I have been using this service for a couple years now. It is user friendly, it is cheap and they offer a HUGE variety of servers all over the world! If the server you are trying to connect to is bogged down with heavy traffic, they are kind enough to advise of you this so that you can make a better choice. I will continue to be a customer and recommend to others!

Beware HMA! When the trial ends, they lock you out of your account, bill you, and are impossible to contact. The ONLY way to stop them from charging you is to cancel your paymeny method.

Their VPN is NOT secure, and also throttles your bandwidth.

Horrible company. I gave them our credit card and they never sent a link or anything. Now we have to dispute with our credit card company.

When we tried reaching out to them, they're email bounced back.

Purchased a 3 year subscription.

Service is slow (2 Mbps Down) and the customer support is even slower.

Do not waste your time or money with this service.

THE WORST VPN YOU CAN IMAGINE. LEAKS ALL THE ADRESSES. I HAVE A SCREENSHOT WHERE I CONNECTED OUTSIDE CALIFORNIA BUT IP LOCATION CHECKS ON GOOGLE SHOWS ACTUAL ADDRESS. RUN AWAY FROM THIS SCAM

I have been a customer for a good many years now. I decided that this year I would not renew since I need to cut back on expenses. I wrote to customer service and received no reply so after a while I opened a dispute with Paypal.

After a week or so I got a reply from HMA saying that they would reverse the charge if I canceled my Paypal dispute which I did immediately, sending a copy of proof back to their rep.

Almost two weeks go by and 7 emails from me and finally they reply saying that it will take at least 4 weeks since there is an open Paypal case even though I have sent the proof several times that the case had been closed.

HMA is either highly incompetent, highly unethical or just plain spiteful. Also, there is no customer service telephone number so you are at the mercy of the emplyees reading and responding to email which they do a very poor job of. I clearly instructed them IN WRITING two weeks in advance NOT to renew my subscription but they went ahead and did it anyway. After having been a satisfied customer for all the years I was with them, I am now a very UNsatisfied customer and warn all would-be customers that their customer service is awful. Caveat emptor.

Already five emails sent with no result.

Loose my time and my money.

Signed up did not work. Cancelled within 22hrs. Never had it activated. Sent numerous emails, after a great amount of searching, talked to customer service. CS promised to send the refund and did not. Criminal theft.

Once again I am confronted by a bad service that won't allow you to cancel your subscription online.
I travel a lot for my work but have a permanent address in the US. I pay for Netflix. However when you travel you can't access Netflix locally and so I have used Hidemyass as a VPN to access the US servers to watch Netflix.
Now Netflix has blocked HMA and other VPN's so I no longer need this VPN. OK, I watch too much TV anyway so I am probably better off
However, I want a refund from HMA for the unused portion of my annual contract - around 50$.
Nope, they will not refund my money even though I no longer use their service.
I am sick and tired of having to deal through emails with delays to get service.
Never again.
HMA says they use a third party, Cleverbridge, for payment processing so they cannot refund my money. Not so cleverbridge says the same thing. Again, I am paying for a service I am not getting.
Bad service, bad companies, no suppport.

Poor from one end to the other. Also, you cannot count on hidemyass to actually hide your $#*! if anyone with a formal title asks for it out of a UK office. Which makes it kind of useless as a proxy.

It is a exactly VPN, which is the vertual private network. It's provide the secure network connection... very usefull to serve internet connection...

Great site and excellent service. There is a live chat on their website that makes it easy to ask your questions before you buy their services. They are helpful and friendly. I have also used their service for a couple of days now and it is working wonderfully.
