot of rides, but good luck getting on more than a few in a full day.

It's funny how the official Hershey Park page is highly rated. Just there an I wouldn't even give it a star. There web site full of 5 star fake review!
Sell more tickets then they can accommodate, long wait lines avg ride per all day 4 to 5 with lots not even open. Total waste of time an your hard owned money. Worst Park in the states.

Hershey park will try to push gift cards and ecards on you because the park is "cashless". That is not true for all of the vendors and you can just use your credit card. I bought gift cards that then weren't accepted in the park (error reading the cards), but then no way of getting a refund. So I'm just out that money. As if everything in the park is not already overpriced that have to ty to scam money with these gift cards.

The rides have gotten better. It still has the same nostalgic feel from when I was kid, great music, fun rides and the lines aren't that bad. Get the season passes because it's the price of an entry and includes parking. Food can get expensive but it won't break the bank.

Watch your kids in line while smoking weed or cigarettes right next to them in the convenient smoke shacks. For those who don't smoke, don't worry you get 2nd hand smoke FREE of charge. Enjoy the wide variety of Carcinogens (over 1,000) while waiting for the ride if you can catch a breath while choking.

Literally that close. Maybe 5-7 feet close.

We have mostly enjoyed Hersheypark when we can breathe. For the most part we get to ride most things. Except for the rides where they have placed SMOKE SHACKS right next to the line you have to wait in. You know the ones...the claw is the one of them among several rides. If you get the timing just right on a windy day and it is blowing the other way, you can manage to get in a breathe or two before you pass out from the choking on the second hand smoke or weed.

No worries, Hershey does care about the safety and welfare of its guest. If you ask at customer service for an oxygen tank and mask, they will provide it free of charge. If you don't want to carry that around, they offer free guest help by providing a Hershey crew member to carry it for you.

If you don't want to be bothered by all that, customer service will give you a prorated refund for those rides that are inaccessible to those who prefer not to be standing in line choking and sucking in 2nd hand smoke and weed with over 1,000 chemicals.

Besides that, the rides are cool. At least the one I can get on.

Ps. I am not a smoker, except when I visit Hersheypark. Where I get it for FREE if I want it.

Tip for consumers:
Know whether or not smoking is allowed in the venue you plan to go and to what extent non-smokers are protected from 2nd hand smoke

This review is about their lack of customer service. My husband's company had an employee picnic there, and although parking wasn't included, a half off discount was provided (so parking cost us $12.50). A couple days beforehand, our son was sent home from school with a fever. His medical condition worsened & we were unable to attend the company picnic (for the obvious reason of staying home to monitor our 5 year old... we even tried bribing him with a trip to Hersheypark & he said no, so you know he was sick!). I called customer service & explained the situation. I was led to believe that due to a medical condition a refund could be provided, all I had to do was email Alyssa, the customer service supervisor. Her response was that it was a contractual, nonrefundable price, which I also knew, & they wouldn't provide a refund. I asked again, stating I understood the policy but felt an exception could be made given the nature of the event. I also asked for a manager. Cathy, the area manager, did respond, again stating they wouldn't provide a refund. Refunding $12.50 wouldn't, from my perspective, hurt them - no employee was losing out on money, I didn't take anyone's spot (again, it's a digital parking pass). But they insist on sticking to the nonrefundable policy, stating they hope I can come back to "make sweet memories" another time. Not really sure why I'd want to go back, given this experience. Guess the pandemic really hit their bottom line & now they're doing all they can to recoup as much as possible, with no regard for how it affects the other person. Nice to know Hersheypark isn't in the business of customer service... and the business is always right!

Tip for consumers:
Expect to spend a lot of money, whether you get to go to the park or not. Their refund policy - given unexpected medical conditions - is to provide none (not even an option to come a different day ... just kiss that hard-earned, inflated money goodbye!).

Products used:
No products used because we had a medical condition that prevented us from attending.

I contacted Hershey via social media to get my ticket resent to my email since it didn't show up and they were kind and recommended guest services. I called recently and was unhappy with the person I talked with. They were a bit rude over the phone and cut me off a few times. I listed the order number starting with 2022 then the rest of the number and the lady screamed "NO" at me over the phone. Her manner was rude and not helpful. I repeated the same number and then she screamed "No" I can't help you at me again. I'm pretty sure her name was Sharon and I called on 7/16/22 at 2:23pm. She seemed really mad the second I got on the call with them. I know Hershey's about a pleasant environment and kindness. I felt like guest services would've been nice but I was unhappy that I got yelled at over the phone and cut off a few times. I'm going to call back another day and hopefully I get someone nicer.
